The quality of work is top notch, the fence is beautiful and was built on-site, they didn't use the prefabed panels from home depot or lowes. They then offered a small discount for the inconvenience, so I gave them another chance. Right before their arrival, I was told I needed to pay via Zelle or cash, which I'm not comfortable with. I said I'd only pay by credit card. They said they were having problems sending invoices but could take PayPal--fine. Then, minutes later, I received another text saying I needed to pay in advance. Why would I prepay a company that has already cancelled on me three times? When I refused, I got rude and threatening texts. Apparently, rearranging my schedule 3 times to accommodate their no-shows isn't understanding enough. Bottom line: completely unprofessional and not worth your time or stress.

For any future work I need done to my house, Oakhurst Contractors will be my first call b/c they know what they are good at & wont take a job that they cannot do well. What I do know if that supposedly they would rams by their work. Less than a year later, I noticed some of the pavers floating in heavy rain and that the drain line is pitched the wrong direction and basically dumps water into my garage and collects and pools on the opposite end that it's supposed to flow. I called Ed and he told me he would come to take a look, he asked me to text him the address again and send pics. I did both, Ed never came. I called again two weeks later and he said the same thing to text him. I did, again no show. Now Ed won't respond to texts and won't return my calls. He does a soft wash, not the "Chuck in a Truck" high water pressure technique that strips away all your high gloss glaze finish, and 3. He shows up on time, does quality work at a steady pace, and cleans up everything before leaving for the day... and he's a really nice person, as well. The roof looked so great, we had him clean and paint both of our concrete side property walls, then the pool deck. He's also very reasonable on his cost so the wallet shock was kept to a minimum. We'll have him back to paint the entire house sometime next year. Six stars for sure.
