Well, Cindy's Hot Shots is the place! My friend who strives to become more proficient with her Sig .380, scheduled a range date and I was thoroughly impressed with Cindy's. There was a small wait, but just like at restaurants, they took her cell number and texted her when they were ready for us. As far as the indoor ranges go that I've patronized in the past, this one is state of the art. Very easy to change target distances, which made our shooting experience the best it could be. I purchased a P365 .380 Rose Sig Sauer (girly, but will still put in that work!) two years ago, and since then, I have fell in love with the gun range. My big bro was my instructor that taught me all about proper fire arm safety and handling. Since I have had my license, I try to frequent the range as much as I can. Cindy's is clean and quite large. The staff are professional and helpful. They sell everything from ammo, various firearms, etc. On the weekends, they can be very busy; however, if you're a member, you can call beforehand and get on the waiting list. I had an AMAZING time at Cindy's on my bday and I would totally recommend my firearm instructor Allen and the whole Cindy's staff that was there on April 4th to anyone within driving distance of this place! My homegirls and I took an hr long lesson learning proper firearm handling/shooting and target practice and had a ball. I shot a 9mm and an AK and I'm already planning my next trip to do it again! The facility is clean, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the other patrons are just as welcoming and informative. It's a quaint little community there that's so dope. read more

Cindy's Hit Shots is a good range for target practice, training, and learning. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive. They do offer several new and used firearms along accessories for purchase. I encourage you to meet with West, Kevin, Chris, or Tim, if you have any questions. Depending on when you visit there could be a lengthy wait time for a lane. You do have a max distance of 25 yards to shoot which is plenty for pistol work. You may shoot rifles here, just see the staff for caliber limitations and ammo restrictions. I've elected to not photograph the interior of the building considering it's an ideal target for thieves looking for an opportunity. read more

TLDR: Top-notch range with excellent staff, solid pricing, and great membership perks. No online lane reservations (yet), but still my go-to spot for training and practice. I've been coming to Cindy's Hot Shots for over two years now, both for training/licensing with JW Firearms Training and regular range time and I honestly can't say enough good things. The staff here are some of the best I've encountered in the firearm world. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and always professional. It's sadly rare to find a range with this level of service and atmosphere. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The range lanes are solid, and the on-site gun store is reasonably priced with a good selection. Membership fees are more than fair, and come with great perks like store discounts and reduced transfer fees. If I had one thing to ask for, it would be for online lane reservations. It's currently phone-in only, which works fine, but online booking would be a nice upgrade. All in all, this is hands-down one of the best ranges in the state. Whether you're new to shooting or experienced, Cindy's is a great place to shoot, learn, and be part of a great community. read more

my son and were bored Saturday morning he asked me if we could go to the range I said sure no problem called Cindy's asked how old he needed to be so he could shoot at the establishment they told me 10 years old OK cool we head there from 45 min away put our names in wait the 2 an a half hours till they call us just to find out now he has to be 12 years old to shoot complete bs maybe everybody could get on the same page so people don't waste there time that would be great read more

I am writing this review regarding the HGP training. While the training itself was fine, I am extremely disappointed that at no point was it communicated that individuals with an honorable military discharge are exempt from this requirement. I have now paid for this course twice -- once for the initial training in Glen Burnie and again for the renewal in Severn -- and neither time was this important information disclosed. It feels like a complete waste of money, especially since I only found out about the exemption directly from MSP. Had this been made clear upfront, I would have never enrolled. The only way to make this right would be to issue a full refund. Thank you for your understanding. read more

Cindy's Hot Shots is definitely a step up from the former business located there known as On Target. They renovated the range and modernized it with electronic control pads for the targets. The one downside is that it gets incredibly crowded on weekends with wait times up to two hours if you are not a member. If you are a member, you can call ahead and get in quicker. I would like to give a shoutout to Jordan for cleaning my firearm even when the range was still busy. He went above and beyond in customer service. read more
