Expect very few cigars, to be followed and looked at like a crook, lots of glass ie bongs and pipes, and lots of disorganization. Definately not a cigar store by anymeans- newest inventory is 2013 sticks from what I could see, no small rollers at all. Extremely disorganized, you have to dig to actually see what the inventory is. Customer service is basically nonexistent along with a lack of understanding or connection with clients[i was followed around for 30 minutes because I was looking up a few older sticks i've never tried, gets uncomfortable and silly- btw, you have to give your drivers license to the owner to enter the humidor]. If you are hard up for a cigar and this place is convenient or need a bong or crack pipe, this place is for you. If not and you want a friendly atmosphere who is ok with you parusing the sticks, there are much better options out there. read more

Despite being an asian-owned cigar store, they actually do carry a decent selection of cigars as well as t-shirts, stuff animals, blankets, swords, knives, pipes, bongs, household goods, and the list goes on... The store does have a walk-in humidor, but you have to give the owner your ID before you can go in there. As I mentioned, they do have a wide variety of cigars: Padon, Partagas, Rocky Patel, and Hoyo, just to name a few. The relative humidity in the humidor seems rather low as I found the cigars to be dry. I've bought several cigars from this shop and found the cigars to be malnourished. A lot of the cigars are discolored and cracked. The prices of the cigars at this store is relatively more expensive than other shops in the region. Considering the condition that they keep their cigars in, it is definitely not worth it. I would've given the store 1 star, but because they have a decent selection of cigars compared to other asian-owner "cigar" stores they get an extra star. I don't think the owner smoke cigars himself, so don't expect him to know cigars like an afficionado. Bottom line: If you're in the area for a party and just want to pick up a couple of cigars for the night, then head to this shop. However, if you're a cigar connoisseur or a beginner exploring the world of cigars, I would spend the time to drive to a full-fledged cigar shop. read more

Don't buy from this guy. I saw mold on his cigars and mention to the owner and he refuse not to remove the cigars with mold out of his store!!! Not to mention he's over priced!!! And owner should call store the "full of junk" box instead of cigar box. He sells t-shirts, hats, posters, dirty videos and all sorts of junk. read more

Awesome selection and really cool owner. The owner of this place is the reason I come back. He's honest and nice and always shows that he really appreciates your business. Should be named "Head Shop"... Way more glass pipes and bongs than anything else.. Tiny humidor with a small selection of convenience store priced cigars that are kept so-so.. Not worth the 4.2mi. trip I made to find out. read more

Just purchased a wide selection of Cigars and found there condition and price to be excellent. The Owner "Sam" was very helpful and knowledgeable. Gave me 3 free cigars given the size of my purchase. All were rated 92 or better. Really enjoyed the first two I tried. don't understand the negative comments already posted. My experience was very different. I'll return for sure. read more

I was trying to think of a good present for my husbands birthday and came to the idea that I would get him a few nice cigars. While I was at Top Foods I asked my checker if he knew any place and he was thrilled to recommend me to Sam and the Cigar Box. He told me that he goes all the time and that Sam really knows his stuff and is super helpful. BOY WAS HE RIGHT! Although I had a hard time finding the place, I arrived probably looking like a deer in the head lights not knowing a thing about anything in that store. He very politely asked if he could help and I told him my dilemma of trying to find a good present for my husband. He asked me very a few questions and straight away directed me to what he thought were the best choices. I do not know a lot about price of cigars etc so I gave him a budget and he stuck to it. I got two nice cigars and I mentioned that my husband got a pipe in Scotland like Sherlock Holmes and he told me I should purchase some tobacco and I did.. I think it was called... English gentlemen or something like that... perfect for my husband. The night of my husbands birthday we were all hanging out on the boat and he says... jeez I wish I had a cigar right now... SURPRISE I pulled out his present and he couldn't have been more happy. Long story short.... I've read the other comments, and I see that everyone is hating on this guy but I'll be honest...he's always been great to me! I've been coming here for over a year to get random things, and he is always super duper nice to both me and my girlfriend. On top of that, has now started to order things that he thinks I like which I think is pretty cool. He's got some really neat stuff in there that he's shown me (usually very animated like) such as a neat cane with a sword in it, and a stun-gun that looks like a flashlight. Scared the crap outta me lol. He usually cuts me a good deal on larger purchases as well, and he's even given me a free treat here and there. I give him 5 stars for his excellent service to me and my girlfriend over the past year! I'm sorry that others haven't had the same experience. read more

Not really a cigar store. More like a Sundries store that has a small humidor in the back corner of the store. Limited selection with exorbitant prices. Don't let the clerk choose a cigar for you or else you'll end up with an overpriced cigar that is old and stale. Choose your own cigar if you can find something you like. Once again, selection is extremely limited. Ignore the reviews that rave about the selection. These reviews were probably written by the owner or one of his relatives. read more

Great service.......I just wish there was somewhere online telling me the hours of operation.

My husband and I will never shop here again. Despite being previous customers, the clerk behind the desk was extremely rude by watching my husband like a hawk like he was going to steal something. We were on our way out of town so didn't go anywhere else but I let the clerk know that I did not appreciate the way he was acting and that I would never shop there again. It gets old when you are in your 50's and still get racially profiled...sickening. read more

I bought a "Pyrex" bong which broke into pieces, then he told me that Pyrex changes color... WTF! (Pyrex has a high boron content level, which makes it more difficult to break.) my girlfriend doesn't wanna shop there ever again, but I want the 7x refined butane, so ... damn. I gota go here when she is not around, and its not cus I wanna go there. hes just close. Dont go here, in fact, I wish more smoke shops would carry all his shit, so I don't have to go back! read more
