I have never written a bad review in my life but today that changes. when i came here in august to get my nails done for my birthday the tech that did them left cuts on every single one of my fingers and gouged under my toe nails so hard that they hurt for days. even though i wasnt happy with the service i payed and tipped 20%. i vowed to never come back. today me and my best friend decided to get our nails done together after work. she swears by this place and even though i was wary of going back, i decided to give them another shot. maybe i just had a not so great tech back in august, right? so i got my toes and nails done today and the tech who did my toes did a wonderful job. no pain, barely even tickled, she took her time and payed close attention to what she was doing. however, the tech who did my nails was very careless and hardly even paying attention. she was too busy talking to the tech next to her. so much so that she lost track of what she was doing. she went to file my nails and got wrapped up in a conversation with her coworker and ended filing so hard that she left a nice deep cut on my pinky finger. i was nearly in tears from how bad it hurt. another tech came to help her file my nails and i had to tell her not to touch my pinky finger if she didn't absolutely have to. i was about to start bawling as i told her this. after my bad experience in august i went to a different salon and they did an incredible job. not a single cut and not a single wince from me. so i know it can be done. i dont know if the staff just was tired near the end of the day and got sloppy or if they really are just careless, but i highly doubt i will ever be back. 2 bad experiences back to back is a no for me. read more

Not all of the techs are good at providing service. I guess with everything else you must specifically request a regular. This is the first time that I came in and received bad service. The lady providing the service was nice, but unable to do a simple pedicure. She cut my toenails too short and rounded them. I should have told her not too cut them too short and to cut them straight across leaving them long enough so that the corners lie loosely against the skin. She also started cutting them with a cuticle clipper instead of a toe nail. I had to stop her. This was clipper. I assumed all techs knew this, but let this be a lesson to you me. Three stars given because she was nice and she really tried hard to do what I asked, but she could not. read more

I've given this salon chance after chance & each time I'm let down sadly. I had one good experience & the location is convenient for me but they continue to do a horrible job. My powder nails were lumpy & thick (if you like that look). Also they left all the materials on my skin and they are expensive. I have been going here for a couple months and never had a problem with my nail tech Leah (who no longer works there ) I had Megan once and it was alright but very very rushed. Yesterday I was with Ann and due to my experience will not be going back to this salon... I made an appointment at 4 PM with Megan for my birthday - left work early and all. Got there and they had scheduled my appointment for the wrong day - Megan doesn't even work on Tuesdays. Told them it was No biggie I can use someone else. I was there for almost three hours for a pedicure and acrylic nails. The first picture is what I asked for and the 2nd and 3rd pictures are what I got. I was told by several people they didn't have chrome (which another nail tech came up during my full set and said they did have it - I guess no one cared to actually look). She offered a dip powder that was metallic/chrome but What I got was not chrome - it was black glitter at best. I don't think she knew how to use it because I have random patches of red glitter all in my nails. I circled all the places I was cut while getting my nails done which she completely disregarded. I get up to the front and my total was $110 and I was not happy with the service I received so I asked the receptionist for a discount and showed her all my cuts and the color (and even had another technician comment on the chrome being wrong). Receptionist seemed irritated and just wanted to reschedule me to come back another day so they could fix it. Mind you I had already been here 3 hours and wasn't planning on coming back, ever. So I asked her to call the manager and she rolled her eyes and handed me her iPhone to talk to Jon instead of being professional and explaining to him what was going on and what she could do to fix it. She then went to the back before I was done talking to Jon so another lady had to come and finish checking me out - complete disregard for customer service. Jon seemed irritated he was having to deal with the issue as well, but ended up comping my nails and I only paid for my pedicure. (Which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars). Would've given this place another chance if I didn't have to deal with high school girl attitude when asking for a discount I'm rightfully owed. read more

I was expecting a lot better from reviews. Needless to say pretty disappointed. I asked for dip on all my nails, hot pink on all except for the ring finger that was clear with two lime green flowers, and i got a horrible aftermath. I had nail polish all over my fingers and she cut me on my fingers and the flowers were not done well at all. She was super nice but i was expecting a lot better and am just really disappointed that my nails look like this when i was very clear on what I wanted. read more

If I had the option to not put any stars at all I would. I had these nails for literally 2 weeks. My one nail pictured ripped up including the nail bed. They had glue the nails on so aggressively that when it had been hit that the fake nail stayed attached and ripped up my nail bed. I no longer have a nail there and can't even get the acrylic off that damaged nail. I have been in so much pain dealing with this since. I have been going here for about 3 years now. Every experience has been a great one. However, just this past week I went in to get a set with DIP powder. Never have I been upset with my service. I asked for a simple design (with a picture reference) and was very disappointed in what I received. The artwork seemed sloppy and my nail tech didn't let the nail dry before proceeding - making the colors to blend. Aside from the design, the shaping is off, the nail lengths are uneven not only to each other but on the whole hand. In addition to that, the dip powder is uneven near the cuticles. I normally go to this nail salon for their service and environment. Never had any problems...till yesterday. Yesterday, my nail tech pushed me so hard for dipped nails and I told her no I'd rather do acrylic. I speak Vietnamese and I overheard them saying there was clients at the door and they needed to hurry up. Which they proceeded to do and rushed my service. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. She left my real nails showing underneath. I've never had this problem before. I also have lint in my pinky nail which is also disappointing to look at. For this mess up, I paid $70. Pedi $30 dollars. Full set (for them to just put powder over my nails with white tips just to show my natural nail beds showing) - $40????? I still left a tip just bc she did a service even though it was horrible........called the front desk and she didn't know what to do because this has never happened before. ok sure. I literally got them done yesterday and for my natural nails to show underneath is such a bad job. Not recommending to anyone. Had to go to another nail salon bc I do not trust these people any more. My technician was Ann and I came in for basic manicure. The atmosphere of the salon was very professional and pristine. I wanted something simple for the weekend and i don't if it's because I'm young, she did a poor job on my manicure. I asked for white polish and I expected it to be well done because I'm not so great at applying nail polish myself and I'm paying $15 for this. Ann did it really quick and applied the nail polish quite roughly. There were bubbles in the polish and excess polish on the sides. At the end, she left me by her station with the fan to dry the polish. I assumed she would come back and tell me when I was done but she had already moved into her next customer. Walked in Saturday around 1130 with no appointment and didn't wait more than 5 minutes! Got the SNS nails, so far so good - I will update in a couple weeks about how well it lasts. Update: lasted great for over 3 weeks! No cracks or chips! Only grew out My Technician left a bunch of nail glue underneath my nails. It's more annoying than anything, I would just ask them to fix it before I left next time. Was charged $45 for dipping powder. I feel that's on the higher end of powder prices.
