Second visit to Cinco De Mayo and it did not disappoint! Visited for early dinner on a Friday evening and were seated quickly in a booth. Chips and salsa were delivered right away as were our drinks and we were off to a great start! For our mains, I ordered the Queso Dip Burrito with ground beef, and my husband ordered the Burrito Supremo with chicken, which also arrived fairly quickly. Both dishes were piping hot, fresh and looked delicious. Thankfully they tasted as good as they looked! Being that the burritos were huge, I only managed to eat a third of mine and my husband ate half of his, so we each have another meal to enjoy. I love Mexican food and lean towards Tex-Mex, and I would definitely recommend Cinco De Mayo. We'll be back! read more

Stopped by on the way back from the beach. Was surprised by the warm welcome and the quick service. The food was outstandingly prepared and very tasty. The salsa was super fresh and the chips warm. We had an excellent lunch today. We started out with an order of guacamole and queso which was served with wonderful in house chips. The lunch menu was available which included chile releno for me and steak fajitas. Our server Nicholis was helpful and attentive. We were specific as to how we prefer our dishes and he communicated it to the kitchen. The releano was how I prefer it cooked and delicious and had a sauce over it with beans and rice and lettuce on the side. The fajitas came cooked without too much seasoning and the meat was tender with onions and green peppers. Our server refilled the soft drinks as needed. The ambiance was good. We sat at a window booth which my service dog appreciated. I have eaten there for dinner and have enjoyed their whole deep fried tilapia served on the bone, which is a great gourmet dish. Went to Cinco de Mayo Jensen ON cinco de mayo - may 5th ONLY 1 bartender with only 10 drink "Special menu" for the day - not only had to wait 30 mins - only 8 customers inside bar- but she was RUDE - we had to keep asking and she kept saying just a minute ! She apparently had to run service bar for entire restaurant ON CINCO MAYO - by herself and of course she prioritized those orders over the people right im front of her - and drinks sucked - can get a better margarita at Chilis! The food is not, by far, the best Mexican food I've ever eaten but it is plentiful. The street tacos are still a single tortilla and somewhat oil soaked. My partner had Pollo Fundido and enjoyed it. In fact, he claimed it was too much food. The staff were friendly but I felt somewhat unseen. We paid over $4 for iced tea that was not ever refilled (or offered). The service was very bad. We were seated right away, then forgotten for about 30 minutes. Apparently, the waiter that came to our table said he didn't realize nobody had waited on us . I can't comment on the food, as I was unable to eat it. My food was so cold, and the cheese was congealed on top, I had to send it back. When it came back, it was still cold. I gave up, as my husband had already been done eating for a very long time. That was after waiting ten minutes for the tortillas to come after receiving his fajitas. He said they were "ok". I stopped in for lunch, but the restaurant was super quiet. It's actually hard to tell from the outside if it's even open (and which door to use). I was greeted and seated promptly. They have some very reasonably priced lunch options and combo dishes. I opted for a chicken burrito and tamale combo with a side of guacamole. The food came out quickly. I was happy that the guacamole seemed fresh and tasty. The combination plate itself was just fine... very typical, quick Mexican food. Nothing was heavily seasoned it a little bland overall, but the serving size was very large and everything tasted alright. read more

I think the reviews are up and down. For a family with picky eaters were able to get the fajitas for one and plain tacos for the other. Plenty of food for all. The fajitas made four and my husband liked his beef enchilada. The Tamal was good - Mexican style. To the viewer said drinks are expendable- they are and at everywhere we dine out. Kids loved the kids non alcoholic raspberry margarita and I liked the sangria- see pic. Atmosphere always fun- like a typical Mexican place - music and decorations. Service was good. To another review - yep kitchen mishaps happen. Got beef taco when ordered chicken. Server without question returned with a chicken Definitely will be the go to for that area if looking for indoor Mexican restaurant. read more

This is the first time I've been to that strip mall on Jensen Beach, just before the roundabout. This is a neat and clean restaurant. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The menu is simple and has a variety of options. We are a big group at lunch, and the staff did well to get all the orders right. It just took a bit longer for the food to come out! On first bite, my food tasted rather salty. Maybe it's just me. The portions are generous. The prices are reasonable. read more

Came here for dinner with some friends. I was excited since we've passed this place countless times going to Publix and had been curious to try it but unfortunately it was a big miss. We were greeted and seated right away and the service we received throughout the night was very good. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. But that's where the good ends at Cinco de Mayo. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas that came with rice and beans and I don't know how but the whole dish didn't taste like anything. It lacked any seasoning and almost felt like I was eating water if that makes sense. My boyfriend ordered the carne asada burrito and he also made the same comment about his dish not tasting like anything. I'm sorry to say but it seems this was a one time visit. read more

We had been waiting at another restaurant, but were informed the chef walked out, and Cinco De Mayo was super close by and was able to take us very quickly (even when they were about to close)! I had never heard of this restaurant, but I got a mailer from them and realized how close by they were...my fiancé loves Mexican food, so we decided to try them out for lunch last week; and we're so happy we did! Upon entering we were greeted and quickly seated...the restaurant is bright, vibrant, plays Mexican style music, and I absolutely love the backs of the chairs! They're painted, carved, and has beautiful ornate details on each one... Leonardo was our server and he exceeded all expectations! Absolutely wonderful service and attention to detail. The chips and salsa provided on the table were flavorful, fresh, and quite tasty... We ordered mojitos and they were some of the best crafted cocktails I've had in quite some time...great balance of flavors, made with care and precision, and very pretty too! I ordered the carne asada lunch portion and Leonardo offered to send out some flour tortillas to make little tacos with...such a great suggestion! Everything on my plate was well executed and so delicious! Steak was flavorful, tender, and juicy...the other components were well prepared and all tasted super fresh. My fiancé got the cheese dip burrito and wanted to try both the beef and chicken...so the kitchen prepared this enormous burrito with half on one side and half on the other...how accommodating! He absolutely loved it! We both had leftovers too! We will DEFINITELY be coming back for more and so happy to have such a lovely restaurant close to home! read more

We have tried about 11 Mexican restaurants in the area, searching for what we were used to having. This place is it!! It has been difficult to find shredded beef tacos. Most here only have hamburger. All flavors, enchilada sauce, shredded beef, rice, beans and salsa were spot on. That said I do wish they would serve warm chips made in the restaurant and pork items. Pork carnitas, and verde are a favorite and they aren't here. Despite that, we are now loyal customers. read more

Short review since Mexican food is not something I am familiar with. Service was great. We had a table guacamole where they make it at your table. I was with a party of 8 so I did not get a chance to upload the menu. Will definitely do that next time I return. $2 beers are always great. The food was good in general. The dish I had shrimps, but they are small, so for the price I don't think it was worth it. I wouldn't recommend any dish that has seafood. Stick to your basic duo chicken and steak here. Overall it was a delightful experience. Would return to try more dishes. Their menu is big so you will find something. read more

This place has the most amazing queso dip, a full bar and an extensive menu of authentic items. They give you heaps of chips and the tiniest salsa in the world. I regret having those chips with numerous salsa refills though. My food was incredible but I was too stuffed to enjoy it. The place is clean and colorful, and the service is always very good. Ate dinner at the establishment on 3/2/25. Never got my bill so I walked to the front counter and requested my bill. Server came up and I handed her my card. Started talking to the other team members and my server came back with my receipts. I filled them out and left a $15 tip and said thank you and left. Later in the evening at home , I received a text message from my credit card company at 9:37pm that my card was just used for an Amazon purchase for $58.52. I immediately looked for my card and I didn't have it. We called the establishment and told them our situation and was put on hold and then "disconnected". I immediately stopped all usage on the card and reported it stolen. The next day I went to the restaurant only to discover that they had my card and returned it to me and denied any wrong doings. My card was in their possession from 5:20pm till the next day at 11:30am. Someone used my card at this location at 9:37pm to Amazon and they aren't willing to make it right ! Beware of paying with credit cards !! Another review I read was from a gentleman whose bill was around 46$ and they charged his card 186$. So it's not just me !!! DO BETTER CINCO! Not ever going back and I will tell anyone and everyone I know what happened to me! read more

We walked in and were greeted only to be seated across from the kitchen even though the restaurant was mostly empty the night before Easter. Got chips and salsa right away then after 15 minutes of seven different employees walking passed us numerous times we were getting up to leave. A waitress came over and said she was just told this was her table. Hey, lucky us! No apology. We ordered 2 margaritas and our food then became invisible again. Another 15 minutes and a different waitress brought us margaritas with melted ice. Very pretty with a flower, orange and lime garnish but not a Cadillac drink. Strong, bitter flavor. Food was the worst! Chimichanga not crispy but soggy with an oily taste. 1/2 the usual size served with sad refried beans but fresh lettuce, tomato and sour cream. read more

As far as Mexican food goes, it's good. However, I don't think a dollop of sour cream should be an a la carte item for $1.50. It comes with some dishes but you pay extra for it with other dishes. Also, guacamole is also $1.50 for about 2 tablespoons on the side, I don't like to be nickeled-and-dimed. Service is very good, place is nice, big, and clean. read more

This used to be our favorite Mexican restaurant. But Monday, 5/2/16, that changed. We called at 8:25pm to order carry out. We were starving and needed something good. The guy I spoke to was rushing me off the phone. I was trying to order the Divorce enchiladas, but couldn't remember what they were. He just kept saying, "uh huh, uh huh". We got there 10 minutes after ordering. There were no customers in the restaurant and our food was ready. My boyfriend paid and when we got home, the food was disgusting! It did not look anything like what we have when we eat at the restaurant. Mine looked like some weird soup with tortillas. My boyfriends looked like mush. We threw it out and went to bed. 2 stars for the waiter, who took $6.50 off the bill. Had a coupon from the local entertainment book, wanted to try something new and Mexican is a favorite! Nice Sunday afternoon, a few other patrons were there, looked promising upon arrival! Presented our coupon prior to ordering and were told it was only valid M-F. We decided to stay anyway, in hopes this would be our new favorite Mexican place. Both the chicken and ground beef taco salads were bland, weird to say, but it was like we weren't eating anything!? Mentioned that the chicken taco salad was bland to the waiter, who said he would mention it to the chef. Upon return with the bill, the waiter said he gave us a 50% discount, which we were not expecting. The discount was 50% off one entree, not the bill... Bottom line, staff were nice but food was less than tasty, definitely not worth the price! Left the coupon as we won't be returning. read more

It took well over 10 minutes for the hostess to show up and take our drink orders. The hostess became our waitress. Service was slow to say the least. Our first time and surely the last. The chips and salsa were ordinary and lacked flavor. My husband ordered black bean soup which came straight from a can and he had to add the onions and cilantro. I ordered a steak salad which was horrible. Everything needed flavor. It was lacking something ... plus it was expensive for what we got. Super disappointed. Would we go back?? Never. read more
