Have a wonderful and pleasant experience with Mr. Chuy today. He was sent by an auto body shop I had the tint job done on my Tundra, to fix the job that I and my wife were not quite satisfied with. By the way, it is a very right thing for the auto body shop to sent one of the best in business to fix the problem. When I found out it was Mr. Chuy, I was quite relieved because I had read a good review on Yelp about him. I knew right away that I would be in good hands! Mr Chuy showed up and started to look at the original tint job, and explained to me what is acceptable and what is not. What is common and what is not. and started to fix the tint job! I am, myself, a business owner of 20 years. I know right off when I see the BS businessman and also when I see the good and honest one......Let me tell you that Mr. Chuy is the latter, good and honest. He finished the new tint job on my Tundra, and I ended up give him another job on my other car. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH HIS TINT JOB! I watched him the whole time while he was doing the job. This man surely know what he is doing. You can tell when you see the persons work whether they know what they doing or not! I am a hands-on business owner, and whenevr I see a fellow business owner does the work himself or herself, they sure earn my utmost respect and appreciation! The price is extremely reasonable for the best film in the market - 3M (that's what he uses) and for the experience that Mr Chuy has under his belt makes him and his price unbeatable and second to none. If you want cheap tint job, Mr Chuy is not for you, but if you want one of the best job out there and the best quality film, Mr Chuy is definitely for you. I like his job so much, I told him that I would let him put his business cards on the front counter of my business. Here's the highlights: - punctual - polite - professional - pleasant - proficient Ok so I'm clever but that doesn't make those words untrue. Chuy himself and Roberto showed up on time and were super easy to work with. They work so intensely that I practically had to force them to eat some pizza and have a couple sodas. They knocked out two jeep 4 door wranglers in about 3.5 hours and gave us a discount for bringing them deuces. Then we threw them deuces and they peaced out. First off, I re-tint my windows every couple of years due to tickets (really bad luck and a loud car doesn't help). I've been to many different places and Chuys has been the best. His customer service is outstanding and him and his wife tinting skills are excellent. He had no problem tinting my front windows limo and would have even tinted my windshield If I wanted but I opted not. Instead, I did a 10" vent visor on windshield. They used 3m film on all my tinting. I payed 90$ for my to fronts and my vent visor. He wasn't the cheapest tinter around but came to my shop and I diet even need an appointment. Great service. Called on a Wednesday for the mobile tint service but he was booked til Monday morning. So call early! Anyways, on Monday morning Chuy arrives on time to my home in Torrance/West Carson with his van. He had a pamphlet with all the example tints to show me. Wasn't pushy at all and did the job exactly like I asked. Even gave me some helpful suggestions. Another plus is that he showed up with an assistant, so you get two people tinting your car, so the job gets done fast. I've had my tint done at other places before that just took way too long and weren't as friendly as Chuy. Since he is a small business guy I paid for the job in cash so that he wouldn't have to worry about credit card fees. 5 stars all the way. read more

I recently used Chuy's Mobile tinting service this past week for two of my cars and I have to say I was impressed with the service. I had actually set up an appointment for the week before but had to cancel, he was understanding and assured me we can reschedule anytime. When I was ready to reschedule I contacted him, he gave me a time window in which he would arrive and went over the price breakdown with me. Which, was the same price he quoted me weeks earlier, seems like a minor detail but goes a long way. He arrived right in the window that he said he would and went straight to work. I had him remove the tint on one window from a new Dodge Charger and re-tint it as well as remove the tint from 95 Toyota Camry wagon that had been on there for 20 years and then go ahead and re-tint all seven windows. He had help but I was still impressed it only took about 2.5 hours. I'll be sure to recommend Chuy to anyone I can and already have! read more

CJ. must have had a bad day. I just bought an Audiand went to Tint shops and was quated $250 and up and the y said that the door panels would have to be taken off in order to do the tint and it would also take about 4 hours. Went to Chuys and was told the doors panels do not nee to be taken off and he could do it in an hour and a half. I paid $140 and it was a great job. We've had 2 vehicles tinted by Chuy, the first time it was my car, he and his wife arrived on time, they were extremely friendly and did a great job 2 years later my car still looks awesome. Today he and his daughter came to tint my husbands new truck and again wow! They arrived at 7:45am on Super Bowl Sunday and were done by 9am. Just like last time he did a great job. He only uses the best material so it is pricier then some shops that use crappy film (i.e: the stuff that turns purple and bubbles) You get what you pay for. One of the best things about Chuy is that he's honest, while he was here today I asked him to re-tint one of my back windows because my 7 year old flings his seat belt off and it has put little marks in the tint. I would have paid for it but he said and I quote "wait, let the kids get a little older and I'll come back, I don't want to take your money and have them do it again." These nice folks arrived within an hour of being called. They were polite, informative, and most important, they were patient with my oh-so-picky husband who is concerned with every detail. They installed a window covering I had purchased at Home Depot that my contractor was afraid to touch, knowing how critical my husband can be. This vinyl film, Artscape, needs special handling in that things need to be lined up and the installation needs to be trimmed to fit. This guy only wants the job if it's convenient for him. I made an appointment for him to come to my house at 11:00 on a Saturday. He showed up at 9:30a. When no one was home, he called me to tell me he was waiting at my house. My husband told him he could rush home and be there in 15 min, but Chuy said he couldn't wait. He'd already been waiting a long time. He left without doing the job. My guess is, his morning appointments finished early and my car wasnt a big enough job worth waiting around for. I looked on Yelp for window tinting for my car... and I have to tell you, I lucked up. After I read over 20+ reviews, although Chuy got 1 bad I figured what the heck, and I am happy I did. He immediately emailed me back, I asked when could he get me in as it was late Wednesday night and I really wanted it done by the weekend, he said Friday between 1-2. 1:30 he arrived and after we found a shaded spot to do the work, by 2:30 he was done and my baby looked good. I drive a 2011 caddi and all I asked was for my front to match the back and it does. Excellent service, fast and on-time. The price good too and I am one that haggles everything even the price of milk and the grocery store, with Chuy, I felt no need. I am VERY HAPPY and recommend him and his company, gladly! read more

Well I wished there was an opportunity for NO STARS rather than even one... This guys is pathetic at best... I had an apt for sat @ 0800.... and he confirmed it by texting me at 310-864-2483... He confirmed... SO at 0845am I text him and he states he had me for an apt between 0800 -0900 do I still want him to come.. Good god dude 800am means 800am not well 900am or 1000am or whenever you decide to wander around to the apt. People work all week and have to arrange there only 2 free days for you to NO SHOW on them and not even have the decency to call or text... I should have paid attention to the bad reviews listed here - THEY ARE TRUE AND NO FICTION for the ret of you reading this review... Just had my Pruis C tinted today at my home. It was fast and convenient. But more Inportantly, the service was FANTASTIC! Chuy was not only talkative and kind he was filled with a positive and friendly attitude. It's rare that you find someone with a smile doing there job nowadays. He asked about my schooling, and shared stories about his daughter (Who just got a scholarship to an amazing school, CONGRATS!) The tint job was professionally done with quality tint.
