I met the owner at my work location and after a delay on my part I finally got in contact with him. My car has been stolen twice since I drive a KIA. After the second time I lagged on getting my window tinted because I was expecting the worst but luckily so far so good. I texted both numbers and got a fast reply. The owner was not only chill AF in person but he is super professional in setting up appt. and sticks to his schedule, and does a fast and AMAZING job . I highly recommend his services. I had the X1, X3, and my neighbor's car (acura) tinted. The X1 and X3 had ceramic tint applied to the front windshield to help keep the heat & UV rays out during the hot summer. I called around to 3 places that advertised being opened after 5pm because I needed immediate service today. My 4th call was to Chuy (Who closed at 5pm), and he answered at 545pm. Check this out................ I explained to Chuy that my home office printer was fried due to excessive sun damage pounding through my glass office door. I bought a new printer and needed to print some work orders today. I followed this with a please. Mr. Chuy replied, "I will come do it for you no problem" He showed up and showed out Y'all! I made an appointment after I received the best reasonable estimate, as others were charging upwards to 2x the price. Chuy promptly arrived at my home on the scheduled day of service. I had the rear 5 windows of my car tinted. He was finished within 45 minutes. I was absolutely impressed. He was helpful and answered all of my questions. I truly hate to leave a bad review of a business, and I believe that much of what went wrong with Chuy originated with misunderstandings. We initially asked for medium on my car and light on my wife's, including front windshield in very light tint. He agreed on a two car price and we set an appointment for both cars. He showed up to my apartment building and we realized we had never discussed he doesn't do apartment buildings. He said that due to a film color misunderstanding he upgraded our front film to a higher level 3M product, no price change. I appreciated that and said I would bring the cars by his home and we would have the work done in his driveway. Upon getting my car home I checked it over with my wife, this was my fault because I should have discussed any flaws before leaving. We saw a lot of dust trapped in the passenger side, more than we believed is acceptable, along with a scratch or imperfection on the windshield in clear view of the driver seat. She called him and said she wanted to cancel her tint. He said he was mostly done but would remove the film and charge us for the materials. We asked he complete the work and that we honor the original deal, but he said he didn't want to complete it and didn't feel comfortable working with us. We asked again to complete the work when we picked up the car, but he again said no. I felt bad for the communication errors and problems, so I apologized via text to him for my misunderstandings concerning tint and the amount of dust to be expected, and he accepted it. A day later I let him know we were being turned away from other tint shops because of the weird circumstances, and I asked him for a shop recommendation or again if we could have the tint done through him. He never responded. My car was done at the price of the two car discounted rate, so I don't have a warranty on the work (on his quote sheet is says warranty only on full price). I don't believe I'll be getting any additional contact from him concerning any issues with my tint. read more

I have been in contact via cell phone email with Chuy (as that's the only way he responds). He was prompt in responding when I was asking for a quote and trying to schedule our appointment. We finally got a set date and time, and it was my only day off of work so it was perfect. Well the day comes to get it done and a couple of hours prior to my appt, on the same day, (my appt was at 1pm and at 11am or so I got email) he sends a cell phone email that says he was sorry but had to cancel. NOTE: I left my cell number and stated to call me or text me...no, always responded from his cell phone to an email so it was always short. He is apologetic but states he will have to cancel our appointment because one of his workers didn't show up. Unfortunately for me that was the only day I could do it as his business hrs conflict with mine. He says "Sorry, please reschedule" So I ASKED if for the inconvenience I would be offered a discount if I rescheduled. Well from there the email replies stopped. After 3 days of no response, I asked him if he was going to get back to me or whether or not I should take my money somewhere else. This was my exact response: "Are you going to get back to me or should I look for another company to do the work?" Chuy is a great guy that runs a good business. I am a repeat customer of his for good reason. The fact that I can get my car windows tinted right in front of my own home is great. No hassles, just straightforward business. When I first had Chuy tint my windows, it was on my 3-series. I got limo tint for the rear windows, and 35 for the front side windows. Although my buddies warned me that I might get pulled over, I never had an issue. The tint was good quality, and never peeled of bubbled. I appreciated the tint blocking out the sun, which made my commute through the Los Angeles freeways far more pleasant. After all, the sun is great when I'm surfing, not when I'm dealing with tailgaters on the 405. The second time Chuy tinted my windows was on my business car. This car had more surface area to cover, and it was a bit trickier. This time, I got limo tints on the rear windows and 25 on the front side windows. When I was considering getting very light tint on the windshield and sunroof, Chuy advised against it due to possible scratches (from the tools he needs to use) being visible. Honesty is appreciated, and that is why I keep hiring him to do my tints. Chuy works out of a shop close to Torrance and Redondo Beach, and can come to you to get the job done. I had my windows tinted back in 2012 when I purchased a new vehicle and in the 3 years I owned that car I never had any issues with my tint and got compliments on it all the time. In this case, I got a great customer service from this place called Chuy's Mobile Window Tinting. I just recently purchased a car and needed window tint. I decided to choose this place since it got good reviews and it was close to my house. Fast forward a little. I drove my car home after they finished, but only to find little crease marks on one of the windows. It was really dark and late by the time they were finished with my car so we did not see this when inspecting the car. I gave them a call next day to inform them of the creases. Chuy said he will take care of it. He came by my wife's work few days later, and took care of the issue on the spot. He even re-did the passenger side window because he saw tiny bubbles/creases which really couldn't be seen! I'm very anal person when it comes to cars, and I am glad to see that he is the same way as me. He really did take good care of me and my car.
