The thing that is crazy is that there is a national coin shortage and other banks are still charging people to take their coins if you don't have an account. But not Shorewood bank and trust. I dont have an account but they were happy to help me out and everyone was friendly and the coin machine was very easy to use. Don't get charged to get cash for all the coins you saved up come here and get every penny you saved into cash

I went in with a personal check from my employer and Armando the manager had me waiting for 20 minutes while they huddled behind the desk and the rest of the customers in the lobby stared at me behind the counter. Afterwards they refused to even talk to me or cash my check and told me to take my check elsewhere . I ended up taking my check to Joliet chase and Jackie behind the desk was so happy to help me and checked the system and explained the issue to me and I was able to receive my money. She even apologized for what happened to me at three morris location. Armando is a judgmental racist negative rude person . When I called the location he refused to acknowledge the situation and told me he would do the same if I came back.

I have had a couple loans through them and watched as they branched out and grew. I moved out of state and continues to use them as my primary bank. No major problems up until recently and it seems like their is no customer loyalty and it is just another major institution. Call center doesn't look into issues just asked and answered. I attempted to pay off my last loan, recently so I made a $1200 payment and from my account it showed zero. I called and the credit union and the rep told me it would be a couple days before it showed but to wait a week. I waited 2 weeks and sent a message asking what was going on. They told me there was a $4 interest balance and why didn't I ask for a payoff quote when I spoke to the rep... SMH because silly me thought I was calling an institution with a loan department that would assist me when I called to follow up the first time. Needless to say it took over a month and finally got my title. Update: I was contacted shortly after this to correct the issue. Fortunately it was already corrected but I went into more specific details with the manager. I do appreciate them looking into my situation and hope there is some documentation and retraining with some individuals.
