Chimichangas Camino Real. They were awesome!
Abby V.

This is by far the best Mexican food in central Illinois. The salsa was great! And the queso was awesome as well! I had the Sincronizada with steak. I read another review on Yelp and it sounded good so I tried it. I was very happy with my choice. The steak was seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. My husband had the burrito loco with chicken. He said it was really good. Great service and overall a really good experience! Can't wait to go back!

Arroz con Pollo with a little extra kick!

I've been a regular at this restaurant since it opened. Love the food and the service. They always add in jalapeños to my dish whenever I ask them and they are fresh, not from a jar! I also love a place that has 4 different hot sauces sitting on the table. It gets a little packed around supper time since this place is so popular so seating may be at a premium at times.

Burrito loco was awsome you will absolutely love this place

Very good food and service. They serve the typical "Tex-Mex" found throughout the central U.S.

Had a nice lunch with friends here yesterday! We were coming in at a weird hour (3:30 on a Sunday),…read moreso, we were seated right away. The service was great, they took our order promptly, the waitress knew the menu well (I had questions about spice levels), and they checked in on us a few times. My friends got the Dirty Horchata (January special drink) and the taquitos (think this was also a special) and everything was really tasty! I got two tacos and with the chips and salsa, that was perfect. Ample parking, and I hear it does get really busy, so, expect a wait in normal mealtime hours.

Stopped in here while on a work trip. I'm only sad that i only went here once. the funny thing is…read morethat my food was just ok. The ambiance and decor are perfection. It's beautiful and fun inside the space. The people are super friendly and kind. You just want to invite them to sit down and est dinner with you! I ordered the birria ramen which ended up cold and clumpy. I said something and they were super great and replaced it for me. I also ended up ordering the churros for dessert and they were kind enough to give it to me complimentary. I tell you, excellent service brings people back faster than anything else. I'm ok that i didn't love what i ordered. I will try something else next time. The chips and salsa were also tasty- salsa is not spicy but they do have several spicy options on the tables so you can mix your own heat level as desired. I also got a raspberry lime margarita on the rocks and it was great! Solid flavor combo. Can't really go wrong with margs ever. I will tell everyone always to come here when in Bloomington!!

Authentic Mexican Flavors with a Beautiful Presentation!…read more This place serves some of the best Mexican food I've had in a while! I ordered the green enchiladas, and they were absolutely delicious--perfectly rolled tortillas filled with flavorful meat, smothered in a rich green sauce, and drizzled with crema and queso fresco. The refried beans were smooth and creamy, and the rice was fluffy with a great seasoning. The burrito was a showstopper! Stuffed with tender steak and grilled veggies, then topped with a creamy, slightly spicy sauce and fresh pico de gallo. The drizzle of crema and queso fresco gave it an extra layer of indulgence. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was very generous! Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're craving authentic Mexican food with bold flavors and beautiful plating, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back! Would highly recommend!

After reading all of the great. recommendations, my wife liked her chimichangas, especially the…read moreflavorful beef. I thought the chicken was stringy and tough but I agreed with her about the beef and the tortillas themselves were great. Neither of us liked the chips and salsa...the chips were dry and the "salsa" tasted like tomato sauce that had a little hot sauce added to it. The atmosphere was tired and, on a day when it was 100-plus outside either the air conditioning couldn't keep up or, worse, hadn't been turned on at all.
