I had an appointment 2 weeks ago for a manicure and pedicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was great and workers friendly and tipped very well due to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] HOWEVER, 2 days later the nail polish on my right hand chipped on 3 fingers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went in to advise such and the 3 fingers were repainted at no charge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The next day, my toe nail polish chipped and each day thereafter, more nail polish chipped just a day or two after, including the 2 nails that were repainted. HORRIBLE! Nail polish should last AT LEAST 2 weeks!! My conclusion is that the nail polish is either old or cheap nail polish poured into name brand polish bottles!!! I DEMAND A FULL REFUND and will not go back to JJ Nails again! I value my hard earned money and time spent for self care, not to be ripped off!! read more

The services I usually get are mani pedis with gel nail polish, this includes the foot, hand, cut cuticles, soak, scrub, and callous removal. Out of the six different nail salons I've been to, JJ Union ranks number one if you get the right people. Helen is the best at cuticles and removing all that dead skin. She my favorite! I went here, because I could not see my regular nail tech in time for an event. I had to schedule the last appointment since I had to wait until after work. My gel nails started to peel off much quicker than when I go to my regular nail tech. The nail tech did not seem to care about doing a good job with my cuticles. Been getting hard gel over lay on my real nails for a few years now. So I thought to try a new salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner did my nails, & suggested I get a solar acrylic instead & wouldn't let me get my usual hard gel over lay.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was the worst nail experience I had. I had to ask her to repaint one nail because there were indent lines from layers of nail polish (not painting the entire nail). Then when I go home- all of the edges were crocked, then in two weeks the acrylic which she said was better than what I had- started to lift at the tips plus the nail bed. Every finger nail tip lifted and debris started to collect between my nail and the acrylic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was pissed because she insisted this was better![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I called to have her redo it- she suggested half off. So I would have to pay $40 to have her fix the crap job. On top of this- my real nail tips that were long & I grew them to almond share all broke from not being protected from the acrylic. Now my nails are stubs & I had to go to a different salon to take this solar acrylic off. Worst nail experience in 5 years of consistently getting my nails done. I currently have nothing in my nails from this horrible experience. The worst part is, I asked for what I can wanted & she insisted on giving me a shittier acrylic for a more expensive price. read more

I needed to treat myself my birthday was 2 weeks ago and I didn't get to do any pedi anythjng due to us moving houses and that was my birthday weekend full of moving I work a few blocks away from here and I called and Jenny picked up and told me to come in at 4:30. I was so happy because while killing time waitin for my sister I get to get some me time Tammy was who did my pedicure and she is just the sweetest! I just love people who are genuinely sweet. She told me she is new here so I appreciate her for doing such a great job with my pedicure! I love a place that knows when there's a ingrown toe nail waiting to happen. She was so patient and so precise, and also very gentle I think I might come here after work every other month. These ladies are nice, I fell asleep cuz I was so tired and she just kept doing her work haha I'm sorry But I think I found my new go to.
