Alina who answered the phone and greeted us when we walked in and checked us out was so welcoming. I've come into cinema vet about 5-6 times now, called at least 20 times and every visit is pleasant! This is my first puppy I'm raising and Dr. Wheelbarger & Gabby the receptionist are SUPER helpful and seem like they enjoy their jobs! Gabby almost always answers and she has such a nice personality. She always answers honestly and tried to get someone to help me right then if she can't answer it for me. Dr. Wheelbarger has a lot of energy which is refreshing! Many people in any medical field I feel are weird and distant people haha! Anyways, she does talk a bit fast but that's no worry. Definitely recommend this place! Prices: I can't REALLY compare, I first called around to a few vets before choosing Cinema. They're fairly priced I believe, office visits about $45 and vaccinations from $10-25 depending what you're doing. We've gotten some Tresaderm prescribed which was about $70 or so but I found Zymox works great too (about $17) and was also recommended. One thing I love: I've called a few times distressed (I'm a new pet owner) and they always ask what happened, her condition, etc THEN tell me to either bring her in if I need too and continue to monitor her behavior. It's like going to the auto shop: the guy tells you things are wrong with the car but they don't change the oil or change the part or just overcharge because you have no idea what he's talking about in the first place. Happened to me twice... They don't tell you to come in for nothing and obviously aren't after your money. Genuine recommendations for safe over the counter items, no deception from the staff or Dr which I appreciate.. Thank you Cinema! read more

On June 2, I called Cinema Veterinary Centre because I believed my dog had a UTI. Having been a client for a couple of years, I assumed that we were well established. Unfortunately, not. The soonest that my dog could be seen by the veterinarian, Dr. Jaimie Ronchetto or any veterinarian there was going to be mid-July!!! I asked the receptionist if she thought that that type of service would be acceptable for her dog. She recommended that I try an urgent care facility. We will not be returning or recommending Cinema Veterinary Centre to anyone. read more

They are the sweetest and kindest, most reliable vet Ive ever been to, I've taken all my exotics here (rats and hedgehog) I've been happy with my experience every single time. The exotics vet (Dr. Wheelbarger) is one of the best vets I've ever taken my pets to, she's so so kind and considerate and what I especially appreciate is she's extremely realistic and honest with you. A lot of vets will try to get you to spend loads and make you feel bad if you cant, she is so so understanding of financial situations and keeps you updated constantly and always gets approval as well as gives alternative options. I recently lost my hedgehog sadly and she called to apologize for my loss and even let me return some of the unused meds (unopened from the packaging so no worries about any cross contamination or anything like that!) as I had spent so much on my hogs treatment already. My first bunny was seen by Dr. Wheelbarger and she was very thorough with assessing, evaluating, and treating. That's why I decided to take my new bunnies to CinemaVet because they started having health issues. My bunny started to have balance problems and blood in urine. He was seen by Dr. Rochetto and spent almost $400 on bloodwork and antibiotics. She had called me and reported his bloodwork came back normal and just to complete the ATB. Two weeks we had to rush our poor little bunny to an urgent care. He ended up passing over there. Urgent care vet questioned why he wasn't started in E.cuniculi treatment when he had all the symptoms, and why Dr. Rochetto did not immediately ask for a stool sample. Spent all that money just for our poor little bun to suffer and die of E.Cuniculi. May be this place is more suitable for dogs and cats but I do not recommend taking your bunnies here. Maybe my bunny's fate would have been different if he was seen by Dr. Wheelbarger, but it's too late now. They even charged $12 for PPE that they wore. They didn't even offer PPE for us. THE BEST. My family and I have been to multiple vets throughout the years and no one is better than Dr Ronchetto and her staff. They truly love your pet and take the best care. They are also very sensitive to people's financial situation. Anytime my dog has needed treatment, they have come in with multiple options: a more conservative option, more aggressive and one in between. I love that I have never felt pressured into doing expensive tests- it is up to us completely. My dog is 3 now and has been mostly healthy, but we lost our previous pup in 2020 at 13 years old so have been with cinema since the beginning. That dog had a multitude of health issues over the course of many years and Dr Ronchetto 100% saved her life multiple times- the first time when she was only 6 so she gave us 7 more years with her! And when it was time, she helped us make that decision and was there to cry with us when she left. There really isn't anything else you could want in a vet clinic. read more

My mom loves bringing the pups here, we have two miniature dachshunds and this is the only place they have been. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. I couldn't get an appt at my regular vet for several days, so I made an appt at Cinema Vet. Told Dr. Hancock I only wanted one thing: 1 x-ray of my cat's HIP because his limping was worse. I'd already gotten 3 x-rays & bloodwork done 3 mos ago at my regular vet and knew very well what his situation was (degenerative bones). She said 3 times well if his x-rays & bloodwork were done over a year ago, we should do them again. I repeated 3 times that they were all done earlier this year. She tried to get the tech to have me sign for meds (which I told the tech I already had at home), an expensive liquid pain shot that he would have to get 1x/month for the rest of his life that I said no to several times, x-rays, and bloodwork. I wouldn't sign for any of that. Just ONE HIP x-ray. Dr. H took my cat out of the room, came back and said she took an x-ray of his BACK. Not his hip, because she disregarded everything I said and decided he might have a nerve impingement from his back going to his leg. I already know, and my regular vet already knows, what his situation is and she wouldn't listen. She wanted to do what she wanted to do. I told her I wasted my time coming in. Luckily the x-ray of his back showed most of his legs, too, so I could actually see the hip I wanted to check. Dr. H needs to be more respectful and listen to the pet owners. They know their pet. I just want to say how sick and tired I am of veterinary medicine being turned into some money making exercise. I called cinema vet where we have been going for the past few years. They wanted to charge me $65 because it was a walk in. I'm just infuriated at these people. I've never will go back there again. After all the years we've been going there. What a perfect way to take advantage of a pet parent just because they need care without an appointment. They had plenty of time to fit me in and it wasn't a problem but I had to pay an extra fee. Just last month I went in here with my dog who had an ear infection. The vet wanted to look at her ears. She said that she wanted to clean them a little bit so she could see better. What do you know when I checked out they charged me $35 to clean her ears and apparently look at the debris under a microscope. One Can't just charge people things like this. If you're going to do something that cost extra money then you need to make sure that it is OK. I was able to get it removed from my bill. This is the kind of thing where I feel like I am being nickel and dimes to death. Then they wanted to see her again in 10 days for another vet fee!!! Headed to Saugus Animal Hospital. I am at the Saugus veterinary clinic off bouquet Canyon. We are being seen by the vet here who is giving poppet some antibiotics for her ears. We had to bring her in tonight because it just was too bad to wait till tomorrow and as I said, cinema wanted $65 to see the vet. He told me to use the medicine and come back in 10 days and that they would be NO CHARGE for the follow-up visit. Now this is what I'm talking about... This is amazing service. More concern for the animal than the wallet! So disappointed bc I really liked Erin at the desk. Always so helpful to me. read more

I love this office! I have a highly-enthusiastic pibble rescue, "Buster". He's a handful, but he's a lover through and through. The staff is GREAT with him, and performs miracles in handling him, even going so far as to lie on the floor with him and put their head on his chest to calm him when he gets his nails cut. Amazing! The entire staff makes you feel like your dog is the only dog there, and they love them like their own. Medically, they are really on top of things, too. I've had to bring one of my dogs in for an emergency, and they were readily available. Buster had some bad bloodwork and the vet emailed me and called me to let me know how he was progressing through treatment. I can't say enough good things about this facility! I'm really trying to like this place, if you just take your dog in for vaccinations you can't go in. They take the dog away from you and you just have to wait. I like being with my dog when they get their shots to comfort them. No paper receipt when paying? You have to wait for them to email you! If I give you 70 bucks cash please give me a receipt. A few months ago I took my elderly dog who I could tell was not feeling well. Paid to have blood work up and was told for his age his body organs were amazing and he was cleared to take prescription pill for arthritis and aging bones- on day three of the pills he dropped dead. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Cinema Vet! We have 4 dogs, and have been to a handful of vets out here in the SCV, and were never happy with any of them. I was referred to Cinema Vet and Dr. Ronchetto and figured this place would be just like every other vet out here, but I WAS WRONG!! From the very first visit, I noticed the staff was so friendly and gentle, and you can tell that they really love animals. Just the way they greet them made my dogs feel so calm and made the visits so relaxing. Another thing I love about them is that whenever my dogs had any issues, even as small as an ear infection, the staff would call and follow up and ask how my dog was doing! That just shows how much they really care about your pet. No one else ever did that. I also love that Dr. Ronchetto is honest. One of my dogs has a tumor, and most vets would suggest removing it to make money, but she said there is no need to. I love that I can trust her opinion, and she isn't just out to make a buck. The prices are so fair, the location is central to town, the facility is clean and the staff is super friendly! If you are looking for a new vet, this is it! This is by far the best veterinary clinic I've ever been too! The customer service is on point and the staff is very accommodating and genuine. The vets themselves are fabulous women, but what I enjoyed most was how thorough and simple everything was broken down and explained. Never once did I feel lost or confused. It's a great price to feel comfortable and safe that your pets are in great hands. The clinic itself is kept incredibly clean, the rooms are comfortable while waiting for the vet, and most of all the animals seemed happy walking in and out. Let's not forget the donation box for blankets and toys that are given to our local shelters to help keep the less fortunate ones warm through our cold nights. Fantastic experience here. I have no complaints at all whatsoever. Came in with my new pup and got started on my paperwork which was thorough without being annoying. I handed over the paperwork from her foster parents' vet so they could make copies of that too. We were immediately brought to our room and seen by a vet tech (sorry if that's not the right term!) who was very sweet. My dog loved her and it was obviously she was dog AND human friendly. :) She handled the basics as expected. Then the vet came in. She sat right on the floor with my dog. Both of them were just wonderful. She got treats afterward for being such a good patient of course! I told them I was concerned about too many vaccinations and they agreed. So we spaced her shots out she was due for and we'll be back soon to finish. They were also really great about explaining the different medication options to this new pet parent. I've never been here before and found out from Everything For Pets in SCV that Dr. Wheelbarger treated box turtles! Some shell issues on our 25 year old and she was very knowledgeable! Just wanted to compliment the staff during a curbside visit for my bunny. Everyone who helped me including Gabby, Katy, Alison and Dr. Wheelbarger were all very pleasant which is typical of this clinic. I also wanted to mention I greatly appreciated how Alison mentioned the wrap around my bunny's foot following a blood draw. Even though I was aware of it since she has had past blood draws, it was very nice to get instruction on how long to leave it on and the best way to remove it. The first time my bunny had a blood draw, I found out about the wrap on my own so I had to call to ask about it.
