I bought a roast there to make for Christmas Day and when I put it in the crockpot on Christmas Day…read moreand cook it, it was spoiled. It smelled like rotten oil. I returned it to the store the day after Christmas the manager came to the desk was very rude laughed at me, turned around and told the guy give her a credit. Did not even try to make up for the fact that my entire Christmas dinner was ruined. One star is too many for this store. I've shopped there for years when they had their first bouts in Washington Township and that is how I got treated. They never called me even though the guy working at the courtesy counter said he would leave a note for the owners to call me with my phone number. No one ever called me. They don't even care what somebody went through and how their Christmas dinner was ruined. They are horrible.

I can see the points of both reviews below, and partially agree with each…read more Bottino's is like the lesser of 2 evils in town. It's certainly not as bad as the one review makes it out to be, but it isn't ideal. The regular/non-organic produce is much better at acme, as is the meat. But acme prices on everything else is much higher. Who wants to go to two food stores. So I assume people go to shoprite due to the price. The prepared foods are mediocre. The hot foods and salad bar look like a school cafeteria. But this is apparently good to many people, so it works. Shoprite does put a considerable of effort into stocking alternative diet food items, such as organic, gluten free, vegan etc. they've really come a long way in recent years, especially with having dedicated areas for it. I eat organic and gluten free. I can manage to eat solely gluten free shopping here, but could never sustain myself with their organic produce. It's atrocious. It's generally old/moldy. I'll even place something on a separate shelf if I find a moldy item (every trip so keep your eye out). If I had a web and in my backyard I'd shop there once a week, but I don't. So this will have to do. And it's just fine. FYI: Zallies shoprites have much better bakeries than Bottinos. No comparison.

Flashbacks galore here to 1994, when my sister and brother in law got married and celebrated here…read moreat their CRYSTAL BALLROOM! We all had a blast, and I remember how yummy the food was! Yesterday's celebration was held at their RED PINE INN. What a beautiful, heavily pine wooded space! Lots of twinkley white lights too. So cozy!!! We gathered for a 30th Anniversary wedding vow renewal. The bride came down the spiral stairs and the day flowed so nicely from there. The Masso's package chosen included really quality hors d'oeuvres, probably eight choices of meats, pastas, and vegetables, a dessert table and toasting champagne. The bride told mw that the gorgeous cake was included in the (reasonable) price! Love it! God knows when Ill be back but hope to return to this specific room!

Antionette's at Masso's Deli…read more This review is specifically for the deli - our family has been patronizing it for years. It's time to highlight two aspects: service and affordability. On Saturday (8/12/2023) we had some family over and called in an order of 5 sandwiches. Special thanks to Dawn who had them ready by the time I arrived to pick them up - only about 15 minutes. The quality of the food was appreciated by everyone partaking. The consistent quality of the food and the timeliness of the order makes the deli at Massos an easy choice. As far as affordability... if you haven't looked at the menu recently (or ever), now is the time! A cheesesteak sub for $6.25? Are you kidding me? Elsewhere that's easily a $10-$14 purchase. This is just one example. Take a look at the menu (up-to-date pictures attached) and decide for yourself. You will not be disappointed!
