We stop here for fresh seafood every time we are In Town. Marybeth always greets us with a smile and makes recommendations if we want them. They have the best fresh seafood, wild caught and reasonably priced. This time we got the triple tail filets to cook up. Yum!!! Also just finished a dozen Virginia oysters, so big and juicy!!! Shuck em, add some Lemon butter and parm and bake at 400 degrees 9-10 minutes!!! Yummmmm. Got their prepared meals to cook which are always delicious and scallop pieces to freeze. They say everything is wild caught. I believe that's the key to why their food is so good and fresh. I stop by every time I'm in the area before driving back home. I got salmon, shrimp and crab legs and they pack out all for you to go in ice which is super helpful since I was 2.5hrs away from home. While on our recent visit with our Massachusetts friends at their new snowbird home on Hutchinson Island, Florida I discoverd this gem. I was out on one of my pre-dawn adventures, lookng for another special sunrise, when I spotted this waterside shack with signs all around their parking lot with assorted seafood signs. The sign that caught my eye is their motto ONLY SELL WILD-CAUGHT SEAFOOD and that's my philosophy when it comes to seafood as well. Their focus is on those wild-caught fish is to provide antibiotic and chemical free seafood that naturally taste better and better for you. Established in 2008 by Capt. Clyde Westall Hensley and Brigid O'Keefe in one of the cleanest fish markets I've ever been in with a surprisingly clean and fresh smell. Capt. I love this place. I planned on making a pasta with shellfish dish, so I called ahead to make sure they had everything I needed. Right away I knew I found the right place. The initial experience over the phone was warm, friendly and reassuring. Once I arrived, I opened the door to an aroma of delicious, fresh seafood. We were attending the Pineapple Arts Festival and were searching for some place nearby for good seafood. My husband located this place on Yelp and the reviews were good. He called to make sure they served lunch and while the answer was a little vague - "We have a kitchen and a couple tables outside."- we proceeded on our way. It was an easy, scenic 15 minute walk and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. While they don't cook the seafood for your lunch, they do have fresh conch and calamari salads. Both were very fresh but we preferred the calamari as it had more flavor. We also got an order of conch fritters that were cooked but refrigerated. They offered to heat them in the microwave but we just ate them cold and they were still good. The only beverage they offer is bottled water. This is a very small seafood market. I wish they would open a restaurant with all the terrific seafood they have available. If you are looking for fresh seafood to take home this is a great place. And, as we did, you CAN have lunch but the prepared options are limited. There are two picnic tables with umbrellas out front. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed sitting outside. I bookmarked this on Yelp a while back and was in the area and decided to check them out because they carry wild fish. It's a small cute little cottage house and as you walk in everything is already prepackaged. We ordered the medium stone crabs which were amazing along with their homemade mustard dipping sauce. They were very helpful and friendly accommodating me when I asked to see the mahi, stone crabs and tuna before purchasing. We ended up with the tuna for dinner which we seared and was very fresh. They also gave me a sample of the wahoo and tuna smoked dip which we ended up with the wahoo dip to take home. They also sell premade dinners to heat up at your home, fresh oysters clams, and other fresh fish that they get in each day. We were staying at Ocean Breeze RV Resort the weekend of February 8th-February 10th. We walked to Adventure Seafood on Saturday because my spouse saw the sign when we were on our way to Ocean Breeze. WOW what an interesting, amazing, and cool couple own and operate this place. Captain Clyde and his wife Brigid are truly dedicated to their passion... seafood. Brigid makes a flavorful wahoo fish dip. We also had stone crab claws and she was so kind and cracked them for us because we told her we were at the resort. They were fresh as can be. They gave us plates, crackers, and mustard dip. When we were leaving on Sunday, we bought more stone crab claws and seafood au gratin... exquisite. She threw in a cooler bag for us with ice because we were so excited about getting more seafood we overlooked the fact that we didn't have any room in our cooler and we couldn't get into our fridge in our pop up. It is so refreshing in this day and age to experience genuine kindness and thoughtfulness. We will definitely be going back.
