My wife and I have gone into this establishment NUMEROUS times, we live 2 hours away and visit every time in clinton. First two times were good, the last three times have been so disappointing. One time we ordered the same thing as last time and it was totally different, when asked why our food didn't have the things it normally came with ( an order of nachos fajitas served with JUST nachos and chicken, the waitress was rude didn't offer to bring the peppers and onions and just said sorry but that's what you ordered) and tonight, keep in mind we ALWAYS dress up to dine anywhere we do we asked for a booth and we're told 3 hours befit closing that the section we wanted was "closed" ( yet 5 minutes later people came in without reservation and we're seated in that section) we were seated at the very first table (a table for 6) by the register, this was supposed to be an intimate dinner. We asked again to move to an open booth in the back of our section and told"No this was our waiters section" although other people seemed to get the tables they wanted. If it wasn't bad enough to ruin our romantic evening our food came AFTER 2 tables that came in AFTER us with basically the same type of food when we were served we had to wait 15 minutes for tortias. The food was BLAND and not cooked or served how fajitas should be served. To note we even ordered food to go at our initial order so we were there to eat and spend money. Our waiter who made it known this was "his section" so he would not move us came back to our table to check on us ONE TIME. Our evening was terrible and we will sadly NEVER go back. This is NOT how you treat anyone let alone people who are returning customers CLEARLY dressed up and explaining they want a little privacy for a romantic dinner. Awesome!!!! Went for lunch the day before Thanksgiving( On Nov 23) and it was great!!! My food was hot, served fast, and sooo good. Im not one for mexican but this my favorite place to go as I live 20 mins south. The salsa and chips are not too hot/ spicy and the food is just right. Love love love this place its sooo good and worth the 20 min drive...... Wish were I lived had a place like this, but sadly Im not fond of mexican here. This place rocks!!!!! read more

Horrible service staff is in a bad mood the beans were not well cooked and when we let staff know we had two waiters come and argue. when asking for them to remove the plates for a substitute they refused saying it was as is cause we wrong. After the stuff we would ask for was ignored and when asking again they were rudely handed to us. read more

The atmosphere is somewhat traditional Mexican inside. Menu is extensive, Prices are very reasonable. Chips and salsa are standard, nothing special but ok. They have drink specials depending on when you go. $3 margaritas on Tuesday. Food was good, service was good. I would definitely go back. read more

Recently totally remodeled building. What a great setting inside. Has a bar area, two separate seating areas divide by tall booths for privacy. Also has a separate banquet room. Owner also owns Ted's Restaurant in town which is another very clean restaurant in town. Mexican food similar to what you would expect at a Mexican restaurant . Took my wife here the day after our anniversary. ( she loves Mexican, I, not so much) I saw they have a cheeseburger on the kids menu. Since I wasn't really very hungry a small burger would have been fine, however, they wanted to charge an extra $2 because I didnt fit the child criteria. Seriously? Why? Same portion size? Same dish?
