If you don't want to waste your money and be disrespected don't come here. Was treated horribly and they basically kicked me out for expressing that I was unhappy with how big my thumb nail was. Asked if they could cut it and they started arguing with me. There's like 1000 coats on my nails too lol look how thick they are. They were so mean to meee lol and then they made comments that were accusatory, an older lady said she didn't want to do my pedi cus "i probably wouldn't pay" then when I was paying after they basically bullied me out the salon she started arguing more when I asked for the tip page cus I was still gonna tip even tho they were horrible and she said why if I "obviously" wouldn't tip. She tried to argue more till I had to shush her lol

A recent addition to McCully Shopping Center, Cici Nails provides convenience for residents in the McCully-Mo'ili'ili, Waikiki and Ala Moana area. Located on the first floor between the elevators and Curry House, Cici is easy to find and their signage is clearly visible from the lot. I went for a basic pedi with regular polish (no gel) and asked the technician if 45 minutes was adequate time since I had to pick up my sons from school. I was assured that was more than enough time but alas, I was rushing at the end despite a couple friendly reminders. But maybe that was an off-chance occurrence. The technician accidentally cut my cuticle a little deep and made it bleed taking a week to finally heal. But that too might have been coincidental. I'll see if the next go around is better. For the convenience, it may be worth the risk but still too early to tell.

Stopped in Hawaii before heading to Palau. We came in as walk-ins for 2 pedicures and 2 manicures. Was welcomed and they started on us right away. My technician was Christy. She did exactly what I wanted. Something natural, not long, and simple. I love the results! She is also very friendly. She did my daughter's nails too. Pedicures for hubby and daughter. Min was her technician. He did good with his massage and personal connection. His massage was like a deep tissue one on her legs. She said it felt so good. He was nice and communicated well. I would recommend CiCi's nails for their services. They are professional, friendly and welcoming. So if you're in Hawaii and need a nail place, they would be the best choice.

I had such a wonderful birthday experience at Cici Nails, thanks to my friend who treated me! This salon is incredibly kid-friendly -- the staff were so kind and welcoming to both me and my friends & of course the 3-year old baby who had her FIRST mani ever in her whole life. They were especially accommodating to my son, who patiently played Minecraft while I enjoyed my mani-pedi. The ambiance is calm and relaxing, making it easy to unwind. My nail tech gave me a soothing leg massage that made the whole experience even better. I truly felt taken care of from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend Cici Nails and can't wait to come back again!

I called to make an appointment for a pedicure and I got in right away. When I got there they were busy but very nice and the wait was only 5 min. I met Minh and Fong both were so nice and their massages were great! Minh has a great personality and such a cutie. So sweet. Fong gave me the most wonderful mani and massage as well. So happy I stopped in. This will definitely be my new nail spot. Can't wait to bring my friends!!

I went in for a manicure and pedicure. For the pedicure I didn't want a full spa just a simple color change because I don't like my feet being touched much. The guy who was starting on my toes was super nice, the old lady kept insisting I had to do a full spa pedicure and they don't do just color change, even though their menu said they offered just color. The spa treatment starts at $60 I believe and color change is only $30 she said she could do $55 for color change since they only do it with spa treatment so whatever okay. For my nails, I told her I just needed a fill my last set was only three weeks old but she insisted I had to get a soak-off and full set even after repetitively telling her I only want a fill I got a full set last time I don't want to do soak off and full set. Soak off and full set was the only option in site so I said okay since I needed them done today, I showed her the design that I wanted and asked for the price she told me it would be $110 for the nails, so I agreed, since I needed them done. The old lady began prep my nails she cut me with the drill and ignored it then she started to lay the acrylic which was done so messy. The acrylic was all over my fingers and hand I was so sticky. Someone walked in for a manicure and with my hands sticky and wet acrylic the old lady made me grab all my stuff and go to another nail tech. Once I moved the tech started to file my nails then she confirmed the price of the nails would be $150 I said that the old lady told me $110 for the nails When I said the old lady told me $110, she ran over saying she never said $110 and started yelling at me, saying she didn't like me and accusing me of trying to get out of paying because I was young, that I was being rude and not to try to scam her in her nail shop. I said I'm just asking where the extra $40 came from since u told me $110 and I didn't even want the full set u made me get a fill only would have been about $60 so I already have been up charged from what I wanted I'm just asking where this extra $40 came from since u said $110. I told her It wasn't about the money i was gonna pay whatever the price ended up being regardless. It was just that they added $40 to what was supposed to be $110 and I just wanted to know why. She went back and forth just yelling at me and saying such rude things to me for about 10 mins the other tech kept saying she told me $150 I call call my client that was here so she can be a witness cuz she told me $150. I said I don't know what you guys spoke about you were across the room I'm just asking because I was told $110 I wasn't involved in your guises conversation. She continued pushing to have her client take their side but like that's not what I was told I never heard $150 you guys talked about that to each other not me I don't need u to get a whiteness. The old lady continues going off on me I am like on the verge of tears cuz why are u causing this whole scene when in just asking what the extra $40 was for even tho I would pay it regardless. The old lady finally walks away the tech keeps insisting on calling her client as a whiteness. I said I'm not here to argue can you please just stop I was only asking what the extra $40 was for I told u guys I would pay it it wasn't a problem I just wanted to know why after I was already forced to pay for a more expensive service for no reason. I'm just here to get my nails done I'm not here to argue. She said omg calm down like I was being crazy. I said I'm not doing anything I asked a question and the lady started going off on me and talking shit I don't care about the money I will pay the price I just asked a question I just want my nails done again I will pay but please we can just stop talking if you can't stop arguing I'm sick of this it's crazy. The nail tech was silent and continued working on my nails for a few mins she then apologized and said it may have been a miscommunication and was nice for the remainder of the time. After all that, the design was fine, but she didn't paint the whole nail, and the acrylic was laid so poorly that I had to go somewhere else and pay another $30 to fix them + $15 tip for the work. My total at this salon was $170 plus I tipped $60, so $230, and then another $30 at the other salon + $15 tip to fix it. So, all in, I spent $285 for nails that were supposed to be just a fill. I won't be back this was just rude, disorganized, and the quality was awful. If you look at the last few reviews too seems like they all had the same issue as me as them being extremely rude and switching up the prices. The quality is absolutely terrible. Don't ruin your self care day with them or waste your money. Also they don't wash their towels in between use I was using towels during pedicure after I got switched to manicure chair they re folded them someone else came sat it my same chair and had to use the same towel I did. the owner will reply stating it's a misunderstanding.

My friend and I were a walk in and took us right away. The whole staff was so sweet and very helpful with the both of us! I told her I wanted a sheer nude pink for nails, she used to 2 different gel colors that made it the perfect shade that I wanted. We both live in Mililani and Wahiawa but ended up here trying to avoid traffic going home and were so glad we did!

Came here on a Sunday morning for a spa pedicure. Online said they opened at 10am. We got there and it was closed. We waited about 15 minutes. We were just about to drive away, then they opened. The place is very clean and well lit. I really like how they have the acrylic swatches for you to pick your color for even regular polish. A lot of places only have the swatches for gel polish. Sooo many gorgeous colors to choose from, too! The nail tech did a good job. She didn't talk much, but was friendly. It was a little more pricey than other places for a spa pedicure ($115 for the two of us, plus we gave tip on top of that). But happy with the results. I would come back.

Updating review to 3 stars because quality isn't there. Broke 1 nail after 11days. Retention isn't great. Just know you won't be getting the best nails here #sadness Or maybe it's the way my nail tech applied it? Who knows. But I'm just glad it wasn't after a couple of days. I've gotten a bunch of great compliments though!

I love Cici's! I'm pretty simple with my nails and indecisive about the color, but Min is patient with me and helps me find just what I'm looking for!

Calling it a sign... Literally as today marking the end of the year I decided to grab some tea at McCully SC and noticed in the former Fantastic Sam's location balloons and decided give them a look and saw it was a nail salon. Without any sign yet I went in for a peek and saw it was a nail salon and asked for a price list and found out they're just newly opened December 28th and got talked into getting a service as since it's been pre-vacation for my last pedicure why not take care of my precious feet that has gone through hell this year and last night was no different with 11hrs work day. They do basically just nails...manicure and pedicure services I got the Royal with Get pedicure at $90 it gives you a longer massage (30 mins). They have eight pedicure chairs and eight manicure stations with a nice, clean and bright interior it does bring a calming vibe. Located on the ground floor so access is very easy and though parking can be a challenge here it is free and if plan your visits it's not that great of a problem. I did have a staff that seems to be new as she struggled to remove my gel so a seasoned one stepped in and got it done chose a color that was a vibrant pink which I thought would represent the bright start for the new year as self care is the top of my list. Welcome Ci Ci Nails it's looking like a great new place to keep my feet feeling loved. Thank you!

this is my nails a week after spending $140 on them. super disappointing. They are already lifting and getting air bubbles. Again, should NOT have been $140. Wouldn't recommend.

Min did the best! . Come to Cicis!

Been going here for years now and every time I have an appointment I always look forward to it and very excited. From the moment I sat down, she was so warm, professional, and detail-oriented. She took her time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. The shape is perfect, the ombré blend is so smooth and clean, and the finish is super glossy and elegant. I've gotten so many compliments already! You can really tell she takes pride in her work -- nothing felt rushed, and every detail was carefully done. Not only is her work beautiful, but their new location was super spacious, clean, hygienic, and comfortable, which is so important to me. She's incredibly talented and consistent! I paid $75 for my manicure ($25 manicure, $45 gel french tip, $5 nail fix) and my pedicure was $37 for a basic. The new salon is brand new and everything is very clean. Ruby did my pedicure and Alex did my manicure. They were extremely busy while we were there but it seemed like it ran really smoothly. Everyone was pleasant enough but not much talking and it did feel a little rushed at times but also understanding that they were trying to accommodate all 4 of us on short notice. Ruby cut slightly too deep into the side of my left big toe and she apologized but it was very noticeable swollen and painful the next day compared to my other toe so that's not ideal. She was very meticulous with the polish application though! Alex did a great job with my deep french manicure. He was very quick and efficient with putting on an acrylic tip onto my thumb that was shorter than the rest of my nails. He was careful to not have the gel touch my skin and seemed to be the go-to for frenchies. The girl working the front desk didn't seem to be in a good mood. I don't usually mind but she was very short with her responses and not particularly nice or helpful when I asked a few questions regarding the pricing and point system. There is plenty of street parking available and it was easy to find. They're very popular so expect to be a slight wait and it's definitely a more sterile and clinically run salon than a welcoming one. I didn't see anyone with a walk-in so I would always recommend making an appointment!

Lily's Nail Spa & Hair Salon | across from the mountain side of Ala Moana Shopping Center, left of…read moreBank of Hawaii | Island of Oahu It's been a year, and it was time! About a year ago, I decided to trim my own hair. Let's just say... it didn't go well. The haircut was so bad that I lived with it for an entire year before finally deciding it was time to let a professional fix it. The funniest part? I even took that haircut with me on a trip to New York City... and believe it or not, no one in New York City even sneered! Teeheehee I honestly think providence brought me here. On my way to Ala Moana Center, I happened to notice Lily's Hair Salon and thought, "That's interesting. I've never noticed that place before." Just before that, I had called Macy's to make an appointment at their salon. The phone rang, but then a recording said the number was no longer in service. Since I just couldn't believe it, I went looking for the salon anyway and discovered it had actually closed during the pandemic. That discovery sure earned a surprised panda face! So, believe it or not, I made my way back to Lily's. When I first walked in, the woman at the front desk told me their hairstylist was busy and suggested I try the salon upstairs. I did, only to find they were closed. I came back downstairs and told her I didn't mind waiting about 20 minutes. While I waited, I happily took advantage of their massage chair. After physical therapy, that massage chair felt wonderful. Before long, Min Hee was ready for me. What I appreciated most was that she listened. The first thing she did after I sat down was start with an assessment and ask me what I wanted trimmed. She never once tried to convince me to cut my hair much shorter than I was comfortable with. I showed her how I like to clip my hair up while still having enough length for a little dangling ponytail, and we agreed to preserve that length while cleaning up the overall shape. She then trimmed the ends to the length I wanted, washed my hair, took another careful look at it, cut the rest, and finished with a blow dry so she could see exactly how it naturally lies. Now I have bangs again, my haircut is even and balanced, and my hair finally looks polished instead of like the DIY haircut I'd been trying to live with for the past year. My hair frames my face much more naturally now, the ends are clean and even, and everything blends together the way I like it. My haircut was $65. There is a $2 fee if you pay by credit card. Parking was easy, with six free stalls right in front of the salon. The salon itself isn't fancy, but it's clean, comfortable, and more than good enough. As you face the inside of the salon, the restroom is on the left in the back, where you'll also find complimentary water and snacks. Min Hee is the salon's full-time hairstylist and also provides nail services. There are two additional hairstylists who work part-time on their own schedules. Everyone I interacted with was pleasant, courteous, and genuinely helpful. They all seem to know who their customers are, so you won't get asked, "Why are you wanting to use our restroom?" That may sound like a small thing, but it contributes to the welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Thank you, Min Hee, for giving me such a great haircut and a wonderful experience. I'm very happy to have found your salon on the very day I decided it was finally time to have my hair professionally cut.

For me, I felt as though the work was rushed but still came out great! I had requested a gel x set but had to inform my nail tech because she was unaware and was about to give me acrylic. Not sure if she wasn't informed or if she automatically assumed. I did have a picture to go off of for design and the tech was very good at mimicking the design. Only issue I had was that she didn't clarify color scheme with me prior to starting and I had to stop her or ask for a different colors on multiple occasions. For instance what she thought was white I wanted a pastel pink since the whole look focused on a pastel palette. When I did correct the coloring I also felt as though I was in the wrong because she was going based on the "picture" but never asked or clarified with me what I had wanted. Overall I would still go back to get my nails done here just make sure you clarify the things you want prior to the nails being done with your tech especially if they don't ask you first

For my daughter's birthday she wanted to get her nails done. For weeks, she scoured the internet…read morefor inspo pics and decided on a sunrise shell design. I looked for a nail salon located close to the UH Manoa campus and came upon Nail Story. Nail Story had great reviews on Yelp and I liked that I could make an appointment online. The prices of the services was also available when you make your appointment. We arrived a little before 5pm and had to wait awhile before a parking spot opened up in the lot. My daughter showed her technician the design and she was quoted an additional amount of $46. The technician then went to work and when it was time to do the design, there was a lot of back and forth as the technician had not done a sunrise shell design before. My daughter wanted it just right and asked her to redo it several times. I was surprised her technician didn't take offense, but also happy that my daughter was making sure she was getting what she wanted. The technician was great and stayed patient as she tried to replicate the design as best as she could. Finally, after what seemed like the fifth time, my daughter gave a big smile of approval. Thank goodness! | was getting hungry! My daughter loves her nails and I also had a great experience with my pedicure.
