In any case, the quality of the produce is generally excellent and the prices are fantastic. The focus is heavily Hispanic, so if you're looking for specialty ingredients (fresh and dried chiles and herbs, etc) this is a great place to go. You can usually find ripe avocados! There's a smallish grocery selection too (tinned goods, tortillas, hot sauces), a fish counter in the back (looks good and doesn't smell bad, both good signs, but I haven't tried it yet), small selection of meats and Mexican cheeses. Even the carts are brand new, no squeaky wheels or anything. Personally, I love shopping at Aldi, they have fantastic prices, and some real quality things that I look for specifically when I'm there, specifically their one-pot Asian and Indian sauces, artisinal salad dressings, flavored couscous, chocolates, and salsa. If I'm not mistaken, this is the original location of the FIRST Krauszer's Family Dairy that has since taken over Central and North Jersey. Love this place so much - buying a house on the other side of town, and this is probably the one business I will miss the most.
