I tried presenting a medical diet card from MD Anderson Cancer Center showing that I have had a total gastrectomy and must eat very small portions. The issue I have is I called before we went to see how much the buffet was because we've not been there in years and the price I was told over the phone was not the price I paid. We were told the buffet was $12.98 for adult which included tax and drink and children were $6.48. When we looked at the receipt we were charged $13.83 per adult and $6.48 per child. read more

It gets super crowded after school hours! But before the out of school rush and the school field trips this place has amazing food and service! The people here were are all very nice to me. The knowledgeable staff and the politeness was very much appreciated in my time of need. In fact, I was homeless when I strolled in and no one really made me feel the need to hide in the corner. That was very kind, sweet and compassionate. Well I will say there was plenty of pizza and pasta but it was so hot inside that sweat was dropping off everyone forehead, even the cooks. The flies were terrible the place was nasty. Amazing staff and location!!!! We visited after a school band competition with over 70 plus kids, parents etc and everyone was amazing! Great customer service, refilled pizzas, salad bar and desserts quickly and efficiently. Staff was going around cleaning tables and picking up plates. Terrible... always out of pizza. This is an extremely busy location and they are not able to keep up with replenishing the hot tables. If you special order a pizza it takes a good 30 to 40 minutes to get it. Thumbs down. CiCi's needs a 2nd location in the Calallen/Annaville area. read more

Shameless Manager. The service, manager, and store owner were so bad that I had to write a review. I took my Cub Scouts from Austin, TX to eat here before we did our overnight camping trip on the Lexington. The kids, ages 7-11, were of course really excited about the whole trip. They saved up all year and earned money through fundraising and other activities. So to start off, pizza was not available every time I went up, it was a Saturday and busy and I understood that. No big deal. That was okay. What was not okay was that half the games took my scouts hard earned money. It might sound petty and I would not have made it a big deal if not for the fact that the manager was completely out of line. I pointed out the games that didn't work and even showed her one game that was still running that did not function. She said "technically the game still works" because it was still on. Even after the fact that I showed her the control didn't work she still refused to refund the boys' money. This is just a matter of principal now. We just spent $50 on pizza and my scouts even cleaned the table and the floor around them - they even put away their plates and glasses and said thank you before they left. These kids went above and beyond to be courteous guests of CiCi's and great representatives of Cub Scouts. All of these kids are from single parent households in a government subsidized housing community in Austin. THEY DO NOT GET TO DO THINGS LIKE THIS OFTEN. I called the owner of the restaurant and surprisingly received no call back. I am beyond disappointed with CiCi's and will never plan a trip back to this one. read more

Terrible Terrible Service ! All the years been coming here , family, friends, school functions and sporting events! We have lived in Calallen all our lives ,,,,, Never again ! I have already informed Arlene regarding the girls and manager with the tattoos blue shirt (can't remember her name ) all over about her behavior. I was that bi-weekly customer that everyone who worked their knew my name & family and our order right when we came in, not no more ! One evening at 9:30 on a Friday night , after a Calallen baseball game, they told a family of 8, who I know because it's a small community that the buffet was closed, but the on door says 11 pm & they were already putting up chairs. I informed Arlene that Tuesday during day, how rude they were and how much money they turned away not just with that family. . I told him I would only come when he was there or order for pickup. Then a few weeks later I had called about ordering class pizzas for the last day of school, Arlene told me no problem , like usual ( after all Arlene just delivered and made 150 pizzas for our 3rd grade class) so i called and i got that same lady manager and she told me no they were to busy. I called back later Arlene said no problem. NOTE I have never had problems with Arlene or the old Enrique.they always go out of they're way for customers ... SO TODAY AT 545 we went to eat at Cicis , 6 of us. It was that same manager in a blue shirt. The girl at register was supper sweet , that's the only nice thing I have to say. We arrived ordered a mac and thick pepperoni pizza that they bring to table. After 25 mintues we still hadn't got our pizzas (keep in mind pickup only takes 15 mintues) I looked and saw a pan on top rack figuring it was the thick pizza . I (along with my son's 12 yr old friend , not sure what all he heard)?went up to ask about our pizza, i stood waiting for a bit. The (same lady) manager proceeds to tell me they would bring it out when ready, in a very rude wau, I said okay, then the girl with glasses and a cap said Oh its up here already. I said "I thought that one was mine." I start walking down to soup and the girl with glasses starts talking about me loudly to manager that I was rude and Bitchy...and that "it's like free pizza " while the mangaer just shook her heard and agreed with her. Excuse me I just paid over $50 bucks for my family ! Keep in Mind I have worked in postions as a manager and in court, with aggressive clients. Never have I ever seen such a disrespect of customer service or bad management. I confronted the young lady , asked if she had a problem, she wouldn't look at me and said she wasn't talking about me. I informed her I was right there listening to their conversation. The manager didn't say a word just said they would bring out the food, rudely. Which the young girl so graciously gave me. Even as I sat down to let my husband know what had happened they still took another 20 minutes to bring the Mac pizza out! But the people next too us , no time at all. Terrible Terrible customer service and its proven to be a pattern of this behavior. All the years we have gone there have been great but now, this place is now a low class, worthless fast food restaurant. What made it special was the kindness of the people that worked there "welcome to Cicis ". Now it's just Ghetto. Don't spend your money here go buy chicken, they are much nicer there. Such a shame but I have had it and I am letting everyone in my community know on all my social medias. BBB, you name it ! The only reason I didn't say anything before was because of Arlene but no one can change bad attitudes. The odd part of all this I wasnt even being rude 1 time , like I can be.
