I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Also, with it being in Ballard, there are a ton of cool, hipster shops to browse while you're in the area.

Subsequently, I lost some interest since I don't live nearby. While I was in Ballard on a recent Sunday, I rushed to the market to see if it was still open. Officially, it was not; they closed at 2pm. But they were still packing up. I believe they are not allowed to sell after the official closing time; I asked one vendor, they declined. The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.

She uses Fusion Mineral paints on her furniture and sells pieces she refinishes so beautifully. Store is crowded so I opt not to take my kids in with me but we did have a toddler with us on the weekend and I just held him for my friend while she shopped. We also got two if there huge flavored rice crispy treats and boy did they not disappoint (banana pudding and confetti) would definitely recommend! We didn't get any of these BUT also there selection of meets was top notch! Oh and both of the gals working had amazing costumer service and were just overall very fun to talk to. Which added quite the value and impact on our visit. Thanks again! We can't wait to stop in again soon!
