The trip from the College Ave campus is about a 5 min. drive and a 15 minute walk and it's usually fun to take that trip with a friend and experience the different shops on George St. When entering, you are greeted to aisles of cohesion and neatness that almost give you a sense of serotonin and the willingness to shop. They usually would have the products that you ranging from american cuisine to latin american products, however, please beware that some of the american products may be marked up more than the international products and you are able to get them elsewhere. Nevertheless, the market is the perfect size, yet they are still able to carry a range of products. This is a great location especially if you live in SoCam or The Standard (& a Student Discount :)--I would recommend checking this out!

It's a little misleading to call this a "farmer's market," as it doesn't involve, uh, farmers…read moremarketing. It's simply a produce-heavy market. I haven't lived in NB through a growing season yet so I'm not sure whether their stock will localize as the seasons change, but I hope it will. In any case, the quality of the produce is generally excellent and the prices are fantastic. The focus is heavily Hispanic, so if you're looking for specialty ingredients (fresh and dried chiles and herbs, etc) this is a great place to go. You can usually find ripe avocados! There's a smallish grocery selection too (tinned goods, tortillas, hot sauces), a fish counter in the back (looks good and doesn't smell bad, both good signs, but I haven't tried it yet), small selection of meats and Mexican cheeses. Oh, and they sell Inca Cola, which is fantastically weird.

The amount of sauce they gave for the tangsuyuk was also lacking. Not sure if it was just us but we didn't get any banchan (radish) with our order while I saw everyone else got one. I also tried to order another dish right after someone else ordered, and they told me they're closed now. The parking at this hmart was pretty bad though. It took some time to find parking in the parking lot. Probably due it's located at a pretty busy plaza with a lot of restaurants. There were a lot of people at the food court, and it was pretty noisy.

I usually swing by on weekday afternoons when it's quieter and easier to browse without the rush. Some of the prices are on the higher side, but the quality and overall shopping experience make it worth it. The store feels bright and organized which could be relaxing and a nice contrast to most grocery runs. The produce, meat, and seafood sections are always fresh and well stocked, with plenty of variety. I especially love their tofu selection, ready to eat banchans, and marinated meats, perfect for quick dinners. I find myself always ending up with a box of Korean pears, golden kiwis, and soy milk in my cart no matter what I came in for. This little spa and grocery ritual always leaves me feeling recharged, with a calm mind and a happy fridge.

I was in the store on January 2, 2026 around 5 PM so that was yesterday. The store got bum rushed and there's was only one register open and the line was halfway back to the end of the store nearly. Anyway, he Ended up opening up another register. When I tell you, this guy has some type of superpower lol! He literally scanned and placed in the cart all my items, (and mind you I had about $200 worth of groceries) about less than 2 minutes. 3minutes tops!! I was absolutely just amazed and in shock. Like is he even real! So ya I just think that he needs to be acknowledged and shout out for his hard work! Thanks Santos your awesome. kindness goes a long way people never remember a dick (an trust me I know all too many I also work where is very important) but but people will always remember a kind, genuine person. 20 stars! But after I moved, I was closer to this location and decided to try it again. Well, to my surprise it was a brand new store! The remodel left it looking clean and much better organized. Even the carts are brand new, no squeaky wheels or anything. Personally, I love shopping at Aldi, they have fantastic prices, and some real quality things that I look for specifically when I'm there, specifically their one-pot Asian and Indian sauces, artisinal salad dressings, flavored couscous, chocolates, and salsa. I also enjoy seeing what kind of special items they'll have in the home goods aisle for that week. Sometimes you can get some really cool items.
