Junk everywhere; open boxes partially emptied, random items propped on chairs rendering them unusable. Dust on every surface. Across the back, a giant black cloth tacked to the wall with random racks. Looks like a school bulletin board that's just being started. They apparently have musicians some nights and all the musical equipment is pushed against the wall. There's a large cushioned seat with an enormous banner filled up on to it, so no one could sit on it. I can't have caffeine because of a heart condition. The owners insist that their coffee is "naturally low in caffeine" and has "half the caffeine of most decaffeinated coffee". So I foolishly had a cup and suffered with palpitations for several days. A caffeine sensitive friend had a similar experience. We had bagels and they were just meh, nothing special. So I'll probably never eat there again and won't have their coffee (caffeine) but we'll probably buy the coffee for my husband and other friends. It's very good.

A&E recently underwent a rebrand in the past couple of months, so the old signage is still up on the building. I ended up buying a tin of whole bean for a secret Santa gift. As a bonus, it actually came with a free cup of coffee. As luck would have its they had just brewed a fresh batch of the same stuff I was buying. The staff was very helpful in answering the questions I had about their products. Overall, a great experience. I need to go back and try some more of their stuff.

What a great idea! This store, although small, packs in an impressive array of K-Cups for shoppers to buy individually ($0.55 each as of 2/2010), in a 24-ct box ($11.45 each as of $2/2010), or a case of 4 24-ct. boxes ($45.50 as of 2/2010). They have a relatively good sampling of coffees from Green Mountain, Emeril's, Timothy's, Gloria Jeans, Coffee People, Tully's and a host of teas. They have boxes already open for you to grab individual K-Cups so you can try something before you buy it. The staff is exceptionally helpful and there to answer any questions you may have or provide some recommendations if you like. You can also brew a cup right in their storefront so you know immediately whether you like something or not. I highly recommend them!
