The last few times we have tried to dine here we were greeted with a big fat attitude! The guy at nighttime was Hella rude! We had already placed our mobile order to eat at the restaurant, because sometimes they have specials on the app that they don't in store. Anyway, the employee has been rude to us several times, and we witnessed him barely walking to the customer's car for a carry out. He was moving at a glacial pace. Like he had no desire to take the person their food. Anyway, when we tried to dine in, he snapped at us and said we are closed! The dining room is already closed. Wtf?! They should make their hours clearly marked on the outside. AND...the guy I'm speaking of should have better customer service OR work somewhere where he does not have to work with people. We ended up canceling our online order, which is a nightmare. However, it is better than dealing with that employee. read more

Didn' feel welcome at all the first thing the worker said was it for her to go said for here she said well lobby closes in nine minutes. Suggesting that by the time our food gets to us that we have to leave. Her name is Stephanie very quite Rude. I work at another fast food establishment and when it's time for us to close lobby, even if customer came in at the last we let them know that they are the last customers that will serve for counter orders, and we lock the door and let them eat their food inside. I don't believe she should be in counter service or drive thru service with her attitud. Maybe have her just make food. read more

Awesome drive-through customer service super friendly very helpful. It was a great first experience at churches chicken since they're now is two in town. You could tell it was made fresh because it took a little bit long, but there was no other cars in the drive-through so we were pretty much in and out just waiting for our food. It was brand new. Everything is remodeled from the old. Burger King looks great. Definitely will be coming back. read more

New location, so very clean and well lit. 1st time eating here in Modesto period. I didn't have Richmond and Oakland Church's Chicken expectations but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Chicken was delicious! Not overly seasoned and some may say under seasoned but imo it was well balanced and very crispy. The honey biscuits were also delicious. I had the wrap as well and probably won't necessarily do that one too often. Very happy with customer services, very nice employees and they were fully staffed on our visit. I highly recommend them and let's keep them around because the next fried chicken place is 20 mins away north on Standiford and about 15 mins away....the KFC and Popeyes heading south in Ceres. read more

I picked an 8 piece chicken wing with church's sauce for my grandson to take home to him. I was the only customer in the drive- thru and no customers inside. That should have been my first sign that this was not going to go well. When we opened up the bag, the sauce was just dumped into the box, the chicken was not hot, and the chicken was extremely dry. My daughter And I got the special two for 5.99 chicken sandwiches the chicken was so thin it looked like it was compressed. It wasn't chicken and it looked like somebody stepped on the sandwich. Would give 0 stars service and customer service is horrible I made a online order that said would be ready in 10 mins when i arrived to get my order it wasn't ready and i had to wait an additional 30 mins to receive my order throwing in a free apple pie doesn't fix the horrible service i will never return to this place. read more

The food was not good made my stomach hurt. You could taste the dirty oil in the chicken. I tried it for the first time and I don't see all the commotion. Ordered a chicken sandwich that looked like it had an actual piece of fried chicken on it, got a flat patty that had no crunch. Fried were flavorless. Not even a speck of salt. Definitely won't be back. That was a complete waste. Gross! read more
