Food was good. Service was good, friendly staff member at the register. Chill vibe. The service had a wait but they cleared the list fairly quickly. The only downside was I couldn't try the crawfish bread on this day. I will have to get it once I'm back in New Orleans.

I called in the order so not a dine-in review. Great place to grab and go for a pizza. Everyone was friendly. The pizza was to die for. I almost ate the whole box by myself. The wings were perfect as well. This spot was 10x better than any chain pizza place. Food was ready in the time I was given. It took about 12-15 minutes but that's not bad at all. My order was ready when I walked in.

I waited to post this review because I needed to see how the pizza help up during a reheat the next day and boy was I satisfied. I enjoyed the hot sausage pizza (hot sausage, green peppers, red onions) which was highly recommended by a neighbor friend. Now don't be surprised at their pricing. This isn't dominos or pizza corporate chain where you can get a $10 or less pizza. I spent $27 including tip for the large pizza. However it lasted me 3 days (one dinner and two lunches). The service was great. They answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. The inside is diner styled but there's plenty of booths if you want to eat inside. Next time I will try the wings which also come highly recommended. And I may throw some shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, and a bit of Japanese Mayo atop my pizza and remix it into a hot sausage "poboy" pizza.

Pepperoni Ray's Café is located in the New Orleans neighborhood of Gentilly at 5339 Franklin Avenue which is about 12 minutes and 5 miles away from the New Orleans French Quarter. When you are looking for where to eat pizza in New Orleans Pepperoni Ray's Café has a great selection of some really interesting pizza options which makes it a great place to enjoy some nice New Orleans pizza. Pepperoni Ray's Café serves more than just pizza as they also offer a selection of salads, chicken wings, cheesy bread and crawfish bread. My video review of Pepperoni Ray's Cafe is here: https://youtu.be/J29PUCuVNxM

Service was horrible. Customer service was pitiful representative extremely rude.

Pizza is terrible. Like frozen supermarket pizza. Tasteless sauce, undercooked crust, cheap cheese.

There is maybe space for about 6 people inside to sit comfortably. You order at the counter and there are few base coffees to choose from as well as some baked goods. I had read that their home-made cold brew was really good and to get it with the Gentilly creme topping. I ordered just that. It came out quick and I sat outside. The Gentilly creme is SO good. I slurped that up in under a minute. The coffee itself was a little bitter, but the Gentilly creme did give it a nice balance of sweet to break up the bitter. I loved the outside area. It was a nice lush space with lots if hanging baskets, covered with fans so it was cool(ish). The fence lined the seating with lighting for a nice ambience. There are maybe 6 two-seater tables out there. I did not eat so I cannot comment on the food, but I used the restroom while I was there which was nice and clean. Overall very nice cafe, romantic even. I will be back to try the baked goods.

The sauce was kind of like a white gravy -- creamy, rich, and paired perfectly with the sandwich. It was packed with meat and cheese, and the flavor was honestly finger-licking good. I wasn't too impressed with the coffee though. It wasn't bad by any means, just pretty mediocre.

There are some cute tables and chairs outside as well as about 10-15 seats at counters inside. I was greeted when I walked in and got in line at the counter. The pastries looked so fresh and delicious it was hard to choose just one. I went with a Pan O Chocolat, a chocolate filled croissant and iced latte. The prices are typical for a coffee and pastry. The croissant was so flaky and mouth watering. I ate very slowly enjoying each bite. The iced latte was good as well. I sat right by the espresso machine and enjoyed watching the baristas making coffees. I saw one come out with a perfect heart on top. They also have full bread loaves for sale as well as items for breakfast and lunch. I will definitely be back to try another pastry.

The line moves fairly quickly, so don't be deterred if the line is out the door. Seating is very limited, so we took our items to go. Definitely worth the visit!

Ample indoor seating, spacious and quiet additional work room, plenty outlets and outdoor seating - perfect for those who want simple conversation, or people needing time to focus on their virtual meetings, or those who want to sit and enjoy the outside escape. The Baristas are top notch. They make consistently tasty drinks (that aren't obnoxiously sweet) and find ways to connect (if you want to engage). They are diverse and they attract a really diverse customer base. You can frequently find them celebrating one of their regular's birthdays or have folk stop by to let them know they're moving out of town, to which tears and hugs commence. There's truly something for everyone. I've witnessed prayer meetings and AA meetings and Art Shows displaying art work from Local Middle School kids. There are decorations for every holiday and music for all generations. Simply love this place! My only critique is about customers who come with unreasonable expectations or expecting a Starbucks experience. ORC is a neighborhood shop. Be kind to the baristas, be patient when it's busy and enjoy the great coffee!! I consider myself a regular and I'm fiercely protective of everyone there! Love this place!
