Literally the worst nail salon I have ever been to, I am NOT one to leave reviews but they are terrible. SUPER rough, so rude, literally every nail was crooked and when she went to fix it my middle finger nail was way shorter than the rest. Someone else came to help and the other lady said "it's ok it will grow back", they were my natural nails. Less than 2 weeks and they are starting to chip (which never happens, I have been getting my nails done for years). I have been a client of Baybrook nail salon close to 8 years now. This is the type of nail salon where you can use different nail technicians and get the same awesome results. Today I used the technician, Lanie, and she was so amazing! I did a new set along with a pop of hot pink glitter. Lanie did a fantastic job and the shape was perfect! Mai does my pedicures and that woman puts me to sleep, almost every time! You won't be disappointed. One thing I want to say is if you read negative comments on this particular page, look at the person writing the negative comment and search their reviews. I came in with my mother for a pedicure. The woman who did hers did a wonderful job. Unfortunately the gentleman who did mine was hasty, rude, and not cooperative. I came back asking him to take a second look at my polish and kindly requested him to redo the paint job. I took him these pictures because I figured maybe the fluorescent lighting in the shop made it difficult to see. I did not come in fussy or upset because I thought it was a misunderstanding. Instead of listening to me, he rudely told me "You People, I know how you people are," after commenting on my race. I did not say anything except, "I'm not understanding what you mean." I am just hoping to get a nice paint job. Would you mind?" He ended up doing my nails and did a cleaner job. I said, "These look so much better!" And instead he quipped back, "Are you going to take a picture now?" I looked at him and repeated to him that I haven't been rude or impolite since I came in -unlike him. I didn't do anything to disrespect you, and to please not continue to do so to me. He put on my sandals and said, "You can leave." I left saying thank you, but I will NEVER be back. I rarely give out bad reviews but this salon was extremely disappointing. Right off the bat, one of the first things that's caught us off guard was that they polish on the french tips with nail polish. We specifically asked for 3 full sets in powder, expecting that they would have carved the acrylic tip out and laid out a different colored acrylic power for the French tips we requested. as we are all servers and often chip nail polish easily, this wasn't what we were expecting. So with that, when it was time to paint the French tip, the first two tech's couldn't draw them evenly. Both tried for 10 minutes but the shape wasn't good and poorly drawn. So I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for another tech to finish my friend's design (the one with the red set). By the time we were all done, we left the salon very dissatisfied and MESSY. Myself and my friend with the red set were cut during the filing process. My friend with the blue set was left sitting alone halfway by her first nail tech because she spoke up that the shape was bad. (See 2nd picture for initial shape of the Blue set). It wasn't until another male tech came over to fixed the botched job that the nails had a chance to come out decent. Our nails were left crooked, thick, and messy. I would not suggest this place to someone that's used to having long and more detailed nails. Overall, the only positive experience from this was our pedicures. Oh, and they give you 2 old and USED nail files to bring back for every visit so they don't have to use new ones on you, that they charge you $1 for at checkout. Yeah, read that again lol. I used to come all the time to get a manicure, pedicure and eyebrows done but every time I go there the staff is not happy and I don't know why I am nice and try not to be complicated and they always be rushing . staff is very rude & unprofessional.I left more stressed than relaxed. They seemed to get upset when I asked for an express pedicure and didn't budge when they were persistent about getting a deluxe. When the lady asked me what shape of nail I wanted, I asked for almond shape and she laughed at me, talked to her coworker, and turned back around to let me know it cannot be done because my nail was too short. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here with a group of people and we were all worked on by different people. All of our nails were horrible. When I pointed out flaws on my nails they insisted on fixing it and when I allowed them to, they continued to cut me. I have more than five cuts on my finger nails as well as my toe nails. I don't like to leave bad reviews because I know how they can hurt a business. I usually try to get my issue fixed with the venue. My shellac manicure was lumpy and looked bad. One hand was fine the other was awful. I asked them to fix it and they did- but first the owner guy tells me that I rubbed it snd I did this and that- doesn't even apologize! Then he becomes upset because I didn't bring my nail file. I've never had an issue with this place and I would have been fine if they would have just said "sorry" and fixed it. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for several years. I followed Lisa and Lynn from a salon that closed at the Baybrook Mall. I always have a great experience with both of them. For over a year, I have scheduled my pedi and mani appointments with Lynn (because Lisa had to go out-of-state). Lynn is very accommodating. She is very professional and thorough. I love the pedi chairs because the massaging aspects help me relax. I get the powder and do French on my fingernails. I've been going to get my eyelashes done for years because I honestly have not taken the time to find another lash tech. My lashes would typically last for only 2 weeks forcing me to get another full set not refill. Moving forward the last time my lashes actually lasted for 4 weeks and I came for a refill. After my refill I was charged for a full set that's double the cost of a refill but I didn't receive a full set or communication prior to starting the service. I was informed at payment time that if I wait for 4 weeks that I'll be charged double. I simply responded that I wish I was told prior to receiving the service and Nicky the lash tech began screaming. I kindly asked to please lower voice and still paid the unexpected price along with 30% tip as I've always done. I explained that I only wish I was informed. The lash tech continue to be unprofessional and carried on. At a later date I asked to speak to the manager and the tech stated she is the manager however it was a young man that was managing. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. The absolute WORST nail salon I have ever been to. I wanted to go get a full set done and I walked in and they did not even give me a second to look at their color choices instead they made me sit down and gave me a little book with about 20 options. Then the lady begins to look at my nails and get her box of fake nails out and used the fake nail to rip my nail off really aggressively. She did it without a care in the world and of course she ripped my nail off so hard that I started bleeding and she didn't even notice until I said something! She still continued to rip off my nails that same way and of course made another nail bleed. Then everyone gathered around to see what happened as if there was a show. She then got up and said she had another appointment and someone else was going to take care of me. Keep in mind it has already been 30 minutes and only 3 of my nails have been removed. Then another lady comes and continues working on my nails she drills my nails down and soaks them in acetone AS IT SHOULD'VE BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING! But then she gets to my two nails that have been bleeding for the past 20 minutes and starts drilling my non existent nail down (basically my skin) and I am furious at this point. she basically gives up and just glues down the nail as is. Then she went to grab the color I picked which was a jade green and comes back with a nude pink and wanted to argue that I picked that color not the green. I told her to grab the book and to swatch the color she bought next to the color I picked. It was obviously the wrong color, then the manager comes up and requests I pick a different color. I picked a different color and she gets to work on my full set finally a whole hour later. My nail shape looks terrible because she didn't take off my previous set completely since I was bleeding so much. There was another woman sitting across from me getting a pedicure done but she had been there before me and towards the end she was also very frustrated because she had been waiting there and they were still working on just one thing. So they really do offer the WORST SERVICE TO EVERYONE.The whole process took 2 hours just for a full set and I left with 2 bloody nails, not my color choice, and a horrible experience. As I get to the counter she tells me that she took off $10 for me since they didn't do a great job taking my nails off but charged me $45 and when I called before showing up to the nail place they said all basic full sets are $35. This place is honestly such a scam I would not recommend to anyone. HONESTLY HANDS DOWN THE WORST RATED NAIL SALON IN HOUSTON. read more

Horrible experience! I came on my only day off to get my nails done for a wedding out of town and they completely messed up my nails. The shellac was a mess, not sure if it was old or what but it looked like melted crayons. She put on like four layers trying to make it look better and it kept getting worse. I finally told them just to take it off and I would have to go somewhere else to get my nails done. They used regular polish on my nails and that came out awful too. So now I've lost two hours of my life and I still don't have my nails done! Then she charged me $43 for services provided!!! I need to invoice them for my time wasted. They charged me $43 and offered me a $25 gift certificate to come back!!! Save your money and go somewhere else. They also blamed me saying that it was my fault for the color I chose. read more

When I came in, everyone was working with someone. No big. They drew water, and I climbed up in the chair. 30 minutes later, sitting in complete silence, my water had gone cold. When I asked for a towel so I could leave, he insisted I stay and that the lady was coming as soon as she could. 5 minutes later she came in and put on latex gloves. When I told her I was allergic, she didn't understand. I tried other employees, trying to explain that they couldn't use those (this was my fault..
