Bailey is back for more TLC at the best veterinary group in town! Great doctors, great techs, and friendly, efficient staff!

After trying two other vet offices in SCV, I FINALLY feel like my lil pup's problems are not just being attended to immediately, but also in the long run. Our dog has been having tummy flare ups on and off for almost two years, with no long-term plan for quite sometime. I explained our situation of previous vet visits and lack of treatment/long term care and I can tell both the assistant (I think her name is Cate) and the vet Dr. Hancock really LISTENED. Both were so kind and helpful -- Dr. Hancock even calls her patients "kids" and I absolutely love it. We actually have a diagnosis for the first time of this going on. Previous vets have told us "he's just stressed" and send us home because it's "not that bad." Today we agreed on a path to solve his problem ASAP and talked about preventatives, what to do when it happens again, and if it doesn't get better, some next steps down the road. She reassured my very stressed feelings but also explained how his issue isn't anywhere near what it could be (ultrasounds, scopes, etc.) -- so nice to hear from a professional that what I'm imagining as the worst case scenario is not happening, and even though his issue isn't an emergency, I could tell she wanted him to get better urgently and that it is an issue that needs to be solved. The meds they gave me were for two weeks but they helped me get the prescription for a year if we need it. There was no judgement, no pushing treatments or meds that weren't necessary at the moment. Just professionalism and kindness. My dog was anxious and loud the entire time and they were SO accommodating to him. The rooms are very clean! There is no waiting room and you just call in when you arrive; they come and grab you when a room is available--I prefer this method SO much since I know my dog would just go nuts seeing other animals. I thought it was all very reasonably priced -- especially after recently spending nearly a thousand at another office for care that made him worse. I hope we don't have to go back in anytime soon but if we do, I know he'll be treated so well. We're going to bring our sweet kitty here now as well. Thank you, Cinema!!!

By far the best vet office in town! I've got an older maltese so we're at the vet a little more often these days. Everyone at this office, the receptionist, vet techs, and vets are all very nice. Their prices are reasonable and the staff are all knowledgeable and go out of their way to make you and your pet comfortable with their treatment. I would highly recommend this place!

This post is long overdue! I don't often leave Yelp reviews but these ladies are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I'm just so sorry it took me so long to take the time to write a review. I have been coming to Cinema Veterinary Centre since Dr. Ronchetto opened in 2012. I followed her from Happy Vets. Quite simply I have always received the very best care from her and her amazing staff. Over the past 10 years we have had many visits for many pets from dogs, cats and Guinea pigs and we have always received top notch care! I have also seen Dr. Wheelbarger and she's equally knowledgeable and wonderful. I have cried with these ladies after the loss of very elderly pets and laughed together when I ask to pick their brains about animal care. I truly love all the ladies in this practice. My review wouldn't be complete without a shout out to Krysti & Sherri. These ladies are always so kind and caring. Over the years I have been lucky enough to deal with them and they are always so helpful. I believe the Doctors that run this practice make sure they employ the very best kind of people who care and love animals. Thank you ladies for being such good people who provide the very best possible care to our loving pets. I know I'm in good hands with this practice and am absolutely a client for life. Seriously can't praise each and everyone of them enough! I love them all!

I give this vet a zero and this is why. I went to her for the 1st time and was clear I was looking for a good vet in this area and still haven't found one. I brought both my boxers in for exams and my Buddy had a growth - MCT by his arm pit. They took his blood and never said anything to me about how bad it was nor did they call to go over it. They wanted to remove the mass but I thought about it and I use Tagemrnt and Benedryl for MCT and it always dissolves them plus works on the insides. Meanwhile, I was focusing on that and still never heard about his blood work and I called. They sent me the file and I looked at it and saw red red red - high high high low low and I got very concerned and worried , I called her and I ASKED her " What is wrong with my dog" the DR said " I DONT KNOW, let's get rid of the mass and go from there !! SO THATS WHAT I DID'!! Months went by without thinking anything else could be wrong with him and how wrong I was! She thought it was cushings, or the mass, or ...and never told me when I clearly asked OR even suggested we should do further testing etc He wound up getting very sick 1st week of March and was scrambling at vets for 3 weeks. He fell over in my backyard and died 1 hour later!!!! Every vet that looked at his blood panel said" that's his liver" and definitely says I had a horrible experience and she should of absolutely of ordered testing, ultrasound and gotten to the bottom of it . Especially since she knew I was treating my dog myself . Just ignoring him is what happened and he suffered !!!! I'm beyond devastated and PISSED because I took him to find a good doctor to help him in his senior years !!! He was 10 and died 11. Not at all what he deserved or what I went there for !! I hope this story helps others ... Rest my boy and I'm so very sorry

Waiting for Dr. Wheelbarger, exotic avian specialist! 3

Because she has had a…read moreheart murmur since she was a puppy, the veterinarian appropriately advised that she would not be sedated without first having an echocardiogram. We appreciated that level of caution. We were told a mobile echocardiogram service could be scheduled through their office for $660, which we agreed to. Our appointment window was scheduled between 9:00-11:00 a.m., and we were instructed to drop our dog off at 8:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the mobile echocardiogram veterinarian did not arrive until approximately 1:00 p.m., meaning our dog was kenneled for several unnecessary hours. After the echocardiogram, we were told our dog had mitral valve insufficiency and were advised to seek clearance from a cardiologist prior to anesthesia. We scheduled a consultation with a cardiologist, who expressed concern that this diagnosis would be highly unusual for a 2-year-old Rottweiler. Although we had just paid for an echocardiogram, she recommended repeating the study. She also mentioned she had encountered prior cases in which reports from this same mobile provider were inaccurate. The repeat echocardiogram revealed a completely different diagnosis: subaortic stenosis -- not mitral valve insufficiency. When we contacted Little Paws to discuss this discrepancy, we were told that "this is just how it works" and that different providers may "see different things." We found this response dismissive and concerning. While minor interpretation differences can occur, a completely different cardiac diagnosis significantly impacts medical management, anesthesia planning, and long-term prognosis. We understand that medicine is not always black and white; however, we feel strongly that complex cardiac diagnostics should be referred directly to a board-certified cardiologist if they are going to offer in-house mobile echocardiograms without ensuring diagnostic accuracy. It has raised serious concerns and resulted in unnecessary expense, stress, and delay in proper care for our dog. We will no longer be getting our dog spayed there and would not recommend Little Paws to friends or family.

Backstory: one of my dogs woke up on a Friday unable to open his eye, which quickly turned into an infection and I spent 2 days trying to find a vet / urgent care to take him to near my home in North Hollywood. Every hospital in LA that I called, I was either met with an immediate "hello, please hold" (for 20 minutes), capacity already met, an absurd wait time with no promise of being seen, or unsympathetic staff saying "an eye infection is not an emergency". I called SC Animal Urgent Care & Wellness Center at 7:08pm on a SUNDAY, arrived at 7:45pm and was seen by Dr. Mousa by 7:55pm! From the second the receptionist answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. She was extremely compassionate & quickly took my information, along with my dogs symptoms and told me to come right in to be seen by Dr. Mousa. Dr. Mousa is a GOD SEND!!! I am so blessed to have found him. Dr. Mousa examined & handled my dog with so much care and explained that he had an corneal ulcer which was quickly deteriorating his cornea and that if I had not brought him in immediately, he would have lost his eye (which was still a possibility at that point due to the 2 day wait trying to find a vet/hospital). Dr. Mousa's urgency along with his care, compassion and knowledge is the type of service you expect and deserve when you go to a hospital concerned, stressed and scared for your dog. Lexi (vet assistant) is phenomenal & so sweet!!! Lexi treated my dog like he was her own and she explained every step of what was happening and why, then what would be next. She even shared a story about her cat with me to show how she related to me in that moment. They are an amazing team and will give your pets the best car!

Explained it thoroughly and he just stayed and talked us through everything. He even stayed around and talked about Travis's brother, who came with us. He truly cares about his patients and their owners, which I was not expecting. I feel as if we're always rushed and never heard. HIGHLY RECOMMEND -- Amazing, compassionate, and fair veterinary care!…read more My cat recently developed symptoms of an upset GI tract, and I called early in the morning to check availability. They were able to see her the same day, which immediately relieved so much stress. Their later office hours were a huge blessing--especially compared to emergency clinics that easily charge three times as much. We arrived for our 5:30 appointment (they close at 8), and even with their day almost over, the entire staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Dr. Brink was our veterinarian, and she listened carefully as I explained what had been happening. She immediately began narrowing down the possible issues and communicated every step clearly. Before doing anything, they brought in a full cost itemization and explained each item in detail, answering every single question I had. The pricing here is beyond fair--and transparent. While we were discussing everything, my cat had an accident in the exam room, and the staff insisted I didn't clean it and moved us to a fresh room without hesitation. My girl is extremely fearful, so sedation was difficult. Dr. Brink and her team worked tirelessly to help her, and even though we couldn't complete the tests that evening, they still sent us home with medications to treat her GI symptoms. They also discovered an ear infection during the exam and provided treatment for that too. I came in with one problem, and they sent us home with answers I didn't even know we needed--this alone impressed me so much. They made arrangements for my cat to return the next morning for another sedation attempt (for bloodwork and an IV). When I came in around 1pm to check on her, another doctor (not sure of her name, but she was pregnant and so kind) took the time to personally reassure me that my girl was doing great. Before sedating her again, they even called to confirm the full treatment plan--another huge green flag. Less than an hour later, they called to tell me everything had gone smoothly and her blood panel was already complete. They even cleaned my cat's ears out as she was sedated so I could easily apply her medicated drops. I have NOTHING but positive things to say about this veterinary hospital. The entire team is compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated. Thank you all for treating my spicy, demonic little goblin with so much love and care. You've earned a lifelong client! It's been about 3 hours since we left the clinic and my girl is purring, eating, drinking, and using the restroom all on her own! Already feeling so much better than the day we came in. Odessa sends her love too!
