Absolutely worst experience I've had here every time I go which is rare. 1st off I had my 2 front mats washed and vacuumed besides the whole inside and outside taken care of. After leaving the store 1 week later I noticed my floor mats were never but back in my car!!!!! Why!!!??? Because your way to busy talking and doing other stuff. Last week I paid around $50 for the full service car wash plus added all floor mats for cleaning. 2 days later, the smell in my vehicle was unbearable. I searched for something rotten only to find out 3 of the floor mats were still wet and starting to mold!. Several hours of scrubbing finally took care of the stench. The absolute worst customer experience I have had in six years. Went in at 9am for an oil change and a car wash and did not get out until 10am. Everyone seemed to be seeing who could do the least amount of work while at work. This location is woefully understaffed and it showed. It is Saturday morning people should be ready to rock. No since of urgency by anyone in the wipe down area. I will take the extra ten minutes to drive to the PDQ on Wisconsin hopefully they understand customer experience!! read more

I paid $50 to have my car washed at the PDQ location at 525 W. Northland Ave. in Appleton. I ordered the "Manager's Special" and also paid extra to have my floor mats washed. Though the exterior of the car was cleaned (though the automated system) & the mats seemed done, the interior was just as dirty as it was when I brought the car in. The filth was just moved around slightly. When I got home, I ended up having to clean everything myself. Everything seemed damp & pushed around (so I could tell it was sprayed & maybe wiped once), but nothing was clean. All the dirt was still there. Why bother to pay extra money to do the job myself? It's clear the employees don't care at all about the quality of their work, or giving customers their money's worth. read more

A few weeks ago I went to PDQ and had them do my wash versus me doing it myself. I upgraded and my cost was just under $50.00 I had just returned from a cross country trip so asked for special attention to my interior. When I drove to a parking place to look things over I discovered that my seats were filthy; they had not been vacuumed. What?! I asked to speak to a manager who was very apologetic and nice/ professional. I've had issues like this happen a few times. They offer to redo... I vacuumed myself at that point. Terrible car washes and value! Didn't even get my car clean and paid over $17 for the wash. And on top of that there was no hand towel dry with that which is absurd for that price. Waste of money. We still needed to clean the car inside after getting the manager special.

We signed up two cars on the monthly Clean-Freq program. Too many times we get stuck in line because PDQ can't figure out how to do 'auto-bill' - numerous times we complained - and numerous times they apologized. Don't waste your time or money with this company - there are too many competitors who will provide you with the services you pay for. PDQ isn't one of them. read more

Quick service- always have to make sure they actually clean the inside. I've had to go back before as they've forgotten to wipe down doors.

One of the worst car washes I have ever been to and I have been there 8 times but not again and I even have prepaid for a another wash that I won't even use the wash voucher I prepaid for! There is a serious management problem in my opinion as the service has been consistently horrible and today was the worst. I have never seen so many people pretending to wipe down cars and only the assistant supervisor was actually working and I watched one guy huffing the glass cleaner and then almost run over a girl working there and she gave him a freaked out look. Won't trust my car there again. Oh, and they charged me $13 dollars for the 'super shine' to armor all the tires and didn't even wipe all of the tires down. This past Monday a.m....first customer. Wanted the full service wash. After the wash...there were still caked on bugs on the hood, front lights were buggy and smeary. The side mirrors were spotted, the back window was not wiped completely clean and left with smears. This was not visible until I got out into sunlight and at home. Very disappointed!! The oil change staff was attentive and performed great. I definitely have no complaints about them. As far as the wash/detailing goes, you should definitely pass on the interior package. I paid for it, but was thoroughly disappointed in the final product. The vacuum on the floors was just okay, the dash cleaning was very spotty and the seat treatment was almost non-existent. The seats didn't even appear vacuumed as I had to clear off all the crumbs after leaving. Not what I'd expect for $46 and definitely not something I'd return for. read more

Don't bother coming to this location unless you have a half hour to burn. I normally go to the PDQ by Fox River Mall and I'm in and out of there in 15/20 minutes on a busy day. Northland location is a minimum of a half hour every time and that's when it's not busy. read more

Don't go to the PDQ car wash & detail center on Northland Ave, Appleton WI. I paid for premium service ($70), including car mats and armor all. They didn't even wipe a rag over my radio front. They put armor all on one door panel and part of my dash. Bits of dirt all over my counsel. Cleaned on the front mats. Didn't armor all my tires. My front window has smudges. And when I got the lube asked him what extra services they had and said I want them all. Paid premium price for sub par service! When I talked to the manager he said I didn't pay for those services. WHAT! It was my fault. TOLD HIM I WOULD NEVER COME BACK AND I WON'T. read more

I got my car "detailed" June 24th and I wasn't happy at all. Giving two stars is me being very generous. First off, I paid $10 more for them to use armor all on my dash. They did a half job on cleaning my dashboard and everything else they wiped. They pushed my passenger seat all the way back and now it's stuck all the way back. I tried all day to fix the issue but I couldn't. There were stuffed animals for sale, showing small for $3 and some change and large for $6 and some change. When I purchased a large stuffed animal (for my 8 yr old), I was told it's actually $26 and some change and my card was already charged. The lady went and wrote on the sign the "new" proving for the "large" stuffed animal. I called today to advise them of all this but I have to wait until the general manager is in tomorrow in order for something to possibly get resolved, is what the lady said. I would give 0 stars if it were an option. Brought two different vehicles in for detailing and paid for the most expensive service. I even told the employees that I would not be back for a few hours and that they could take their time to do a good job. Both vehicles were left half vacuumed (to the point where there was grass and even a couple of crackers left on the floor) and cup holders were left sticky and were noticeably not cleaned. Many areas of the cars were unacceptable and I had to ask the manager for a rag and cleaner so I could clean the rest of the car myself. What a waste of money and my own time. The whole reason I brought the vehicles there was to not have to clean the vehicles myself. Instead I had to pay over $150 just to go back through and clean the vehicles myself. Very dissatisfied with the service. I will never go back and will tell the story to everyone else I know that goes there or is thinking of going there. read more

It's not worth the money. The folks at the front of the line who vacuum are very poor at their job. The wash is fine, but if it's busy it will be rushed and you will see your mats thrown around and items pushed to one side of your car underscoring the haste of the workers. Poor attention to detail. At $30 for the Manager Special I shouldn't have reassemble mats and point at blatant spots that weren't vacuumed. read more
