We used to go here all the Time but the last time a few weeks ago it was horrible. It's not that clean inside. Some of the pizzas were cold. This review is for the airline location in n Metairie. We had been to cici's before the management change and were overall really happy with the new cici's. The pizza was good (it's not meant to be award winning gourmet pizza but it tasted good and there were a variety of types to choose from), the ambience was nice, and the place was clean. We've always appreciated the attached game room for the kids. The best difference from this Cicis versus the one from before the management change is that all of the workers/staff were very friendly, from the folks working at the pizza line to the ones circling the tables. I really appreciated that. We would come back again, especially with our young kids. Glad to see this franchise doing well. read more

Since I was babysitting a teenager and an elementary age child, this place was perfect for dinner. The kiddos were able to pick there pizza and eat as much as they wanted. The pizza was not bad like I assumed it would be. Actually, it was tasty and hot. It wasn't 4 stars because there were dirty tables that were left dirty for a while, and the soda machine was running low on ice. There are not many buffets are bake open during COVID. Thankfully, there is CiCi's, the super cheap place for all you can eat pizza, salad, and dessert. Things have changed a bit. There are now sneeze guards in front of all of the food, and you may not serve yourself. You most ask an employee to serve you the pizza. If you are self conscious at a buffet, it is weird because it almost seems as if the employees can now track how much you eat. Service was quick. The only issue is that I went for lunch right at opening time, 11:00 AM. There was no pizza at all out during that time, causing all of the early comers to wait several minutes as the different varieties of pizza slowly became available. CiCis is a great all you can eat pizza, salad, pasta, and more restaurant. This one is in Metairie by the baseball stadium and the New Orleans Saints' training facility. They have amazing choices and food is a decent quality. It's not unique and special but it isn't garbage either. Because it's all-you-can-eat food does sit out and wait for you to take it. On a busier day when they're constantly hopping and throwing up new pizzas and everything frequently the quality will be better than on slower days when it sits awhile. The restaurant has been recently remodelled and looks amazing, open, and welcoming. I plan to return soon. read more

The restaurant was clean, employees did an excellent job of greeting and picking trash up, but one employee really ruined the experience by trying to flirt with me, coming up, and repeatedly touching me (which was completely unwarranted and 100% inappropriate). He had stopped by originally to pick up plates, and we smiled and thanked him, but for some reason he took that as an invitation to come up and talk to me when I was trying to get pizza and kept stepping in front of me and touching my arm and shoulder when I tried to get away from him to go back and get to my table. It made for an exceptionally awkward dinner experience and I was incredibly uncomfortable getting up for anything for fear he would try to come up to me and touch me again. I would have mentioned it to the manager, but I couldn't figure out which member it was and I didn't want to cause a problem for the guy when I was there and he would no it was me, thus preventing me from ever coming back. I love Cici's usually, and I love the cheap prices, quick food, and I love their salad bars and pizza. I love that they renovated this one and made it more modern and they definitely took cleanliness seriously, which I appreciate. Where do I start? I arrive around 4:10pm and there were about four other customers in here, so not crowded at all. Let's start with the fact that we waited over an hour for pasta noodles. When we finally asked about them, they said they were still cooking. Long behold, the noodles appeared 5 minutes later and were extremely hard. As if they were cooked too long. Next, the same pizza was on the heat rack for over an hour. The pizza was extremely dry along with the Cinnamon Rolls were as hard as rocks. Last but not least, the employees were absolutely terrible. They were very young females, and their ages were definitely showing. They were screaming across the store to each other, running around the counters and screaming to the top of their lungs while using explicit words. Most times, they were out from behind the counter socializing with their friends, abandoning the counter. Very unprofessional. I honestly used to love CiCis. I frequented various locations in Houston and DFW area. But this was years ago and I was a lot younger with a small child. Me and the boyfriend decided to give this location a try last night and I doubt we will ever return. Pizza really was just ok. I did enjoy the cinnamon sticks though. The salad appeared to have been sitting there for a very long while. It was very wilted and old looking as was the broccoli (kinda turning brown). Most disappointing was the drink machine ran out of ice and I'm a person who likes a lot of ice. And (not the fault of CiCis and not considered in my rating) it was overrun with kids that kept running around, that kept cutting in line, some who would take like 9 of 10 available slices of a particular kind of pizza, and parents yelling. Really just not the kind of ambiance I'm used to now that I have an older teenager I suppose. It also wasn't very clean although a guy was doing a very good job of clearing the tables of dirty plates. The hand sanitizer machine was empty.
