I had a pedicure done here. Best leg massage ever! However, the woman working on my feet used an instrument to shave off my calloused heels and she was way too rough. She cut me 3 times. the worst was a chunk of skin taken off from my soft tissue above my heel. I had my pedicure done before going on a vacation that involves a lot of walking. I've had to wear bandaids and antibiotic ointment the whole time and my wounds keep bleeding and are uncomfortable. read more

Very clean. Everyone here is always so nice and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. Be prepared to find parking on the street or across the way off Pond St there is a public lot that is a short walk away. I have been coming here for years with my Mother and Nana. We bring my whole family when they come down for the summer and the owner Haan and her daughter Tee (I believe I am spelling those correctly) are always super accommodating, friendly to talk with and do an exceptional job. NO NO NO. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER. Go anywhere else on Beverly. I can't even believe how many good reviews this place got. I paid 25.00 for shellac which is pretty standard but I haven't received such a crappy manicure ever before. Shellac should be smooth and flat and shinny, not this one!! There's bumps all around it, tons of dots in the polish, I have more paint on my skin than on my nails. So disappointed and pissed that I have to I tomorrow to take this off. What a waste. Maybe they're better at regular polish but this was a disaster. Try Hawaii nails or Kim's in north beverly because this place is no good. All set, never again. read more

I'm here in Beverly for a work trip and had a spare couple of hours to kill. I looked down at my feet and realized I had some work to do. Did a Yelp search and found that Cindy's was close to where my meeting was taking place and called to ensure I could get a walk-in appointment. I could and headed right over. "T" was my esthetician and she did a marvelous job! Not only was she totally great to talk to, she ensured that my massage was fantastic, calluses were gone, and the color was applied perfectly. I have NEVER had an issue with this business or the people working there. They have been nothing but consistently pleasant and accommodating to myself and everyone I've ever brought there or referred to them. The negative reviews on here are most likely left by the kind of people who just like to yell and make themselves look like monsters in public on the regular. I've seen this kind of person come into Cindy's Nails just to yell at the owner of the business for over 10 minutes, simply because they don't know how to take care of their own nails between appointments. Somehow the owner is always nice and never raises her voice. She tries to reason with the clearly unreasonable, but that just shows what a great person she is and how much she really cares about her business. I have been going to Cindy's Nails exclusively for about 8 years now. They have earned my business and proven themselves to be very customer focused people time and time again. I've gotten my nails done with regular polish, shellac, and acrylic. Now I do the dip nails that they recently started offering, and I'm more in love than ever with my nails! They're VERY flexible with making appointments and they're forgiving when you have to reschedule because life happens sometimes. I am admittedly a perfectionist when it comes to my nails. So much so that I'm almost never completely satisfied when I leave the salon. I'm the one goes home and breaks out the nail file to fix any minute details. HOWEVER.....Hang (pronounced Han) put on a full set of gels for me today which are seriously THE best nails I've EVER had. Hang took her time making sure each nail was perfect from every angle, she even trimmed my cuticles! Not only is she super-skilled, she is very gentle with the dremel taking care not to mark any of my nails. Best of all, she is very friendly and such a pleasure to talk to!!! This is my new nail spot, without a doubt. If you're looking to walk out of a nail salon thinking "wow, what an awesome job!" then you should visit Hang at Cindy's!!!!! read more

While I had a positive experience with (the friendly and efficient) Kim for both mani and pedi, it was a disaster for having eyebrows waxed. The owner (Naan) is the only one 'experienced' to do this - and she needs a lot more lessons. She ruined my brows prompting me to go to another shop for repair. When I called to complain - in a very reasonable tone - she said she 'was scared to do eyebrows.' No, I did not need to hear that especially after the fact. She offered a refund which I accepted - when I went to pick it up, she thrust it at me without a word, obviously angry. Definitely will not return there for any services (found a better place) and cannot recommend. It wouldn't hurt for them to clean the shop up - dust everywhere, no wiping down of the areas where you dry your nails, torn facecloths for washing, the door and windows are messy. Good luck finding parking while construction underway. read more
