    Pollo Asado plate

Excellent food, reasonable prices and fast service. The Pollo Asado is my go to meal here. Kept meaning to try the Mexican Ramen...next time. Looks delicious. They have 5 or 6 tables for dining in or a drive thru.

BEWARE they add gratuity on your card without your permission! I'm glad I asked for a receipt. Will not be going back because that is not the type of place I want to do business with. Per the other reviews Alfonzo has been doing this for over 3 months now...someone should lose their job....crazy this is how you run your business

This is a Carne Asada Burrito. It's full of crane and just the right size. Very delicious

The service is pleasant. Good music and not blaring all crazy. It's not cold in here just right as well..

The smoky Adobada taco and the Macha burrito (#6) with sour cream, white cheddar cheese and green Chile tucked inside.

This is definitely worth the drive to the Southside for delicious Mexican food-it's the real deal. I catch the drive-through whenever I'm getting that craving for authentic truly tasty Mexican food - and the "plates" are huge and loaded. I can't really speak to the inside seating, but the guys at the window are always friendly and fast so there's that. The frijoles are top notch and the rice delish. Highly recommend the burritos but tacos are great too.

Hit them for breakfast. Portions are not small. There is almost no sitting space inside and everything is served to go. They do have seating outside but we were business casual. Special breakfast burrito was described as excellent and my taco and enchiladas was very good. Yes I eat weird for breakfast. Will be back.

This is a small taqueria next to another taqueria next to it. Most people who eat at Ramiro's tend to order through their busy drive-thru restaurant, or pick up their food to go. I had walked part of the Loop earlier today and wanted to try a taqueria on the south side of town. This little place fit the bill. I ordered #19, the enchilada with a burro ($11.55 plus tax.) The meal was quite generous. My choice of meat was chicken. I got fast, friendly service and ate inside as it was a tad chilly to eat on the patio.

O.M.G! So happy we accidentally found this place and decided to give it a try. A total hole in a wall diner with amazing food!! So much flavor and totally worth alllll the calories. They have an extensive menu with lots of staples as well as unique items plus you can customize everything. Breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious, and El Chipolon (burrito wrapped in bacon) was beautiful! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. Definitely a must if you are in Tucson and want to try some fantastic Mexican food.

my sister & I stopped by Ramiro's one night after work while we were in town & the service was great! the man inside was absolutely amazing & got us our order in no time!! the shop was adorable & clean & the horchata was not bad at all. I would definitely come back for some quick Mexican food whenever back in town!

One of two huge carne asada burritos in the #15 combo!

Holy Crap this place rocks crazy huge and tasty carne asada burritos! Based on other reviews here, my spouse and I split a #15 combo (includes two huge carne asada burritos, a large drink, beans and rice). At around $13, the #15 weighs about 3 pounds (!) representing tremendous value for your hard-earned peso. The steak had perfect seasoning and flavor. The included guacamole and Pico melded well with the meat to create a very savory burrito. (My spouse had a horchata and she said it was also delish.) We left completely stuffed with plenty of food for later. 5 easy stars!!

    Bean burrito meal!!

ADD THIS PLACE TO YOUR LUST!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Total win! Delicious HOT food, savory salsa - worth the drive FOR SUREEEEE!!!!

Great food and service! Authentic Mexican food. We ate inside, but there is also a drive through.

    14. Two Chile Rellenos

We stopped here just to get a quick lunch. I ordered the chile releno combo platter, which came with rice, beans and a little pico de gallo, and my wife got 2 tacos a la carte. I got a lot more food than I expected. I got 2 chile relenos, which I expected, but they were huge and really stuffed with cheese; they were good, as were the sides. My wife said her tacos were greasy. The guy who took my order was happy to refill my soda, which was appreciated. They dont have a lot of seating inside so we ate outside. The inside isn't particularly clean, though so that's ok. Also, this place has no bathroom; unusual for a restaurant. I would order from them again, but maybe get it to go.

Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

Chips were solid, although the salsa was pretty bad. Not sure if this is baseline or I got a bad batch but it was close to inedible. It tasted like spicy ketchup. For my entree, I had a beef burrito and it was also underwhelming. Meat was very dry and bland. Beans and guacamole were fine but did not salvage the meal overall. Oh also you have to pay for parking. Lot is $9 for the day and street parking was $2.50 for 2 hours which wasn't bad.

They offer booth and table seating, and the tables aren't packed too close together. With party members who have different mobility challenges, the spacing was great and made everything comfortable. The food was delicious. The complimentary bottomless chips and salsa were fresh and generous. If you order the horchata, it comes with free refills too, which is such a nice touch. Then someone else came up and they both started whispering and then told us that we would not be seated after all. We asked what had happened (was the kitchen too busy?) but were not told anything other than "she told us not to seat you". The secretive whispering made it a very confusing situation. We sat back down and waited some more. Eventually we got seated, but then the food took another hour to come after we ordered. We asked a few times for water refills but eventually gave up when it didn't come. The plus side - the FOOD. The mole sauce was really good, best I've had! Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
