The store itself offers a great selection of smokers aids from all sorts of lighters to cutters and eveything in between. I'mfrom out of Toronto so when I ran out of cigars I did a Google search and found this shop nearby. I dropped in today, 28 November 2023, uncertain about what to expect since some reviews hadn't been very complimentary. I was met by Angelo who was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very understanding. We spent a pleasant 15 minutes talking about cigars in general and my needs in particular. At the end of this he had outfitted me with about 30 sticks at a very reasonable price. He then stowed them in quality Ziploc bags with mini humidifers in each. Excellent selection,great prices and nice ambiance; what more could one ask? This cigar shop is on the north edge of Toronto. From the front it doesn't seem like much till you walk in and find out the place is quite big. Huge walk in humidor with all the Cuban Cigars well represented. In addition an extensive range of non Cuban cigars. Its a good spot to find hard to locate non cuban cigars. They also carry a good range of accessories such as belts pens etc in addition to smoking related products. The sales person was helpful and spent enough time with me explaining things. I returned to this shop after a long hiatus due to having a new born baby. Stepping into that room again was a very pleasing reminder of what I had enjoyed over a year ago, a fine tasting smoke. Chris and I discussed at length the changing cigar market, immigration history, and of course going through some new recommendations based on my budget and tastes. As always, it was a pleasure to be serviced by Chris. I am especially impressed by his honesty, courtesy, and attention to cleanliness and hygiene. The selection of cigars have a good amount of variance from inexpensive sticks to higher end sticks, so there should be something for everyone if you can explain to Chris what kind of smoking experience you enjoy. Leaving the shop, there were a few other gentlemen waiting their turn to enter the humidor room. I'm glad to see Chris is still doing well. read more

My friend says I should feel bad for the people running this place. There's no other reason they would be so absolutely rude. Let me take that back, very nice lady was helping us for a bit with regards to buying cigarettes first, and then in the humidor. Bad 1: when we were buying cigarettes, and we're going to enter the humidor she made my friend give her back the pack. Bad 2: once in the humidor (maybe 5-10 minutes) - we were debating between a pack of individual cigarillos - husband comes in. Now, this guys was eating in the back of the store. He tells us that not only are we taking up his wife's time from dinner (the place closes at 8PM and this happened at 7:50PM - why have dinner before closing I don't know...), but we are also not allowed to touch anything. Well bloody f, how do I feel or smell the cigar if I can't toxic anything. For the record, I was only focusing sealed products. This guy's attitude gave me the vibe of "you're not spending enough money" to justify my time. Wife tried to calm him down before my friend politely noted that we are paying customers and he should take that into account. Bad 3: my friend tried to to for cigarettes by credit card. Couldn't do so because not enough $. I could because I was buying 2 cigars...what a joke. I am never coming back here and I say that as someone who has given this place several chances. If rather pay 1$ more at Casa Del Habana downtown and get an espresso and some pleasant conversation. read more

I had to get on here and drop these guys a review. I had never smoked cigars so was very intimidated going in one night. I wish I knew the guy's name who was there because he was so friendly and informative. Treated me like a king. Thank you! Explained all the basics and was super patient. Aside from selling everything pertaining to cigars, they offer a sophisticated selection of small goods (fountain pens, cuff-links, key fobs, leather, antique toys) for the refined gentleman. Nice, big walk-in humidor. But zero salesman professionalism. Believe it or not you are not allowed to touch the cigars! To choose cogar you have to check the construction of the cigar. In addition to the necessity for a cigar to be pleasing to the sight, it must be well made. The cigar you choose should be evenly colored and smoothly wrapped. Although small blemishes and or spots are somewhat normal, the cigar should have discoloration. If it does, choose another. Whatever you do, do not chose cigars who's wrappers are torn or cracked. A cigar should be fresh. When checking it's freshness, the cigar should not be dry to the touch, but have a mild oily sheen to it. You should also be able to notice the veins on the wrapper. read more

Filthy place with rude owner. Stopped by to get couple cigars to my new humidor. After walking around the store, I was polite enough to ask if I can go inside his walk-in humidor room and look around. Then the owner asked me if I'm planning to buy and I answered: sure, just want to look around first. He said that he does not want to waste his time on people who is looking around. if you want to go to a place and feel like a criminal go here. Saw this place a few times from the side of the road and decided to go in after a business meeting. Signs says no touching cigars which is perfecty fine. I asked to see a box code on a particular Cuban cigar. He said is it important to me? Some cigar smokers like to know how much age is on a stick, I'm one of them. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has ever asked this question. He later asked, Are you going to buy anything? Not after being watched over like a criminal and basically rushed out. Prices are high but I'll support them as it is hard to support a business with are our high tobacco taxes and strict laws. Will never go again, I will support the shop in Unionville,ON where they treat you like a friend. Don't go and waste your time. read more

Good selection but nearing the top of the price point for most of the products. Would not be on my list of places to buy unless you are desperate for a smoke. Not at all competitive on price and sticks to his guns so this place was a fail for me. If money is no object then you are ok but if you know your street prices then unlikely you will find a deal here. very very unlikely. Wish I'd thought to check the reviews on yelp before buying anything from here , the old asian couple that run this place ,they seemed like they got shoplifted too many times. they were watching us all the time ,like weird,,so weird . I was really uncomfortable at that point and when I told my girlfriend about it , she said she had the same feeling . I was running late so I had to buy my cigar anyways and I really hated that fact . they also didn't accept my credit card because it was less than 25$, there is a walk-in humidor in this shop so I didn't check the cigar until I unwrapped it later on and noticed its a dry cigar . it was waste of time , money. it was a really a bad experience in general. first and last time . read more

I love that Chris takes such good care of his humidor, products and will not let anyone handle his cigars. I have learned so much about the products and how cigars are made from him and that's why I keep going back. Who knew there was so much to cigars? I don't know about some of the other posts here but I want the owner with me when I am looking for cigars, I want that personal service, attention to detail because purchasing cigars is like purchasing fine expensive wine. I have been to other stores in Toronto and I found that most do not have the time to answer all my idiotic questions, but this store will take all the time that you need to make sure you are happy with your purchase. This is a great store if you are new or have intermediate knowledge level about cigars because they will take the time to really explain the products and always try to pair your taste to products. This is not the store to just go and get the standard box of Monte Cristo`s lets face it going to the US for the night will always reap a much better price. This is the place to go and explore to learn and try new things. I have never had a recommendation that I did not like. I very rarely will write a review on any business, but if you are really interested in trying or becoming more serious about cigars this is the place to go. read more
