I asked for some alterations of an intricately embroidered dress. I needed it by the following day and they did it beautifully and quick!

I don't typically leave negative reviews and generally try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience involved a consistent pattern of issues that I can't overlook. I brought in a beautiful, beaded sari choli (a fitted, structured top worn with a sari) that was several sizes too large and needed to be taken in for an upcoming wedding. During my initial visit, I tried to explain the fit I was looking for, but the staff member did not take the time to properly assess the garment. She looked at it from a distance while I was wearing it and told me it didn't need alterations, without coming over to examine the fit. Only after I asked her to take a closer look did she briefly pinch the sides and agree to take it in, while still insisting the shoulders were fine. Nothing was pinned, and when I asked if she understood how much to adjust, she simply said, "yes, I know." I later received a message that the garment was ready ahead of schedule. When I came in to pick it up, I almost didn't try it on, but I'm glad I did! The shoulders were still very loose and had not been adjusted. The sides were stitched in, bulky, and hastily done, but my primary concern was that the garment was still ill-fitting and loose. The original tailor that I encountered upon drop-off was not there and another tailor stepped in, properly assessed the fit, and pinned approximately 1 inch on each shoulder, something that should have been done correctly from the beginning. I then had to leave the garment again. The revised pickup timeline was not met, and when I called, I was told I would need to pay additional fees for work that should have been identified and completed properly the first time. During that call (with the original tailor), I was repeatedly interrupted. At one point I was told, "can I talk?" and "are you finished?" before I had completed a sentence. I responded, "No, you can't talk. I'm the customer and I'm trying to explain where this went wrong." After that, there was a pause and she gave the illusion of listening, but I was again asked, "are you done yet?" which shocked me to the core. It wasn't until I became audibly upset and tearful, that her tone changed, she became concerned. She then said, "Don't cry. I'll fix it! I need my customers to be happy," and offered to have it ready within 30 minutes. The shift in how I was treated in that moment was significant. I do want to note that my experience was not consistent across all staff. However, from a workmanship standpoint, this garment required significant size reduction. In my experience, pieces this oversized typically need to be properly reduced and reshaped, not simply taken in at the seams. The final result feels like excess fabric was left rather than fully restructured, which affects both the comfort and overall fit. The interior finishing is also rough, and the shoulder adjustments appear bulky rather than seamlessly tailored. I've included photos for reference. I chose this place based on its strong reviews, which makes this experience even more surprising. I can honestly say this ranks among the poorest customer service I've ever received. The pattern of dismissiveness, the shift in tone, and the less than acceptable craftsmanship I experienced raised concerns for me about bias in how I was treated. DO NOT USE THESE DO NOT USE THESE CLEANERS!!! HORRIBLE customer service and workmanship! I went to pick up a silk dress that they had steamed and it was still wrinkled. When I was looking more closely at it I noticed they had used safety pins to hang it up (even though it has the loops to hang it), which had left holes in the delicate material. When I pointed that out, he asked me to leave the store. When I asked for a refund he called the police on me!!!! I literally did nothing wrong except for point out the fact that the dress was still wrinkly and that they had damaged the silk. Absolutely horrible customer service, wow I am shocked!!! Is there a way to leave zero stars? Because I would. This place shouldn't even be in business. Why? Well I gave them a queen comforter. They said it would be ready in 2-3 days. It wasn't. It was NEVER ready because they lost it. I had to follow up with them on day 6 and they said "oh it'll be here tomorrow." When tomorrow (day 7) finally showed up, they didn't even call me. I called them to check and then they informed me they lost my comforter. The comforter was less than a month old and cost me $250. Oh but don't worry...they gave me a refund and a whopping $40 for my troubles. That's literally only 16% of the cost of the comforter. When I told them they needed to find it or pay for the amount of the comforter, they referred me to their "gracious" lost policy of $40. After telling them I'd write them a bad review, they threatened to not even give me the $40. Well I'll follow their own business tactic, I got the $40 and now I'm here informing y'all to NEVER GO HERE. Horrible unethical business. read more

In short: Chick-fil-a in dry cleaner form. They have the best prices in the area, amazing customer service (always remember your name, help you to your vehicle if needed, complimentary repairs little issues like a missing button, etc), and of course, clothes are cleaned and pressed as good or better than anyone else. If you're looking for a less expensive option or just moved out to Katy (like we did recently), then this is your place. read more

This place had the highest rating of any cleaners in my area. I took my uniform (US Army) to be cleaned. Not only was I greeted with a smile, but found out my items would be cleaned by the NEXT DAY, and I received 50% off for being military. I was stunned. Normally businesses discount around 10-15% for military/first responders... so 50% is highly unusual and VERY appreciated. I will come here as long as I live in this area. read more

Awesome, local small business owned dry cleaners run by two brothers. Customer service is amazing. They are very reasonable - better than those in the area, do a fantastic job, and care about your clothes. Went here the other day, my first time, and they went over all pricing for me and how they operate. Clothes are sent off-site but with someone they trust and these guys hold them to a high standard. How I know? One shirt of my husband's barely had a few wrinkles by the collar, no biggie, but they sent it back free of charge because they said it was not good enough! Awesome right?! They also worked really hard to get out an orange stain on one of my husband's white shirts which I can't even see anymore! They remembered and called me by name when I went to pick up the clothes (remember it was my first time too) and even brought my clothes to the car without me even asking. Wow. They read the label of all your items to make sure they follow the best method for your clothes and so they don't get ruined. Love that level of care. If you are active duty military, police, veterans, etc., you get a discount. Even if not though their prices are great. Check them out!!! read more
