I like this place mostly because of proximity to the shops I frequent. My only beef is that the…read moredryers don't get my car as dry as I prefer by the time you exit the wash. Otherwise, my car is always nice and clean. I love the added touches in the summer for the pre wash buckets to scrub off the bugs and the mat washing room as well as the air compressor to blow out the dust inside of crevices in your car or the water out of various spots outside your car. The membership is a good value and occasionally they run specials.

Great wash, shady billing practices. Read this before signing up…read more I really like Wash Monkey. The wash quality is excellent, the location is convenient, and the staff is friendly. But unfortunately, I'm leaving this review to warn others about a frustrating and shady part of their business model that caught me off guard--and will likely do the same to you if you're not careful. A few months ago, I signed up for what was advertised as a 3-month plan for $75. Sounds simple, right? Pay once, wash your car for 3 months. No strings, no ongoing commitment. That's how it looks on the surface--but behind the scenes, it's anything but. Without any email reminder, popup notification, or even a heads-up, I was auto-renewed into a monthly plan at $39.99 + tax as soon as the 3 months ended. It wasn't obvious, and it definitely wasn't expected. Only after seeing the surprise charge on my card did I realize what happened. When I contacted Wash Monkey, they were polite--but firm. No refund. No warning system. Just screenshots of a massive terms-and-conditions page that most people understandably don't read while standing at a kiosk. They claim it's not a "gotcha," but if you have to highlight a clause in the fine print and send a photo of the kiosk screen to justify a charge, that's a textbook gotcha. If your product relies on customers not realizing they're signing up for recurring charges, that's not transparency--that's entrapment. Look, I'm not mad that something renewed. I'm frustrated that: There was no advance notice before the charge. The pricing felt intentionally ambiguous. Customer service leaned hard on "you agreed to the terms" instead of recognizing the UX failure. In an era where even gym memberships send you an email before renewal, this feels behind the times--and a little predatory. I'm still a fan of the wash itself. I just won't be giving them my credit card again unless they fix how they handle renewals and customer communication. If you decide to sign up, read every line, and set yourself a calendar reminder, because they sure won't.
