    My happy pup
    Sabrina A.

I cannot say about wonderful things bout VIP veterinary Services!!! I was scared to death to get my pup fixed. All that fee melted away when I walked in to VIP. The staff is so incredibly friendly and kind. They updated me the second my pup came out of surgery. They treated her with the utmost love and care. The recovery was easier than I thought. They used glue instead of stitches and she seemed to not be as itchy as I imagined he would be. After 2 weeks she was as good as before and the scar has faded. I'm forever grateful to VIP for caring for my pup. Thank you!!!

Less than 24 hours after spay surgery and she's doing great! She's healing & sleeping

I was looking for an established vet for our little boston terrier, Dumpling. VIP checked all of the boxes and we scheduled a visit. We met with Dr. Roberts and she was absolutely wonderful. My dog got excited when she entered the exam room and Dr Roberts sat on the floor with Dumpling so they can get to know each other. She examined Dumpling for allergy issues and gave us a prescription. The whole staff was so sweet and accommodating! We just took Dumpling back to VIP yesterday to get spayed and met with Dr. Cisneros. He was very nice and did his pre-surgery exam on Dumpling and took her to the back. The staff reassured that they would call me when the surgery was completed and they did! Very professional, very compassionate, clean office and the staff is wonderful!! Couldn't ask for any better!!

Dr Cisneros is everything !! He literally saved my dog's life . He was the 5th vet I took my dog to because his head kept swelling up big on one side . Other vets charged a lot of $ to drain it but did little to discover the underlying cause . Dr Cisneros was able to figure it out after a few weeks of treating him and he recovered perfectly once given the right meds . Even more importantly, my dog never got nervous in his office . He normally would shake uncontrollably upon entering a vet office and would often poop in the waiting area due to nerves . He feels comfortable with Dr. Cisneros and allows him to do whatever he needs to without showing signs of anxiety . I cannot thank Dr Cisneros and his wonderful staff enough .

Needed to have our 10 yr old Beagle looked at for a concern of a growth/sore on his backside. Called for appt and was advised to "walk in". We walked in with our dog at 3 PM and by 3:10 we were being seen in a room. The reception girls were very quick and friendly. We had an immediate good feeling about this clinic. Dr Cisneros came in and inspected and treated our dog. He was awesome. Greeted me and my 12 yr old son with a firm friendly handshake and began his treatment. He was very kind, gentle and considerate of our dog. Explained everything he was doing and made us all, including our dog, as comfortable as possible. Appreciate Dr Cisneros and the staff there and they have a new customer as we will be back for our future animal care. Very reasonable office visit price alsThank you ! Updated February 2020: Our second Yelp note regarding VIP. Last month we had our Chocolate Lab "Kodiak" in for neutering. He is a big lovable 18 month old beast. Took us a year to convince ourselves getting "fixed" was the right thing to do. We brought him in for his scheduled surgery. VIP explained the procedure and told us he'd be ready for pick up at 4 PM. We arrived at 4 PM. He was ready. The staff explained that everything went well, that he'd be goofy and maybe vomit from the anesthesia. Also to mind his activity etc for at least two weeks. He was in fact goofy and a little sick to his stomach that first night. By morning, he was nearly back to 100% normal, bounding around happily and in great spirits. No pain and hardly bothered by his sutures and fresh surgery area. By the way, his incision and area of surgery was very tidy and clean and to the untrained eye, very professional and carefully done. Over the next two weeks his wounds healed quickly and nicely and despite our concerns, he remains a rambunctious and spirited big brown beast. The reason for my note is not just last months procedure, but yesterday, without an appointment, we brought him back due to a likely allergic reaction to a bee sting or something. The staff saw him quickly, was kind and considerate as they treated him and put our minds at ease. Once again, 24 hours later, he is running amok as usual (the way we like it). Both the scheduled surgery and the emergency visit were quoted a certain, reasonable price, and we were happy to pay for the excellent service and care. This is not some new, fancy, Santa Clarita flashy vet office. It's a bit older , and we are good with that. The office staff is friendly and nice. The vet medical folks are awesome and we appreciate the entire staff. Thank you all!

Because she has had a…read moreheart murmur since she was a puppy, the veterinarian appropriately advised that she would not be sedated without first having an echocardiogram. We appreciated that level of caution. We were told a mobile echocardiogram service could be scheduled through their office for $660, which we agreed to. Our appointment window was scheduled between 9:00-11:00 a.m., and we were instructed to drop our dog off at 8:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the mobile echocardiogram veterinarian did not arrive until approximately 1:00 p.m., meaning our dog was kenneled for several unnecessary hours. After the echocardiogram, we were told our dog had mitral valve insufficiency and were advised to seek clearance from a cardiologist prior to anesthesia. We scheduled a consultation with a cardiologist, who expressed concern that this diagnosis would be highly unusual for a 2-year-old Rottweiler. Although we had just paid for an echocardiogram, she recommended repeating the study. She also mentioned she had encountered prior cases in which reports from this same mobile provider were inaccurate. The repeat echocardiogram revealed a completely different diagnosis: subaortic stenosis -- not mitral valve insufficiency. When we contacted Little Paws to discuss this discrepancy, we were told that "this is just how it works" and that different providers may "see different things." We found this response dismissive and concerning. While minor interpretation differences can occur, a completely different cardiac diagnosis significantly impacts medical management, anesthesia planning, and long-term prognosis. We understand that medicine is not always black and white; however, we feel strongly that complex cardiac diagnostics should be referred directly to a board-certified cardiologist if they are going to offer in-house mobile echocardiograms without ensuring diagnostic accuracy. It has raised serious concerns and resulted in unnecessary expense, stress, and delay in proper care for our dog. We will no longer be getting our dog spayed there and would not recommend Little Paws to friends or family.

If I could give 1 Million stars, I would!!!…read more This review is long overdue! Backstory: one of my dogs woke up on a Friday unable to open his eye, which quickly turned into an infection and I spent 2 days trying to find a vet / urgent care to take him to near my home in North Hollywood. Every hospital in LA that I called, I was either met with an immediate "hello, please hold" (for 20 minutes), capacity already met, an absurd wait time with no promise of being seen, or unsympathetic staff saying "an eye infection is not an emergency". I called SC Animal Urgent Care & Wellness Center at 7:08pm on a SUNDAY, arrived at 7:45pm and was seen by Dr. Mousa by 7:55pm! From the second the receptionist answered the phone, I knew I was in good hands. She was extremely compassionate & quickly took my information, along with my dogs symptoms and told me to come right in to be seen by Dr. Mousa. Dr. Mousa is a GOD SEND!!! I am so blessed to have found him. Dr. Mousa examined & handled my dog with so much care and explained that he had an corneal ulcer which was quickly deteriorating his cornea and that if I had not brought him in immediately, he would have lost his eye (which was still a possibility at that point due to the 2 day wait trying to find a vet/hospital). Dr. Mousa's urgency along with his care, compassion and knowledge is the type of service you expect and deserve when you go to a hospital concerned, stressed and scared for your dog. Lexi (vet assistant) is phenomenal & so sweet!!! Lexi treated my dog like he was her own and she explained every step of what was happening and why, then what would be next. She even shared a story about her cat with me to show how she related to me in that moment. They are an amazing team and will give your pets the best car!

While we were traveling, our 6-pound Maltese suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction after a bee sting. Within minutes he was vomiting, had lost control of his bowels, was breathing rapidly, became weak and disoriented, and looked like he was slipping away. It was one of the most terrifying experiences our family has ever faced. The moment we arrived, panicked and desperate, although they are not an emergency clinic, they helped us. After the Dr. said he could see our dog, everyone acted immediately. Our dog was taken back without time wasted, and the entire team worked quickly while keeping us informed every step of the way. Dr. Moran was calm, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His confidence and expertise gave us hope when we needed it most. The veterinary nurses and staff were wonderful--kind, attentive, and excellent at communicating throughout the entire process. The front desk team was equally amazing, showing genuine compassion and making an incredibly stressful situation a little easier. The care didn't end when we left the office. Receiving a personal phone call a few days later to check on our little guy and make sure he was continuing to recover meant so much to our family. That level of kindness and dedication is something you rarely experience, and it speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their patients. Because of the incredible care we received, our beloved dog is still with us today. If you're looking for a veterinary office that combines exceptional medical care with genuine compassion, this is the place. Thank you all for giving our little boy a second chance at life. For starters, when the vet tech asked me to place my dog on the scale I noticed that there was a huge puddle of urine on it. Yuck! I asked her to clean it up before I'd place my dog on that scale. That's beyond unsanitary! Then when we got to the exam room, that also looked unsanitary! The mat on the exam table had what looked like dried urine stains and nothing smelled clean or sanitized. Really gross and now I'm worried that my dog could have been exposed to something since it's likely nothing in that exam room had been cleaned. I should have left right then and there, and wish I had because things didn't get any better. The vet took forever to come into the room. I was only there to get my dog vaccine boosters but felt they were trying to evaluate and look for random diagnosis. They also were pushy about heart worm testing and charged an arm and a leg for core vaccines. Much more than any place I've ever been. It felt very scammy. And when checking out and paying the hefty bill the receptionists weren't very friendly. Honestly, the whole place just had a bad vibe. I wish I never took my pet here. I don't plan on bringing my pet here ever again and I feel very upset that I trusted bringing her here in the first place. I can't understand how anyone gives this place a positive review. Extremely Disappointing Experience--Unprofessional Handling of a Highly Trained Service Animal…read more I came in for a simple vaccine tech exam and requested to stay with my dog since she has never had an exam or vaccines done without me present. The staff seemed hesitant but agreed, noting that I wouldn't be able to restrain her myself--which I understood. At that time, I informed them of my experience as a prior K9 handler in the Navy and as a professional dog trainer these days. They didn't seem to care due to their protocol. Once we got into the room, things quickly went downhill. One of the techs was talking so loudly, it made both me and my dog uncomfortable. Also, saying things to the effect of "if you hold her there, I can sneak up behind her". The other tech's body language and approach were extremely tense, and when my dog tried to move away, the tech labeled my dog, "skittish." That couldn't be further from the truth--my Malinois is a service animal and is highly trained. Kimba has always done great during vet visits when handled confidently and calmly. After seeing how this situation was handled in front of an owner, I was relieved in my decision to stay with my dog. I can only imagine how they would handle a dog in the back without the owner nearby. It was very clear that the staff were nervous around her breed, and that tension completely set the tone. Instead of taking a moment to reset or try another approach, they became defensive and started touting their years of experience and arguing with me. One of the techs just straight up left the room. The one who was brave enough to stay tried to tell me that "some dogs only like one person"--my service animal is very well socialized to all environments and I trust my dog's judgement of certain people. Does she look like a one person dog to you? Overall, there was zero accountability or apology for how the situation was handled. Ultimately, we had to leave without my dog getting the care she needed. Not because of her behavior, but because of the staff's. It's unfortunate, because a calm, professional approach could've made this an entirely different experience. If you own a GSD, malinois/dutch shepherd, rottweiler, beauceron, australian shepherd, cattle dog, etc... don't bring your dog to Copperhill Animal Clinic for care.

That was my terminally ill daughter's medical Therapy dog and he had no problems at all. And as soon as I had concerns, everything was downplayed by the female veterinarian and vaguely explained, and at no point was any urgency of his fatality mentioned, I asked specifically if this was a dog who was about to die considering he was acting completely fine and showed no outward signs of illness or pain.. Today I left this office after 4 years and will never look back. My frustration comes after a…read moreseries of unacceptable mistakes that public needs to know. My personal mistake was to keep going to this place due to the amazing reviews so I thought that I was just having bad luck. We start a couple of years ago with an ear infection when the dog came back from the back of the office with the wrong ear treated. About 1 y and a half ago I brought my dog in for limping, dr Kim diagnosed elbow's arthritis, 2 light walks a day for the rest of his life. Nothing to really do about it. It sounded dumb to me since the dog was only 3 y old so I contacted an orthopedic, the orthopedic removed a broken anaconeal process that dr Kim didn't see at the XRay and talked to me about a very modern treatment which we promptly jumped on, the dog was up and running normal in 2 months. Last year doctor Oh sent me to the ER with a diagnosis of GDV while my dog was actively vomiting fluids (1st hint of the fact that couldn't have been GDV) wasn't bloated, wasn't panting, wasn't foaming, because he had confused an enlarged prostate with a stomach on the X-Ray. Access Woodland Hills pulled up the dog in 24h with simple antibiotics. Today it was the culprit, with the dumbest conversation I ever had in 50 years of my life with the front desk. My dog has lost 2 or 3 pounds in last few months. He went from about 92 to 88. Or who knows? the scale they have in the office is never accurate. Without saying anything a couple of months ago they had put him on a lower dosage of cytopoint which I noticed just from the fact that they billed me a lower price and that the medication hadn't been effective at all all of sudden. Whoever has a dog with skin issue knows how nasty it can get very quickly. I complained 3 times in separate occasions, in person and over the phone, I brought it up when I booked the appointment and today I went back saying again that his skin is a mess and I needed the dosage he has been doing for the last 2 years. They put him on the scale and his weight was 89.5 lb, like for real I am not making it up. Higher dosage starts at 90 lb, there's nothing they can do. They didn't offer a consultation, they didn't offer an alternative plan, the desk employer looked so satisfied that she wasn't going to follow this annoying patient's request. I was boiling, I just couldn't handle so much stupidity, I threw the muzzle I was holding in my hands on the scale which bumped on 90 lb and I asked if I could have his regular dosage now. They called me rude. I didn't have the patience to handle so much retardation. I left and randomly called Pinnacle. They fit me in, visited the dog, gave me his old dosage of cytopoint (surprise surprise they charge less) added apoquel and antibiotics (this how bad his skin was), loaded me with info about soaps and creams, dr Amsel and his technician visited the dog without muzzle before my eyes and without all the scenes that I was used to get at AMC for my 'aggressive ' dog, and I paid a total of 500 dollars which would have covered only 2 cytopoint injection at AMC. AMC takes more patients they can handle. There's always a different technician, a different doctor, front staff looks always overworked tired and confused, only thing are good at is chasing you with a reminder of any possible vaccine. Dr Kim is always rushing, one time to cut corners, because it was late and waiting room was still full she shouted to me the procedure she was about to do on my older dog from behind the front counter while I was sitting in the waiting room and everyone around me was talking. How professional is that? I hate bad reviews but if you are not detailed oriented passionate and professional in medical care maybe it's not your job. And always advocate for your pet and ask second opinions, because if your pet has a real health issue this place can't go beyond vaccines, flea medications and spay or neuter.

It wasn't just a generic card as I had expected; it filled my heart with joy. Thank you for honoring my P-Nut in such a special way.

Staff is very responsive, kind, and accommodating in case of emergencies. I recently found…read moresomeone's pet rat that had ingested poison and was clearly in a lot of pain. The dying process from rodent poison is horrendously long and painful. Saugus Animal Hospital immediately answered my call and, after listening to the situation, allowed me to bring it in immediately to humanely relieve its' suffering instead of leaving it in the heat and waiting for it to pass as other local hospitals had suggested. Thank you to the staff at Saugus Animal Hospital for caring about all animals, regardless of their size and species.
