I had a good experience. Great service, everyone was friendly. I like how it doesn't smell and the floors are not sticky. Unlike overpriced AMC. Also their nacho cheese is way better. Popcorn was good. Hopefully it stays but I heard they wanna tear down the whole mall. SO that's gonna suck if the theater is gone too. read more

If you haven't been here yet, you should stop by. This place is a great contender to the AMC brand... it's less expensive for tickets, drinks, popcorn, and membership. The theaters are decently sized, the bathrooms are clean, and the showtimes exceed that of the LITH AMC. The downsides... no drink refills, membership only includes 1 movie a month, and the seats don't recline to a comfortable angle. In my opinion, the deepest angle is still steep for viewing the screen ergonomically. All this said, it's a great option! We did a Thursday matinee (12:45pm) and it was only $4.99! Unheard of! All I have to say is FROZEN MARGARITAS!!! you heard me right people! They have frozen margaritas and bar at this location! I actually like the app because you don't have to pay a membership in order to get points. So definitely make sure you download the app. Every time you purchase tickets or concessions it goes towards points toward future purchases. We went to see the movie chaos and it was in the larger theater with the most comfy seats you have ever been in! I absolutely love the multiple reclining abilities of these chairs! Highly recommend for a date night or even to take the kids out. The prices for concessions were pretty reasonable as well. Love this place new hang out !!! read more

Came here on a late afternoon on a Thursday. The place was dead but that's fine by me! We had great seats, the place was kept immaculately clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful! I normally frequent the AMC in barrington but after coming here for a show, I think I found my new theatre. No free refills on drinks or popcorn but that's ok. The popcorn was fresh. They hand everything out at the counter, no fancy drink machines, they even put the butter on your popcorn for you. My husband did not like the recliner chairs so that was his only complaint. The bathrooms were clean and stocked!!! Compared to the cleanliness of AMC, this place is way better! No sticky floors, they had wipes available for the seats and hand sanitizer throughout the theatre. We will be back. I highly recommend this theatre for anyone in the area. They do have a rewards program. Sign up! read more

Not impressed. Recliner seats... not so much. They are no where near as good as any of the other recliners. Also it's one of those prebook your seats theaters. So even though we showed up 20min early we got shafted with front row seats - in seats that dont recline back enough so you have to jack your head upward and kill your neck. Only reason we are here is because we had gift cards. Otherwise i plan to never come back. We'll continue to view at the amazing theater in carpentersville. That theater has it right! read more

Malls in the Chicago suburbs are a dying breed. Spring Hill Mall is no exception. Yes, most of the storefronts are occupied with Victoria's Secret, Barnes & Noble, Famous Footwear, and others along with the anchor department stores. And yep, there's plenty of stores along the streets outside of the mall to add to the total shopping experience. Yet... the parking lot is pretty empty, the halls of the mall echo out its' emptiness, some stores are pretty bare, and salespeople with clipboards wander around without anyone to talk to. At least you can avoid the crowds here if you need a mall and don't want to run to Woodfield or drive around near Algonquin Commons. Despite the way it's trying to keep up by bringing in modern lounge chairs and tablets to entertain the kids near the food court, I wouldn't be surprised if zombies came through soon. It happened to Randhurst Mall (remember that place?), Stratford is on its' way, and Spring Hill is next. read more

I think of this as the Stevie B "Spring Love" mall just because it seems like a place the 90's youth back in the day would meet to walk around and hang out rockin their Girbauds or Z Cavariccis. Stopped in here not too long ago while J ran some errands. I didn't think it was that bad. They had a fair amount of decent stores to wander around and waste some time in. The bathrooms were pretty darn nice for a mall. They must have redone them. I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to mall bathrooms, but this one on the JCP end restored my faith in public bathrooms. I would give it more of a 3.5. Not quite a fan yet, but a decent smaller mall for the area and a lot less of a hassle then Woodfield to pop in an out to grab something. read more

Need a place to walk in the dead of winter? Don't have a gym membership? This is the place. There's no one here. Parking is easy. This place fits the definition of a dying mall. What stores are left are just strange and random. Seems it has high vacancy rate and a low traffic level. I'm not a mall shopper so this place works OK with it's big Sears store and a few other places. Destined for the wrecking ball I'm sure. It lost all of it's consumers to Randall Road. read more

Do not come 20 minutes after the start time of a movie too try and skip all the previews. They will not let you buy tickets, the man claiming to be the manager was very rude and let revenue for his company walk out the door something no manager would do. Today was the last straw for me. First bad experience was when I saw black panther in XD. The sound was horrible, regular theater screens there had better sound. Had to speak to a manager and was told they're had the master volume down and would turn it up. I'm sorry but I'm paying for XD which equals best picture quality and best sound. Tonight went to see Ready player one, once again the sound was super low (regular screen). Had purchased my tickets in advance. Movie was at 5:20 got to the theater at 4:50. Went straight to the concession stand to order up some yummy theater food. Ordered chicken finger/fries basket, cheese sticks and a large slushy. Paid and my girlfriend and I were told it would be around 6 minutes. Not a problem as I know they have to heat up the food. After two minutes we were told they had no marinara sauce. My GF loves marinara sauce so re canceled the cheese sticks and got a refund. Got our chicken fingers and fries. Then ordered a hotdog and paid for it , the gentleman placed a thermometer inside the dog and I guess it wasn't cooked. He placed the dog in the oven. Took it out it was shriveled up and hard. Had to return that also. My gf took a bite of the fries and they were cold and still hard. Spoke to a manager and also had to return that. 3 food items had to be returned. Then while explaining to the manager what was going on, the manager said "we have marinara sauce I know we do I did the inventory last night". Still waiting for the last refund and it was going on 5:27. The best part of going to the movies is watching all the previews. So I missed some previews. While waiting for my refund I asked if they can pause the movie since I'm missing the preview. Of course they said no and I was only kidding. I don't think I will return to this theater. Never again. Sorry but you just lost two loyal customers. read more

We waited in line for 25 minutes before we got to the counter to learn there were no more regular sized boxes so we couldn't get the classic size. Thr clerk just stared at us. We asked if there was something else. She said "the small ones". Then went silent again with a (I don't care) look on her face. We asked why and she said "no more boxes". We ordered a set of the small ones. As we were waiting everyone is part in line went through the same conversation. No sign was up to explain this. And when we finally got the box after another 15 minutes we got the box of minis that was sitting out the entire time we were waiting. We asked if these were the ones sitting in the counter and she said "no" and turned away from us We like the product, however these tasted really old, but we will never return to this location. read more

Best theater in the area! I have seen a few movies here now. It's a fairly new theater I'm guessing maybe a year old if that. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Very clean and inviting. Great sound and picture. Reclining seat and very spacious and comfortable . That's a huge plus. They have the typical snack selection along with beer and wine. Prices on food/ drinks is to be expected but they have a great deal of matinee's. They do a great job at keeping the crowd under control. That's important for me and my wife. Nothing worse than trying to enjoy a movie and the place is up for grabs. It's the only theater we will go to now. read more

Enjoyed coming to this theater have a family member who lives nearby it. We went on a Tuesday and tickets were only $5! How awesome is that?! Can't beat it. Though I love Cinema 12 and applaud their ownership and management for reimaging their theater, I got sick of the other people who go there. Too many people who just don't know how to shut up during a movie. So to get away from that, I decided to try Cinemark just a few miles away, and I was not disappointed. Though pricier than Cinema 12, the loud idiots haven't been present in any of the showings I've been to at this theater, and the staff really goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. I had too many drinks and food items to carry with me back to the theater, so a manager and another employee walked with me to help carry my stuff and get the door. Excellent service. No obnoxious moviegoers. Very happy. read more

We have seen two movies here in the past month and are so glad we choose this theater over others in the area. First, the price of tickets and food is honestly half that of all other theaters in the areas. Stars one and two there. Next, you get to choose your own seats and they are bf and comfortable. Spring Hill Mall will always have a special place in my heart. I grew up here, from the time they hosted the largest Pokemon trading card event, to eating at Old Country Buffet, to when I got one of my first jobs working as a cashier in the old PacSun. They certainly do anything they can to stay modern and keep things updated. Unfortunately the surrounding area began going downhill and it reflected on the mall. From what I understand, since customer attendance falters, rent is going up for all of the businesses which is forcing a lot of stores out. The movie theater was a great addition, but that's a whole different review. I have high hopes for this mall, and I really hope it can remain open for many years to come. read more

This mall is one of the best. Hands down the employees are helpful and they make sure that no one gets hurt. They have all sorts of places to shop at and a couple rides for the kids. They monitor what people are doing and make sure that it is allowed in the mall. They care about the safety of you and the others around you. They have a very large variety of stores to shop in and places to get a snack. And if you are stressed just go to the massage parlor that they have. If your kids want to play and you want to sit go to the super bounce play place the pricing is a little over expected but it is all worth it in the end. New things are popping up in the mall also just recently they put in Cinnabon a delicious snack. And also newer to the mall is the nestle toll house with all sorts of treats. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to have a really good time. read more

Came here this past Saturday for the 1st time ever, and oh my gosh, was I intrigued! There are so many authentic, large and healthy green plants throughout this place! The fountains display in Center Court is just amazing! I am kind of a big plant fan btw, and seeing many plants amidst great shopping that are alive and thriving is enough to make me stark raving mad about a place! How come Woodfield's plants are not real I do not know, but it would be nice if they were. The store selection is okay, but the mall has many of the same stores that you'd find at almost every mall in the country-Aeropostale, American Eagle, Charlotte Russe, Express, Zumiez, Victoria's Secret, PacSun, Hot Topic, Bath & Body Works, Cinnabon. The Funk-E-Breeze and Glitter stores that I went into are very nice. I love how helpful one security guard was that I met here. Whenever he spotted me looking at a directory board, which was not longer after I entered the mall, and almost immediately before my departure, he asked me if he could help me with anything. At each store and restaurant I ventured into, my oh my, the employees were just so nice and concerned about what I was interested in. Four stores I stepped into-Baskin Robbins, Fresca Mexican Grill, Funk-E-Breeze, and Glitter-and in each one, the employees were very helpful. Gosh I loved that. The last thing which made my trip to this mall so grand was standing outside, waiting for the Pace #552 bus. I enjoyed being enveloped with the sweet-smelling country air and the beauty of trees beyond the parking lot which resembled self-standing pieces of brocolli. Mmmmm, man do I love rustic settings and areas! Probably the sexiest setting there is out of any. I've gotta return to SpringHill next month, thanks to everything I mentioned. read more

This mall just keeps getting worse and worse. All the small shops suck and have cheaply made, over priced items. And those stores usually don't last very long. Unless your going to Kohls, Barnes and Noble, American Eagle, Victorias Secret, I'd ride over to Woodfield for a mall day. And the families are horribly behaved, the moms, dads, all of 'em. Quickest way to eat in there....oh yeah, that's right you won't want to eat. You'll lose your appetite just at the selection alone, and watching everyone else eat their nasty mall food. Located at Rt. 31 and Rt. 72. Spring Hill is not bad. It's EXCELLENT for Christmas shopping. It has 5 major stores which is GREAT!! Kohl's' Macy's Carson's Sears JC Penney Most malls only have 3-4. Food court is nice, play area for the small kids, water fountain area, lots of stores. The entire mall is surrounds with named restaurants, and MORE stores. I'm glad I live close, it's nice to pop over there. With the outer strip mall and the mall it's self, you can pretty much get all your shopping done! read more

Took my husband and I several months of living in this area until we actually decided to try this little gem. Every time we have gone has been for a 10pm or so movie on a Saturday night and it has been worth it every time. Comfy seats, clean theater, near empty because it's late, and the most affordable tickets you can find. It's not one of those massive AMC Dolby experiences but for just a general movie that I want to see, it's perfect in my book. It's a small theater so don't expect to see the seats that go up on a large incline like larger places. It's just floor seating so you definitely need a seat in one of the last few rows unless that's what you like. 100% recommend if you haven't given it a try. read more

Poor Springhill Mall. I love hearing "Miss can I sell you this" or " Hey would you like to try this out." Maybe like every other mall but believe me if I wanted an AT&T phone, I wouldn't go to Spring hill Mall. I only go for the Disney Store, and to get there I make sure to park by Carsons so I don't have to hear anybody screaming "hey lady." Also. What the heck happened to Mrs. Fields? This Mall is getting better than 5 years ago. They had a lot of Renovation, they had new store just open the Rue 21, The New Location of Victorias Secret & Mama Lees Popcorn are all now open at the Mall. The Movie Theater is coming in December. H&M is under construction. I hope you guys create more amusement park. I hope The mini foodcourt had a bigger area they should build the foodcourt on the side of the Mall tenants space that you can enjoy the foods. This mall used to be a really nice alternative to Woodfield - no so much anymore. I swear there are almost as many vacancies as tenants. Two of the 'anchor' size stores are vacant after JCPenney and Home Furniture Mart closed. Barnes & Noble and Kohls are the remaining reasons I shop there. I can find better versions of the remaining stores elsewhere. Traffic at the mall is so bad, even the McDonald's closed...! And I still shed a tear when I go past the (still empty) location where there used to be a Cinnabon... read more

Overall, the employees were very nice and went the extra mile to make sure that we had a good experience. Everything was clean, we had the whole theater to ourselves, and it was great. My only complaint however, is the lack of comfort for snuggling. Although they have comfy recliner seats with armrests that go up, these lounge chairs were a disappointment. I wanted to comfortably snuggle my S.O. but due to an awkward gap in between the chairs it was a little difficult. Additionally, the recliners did not recline as much as other ones I have been on before and therefore contributed to making it hard to get in a good snuggling position. Overall, 3/10 do not recommend for snuggling- unless you have a super great S.O. to make up for it. With that said, I will continue to go here, just is not my first choice for snuggling at movie theaters! read more
