Went here last Tuesday. Obviously going to the movies is ridiculously expensive these days. Discount ticket was 6 dollars, and large popcorn and medium soda was an extra 16 dollars. They are literally pricing out their customer base. That aside the west Springfield location has a beautiful large building, and it seems clean. Unfortunately the theatre was very cold. It's February, and I would guess the temperature was no higher than 58. I was in a sweatshirt and winter jacket, and it was still chilly. That's my biggest complaint. we went yesterday to see a movie - and left without seeing a movie! Something broke - maybe the projector, maybe something else, no answer there. While the staff was pleasant and gave patrons a refund, we were very disappointed. The movie we were there to see (Primitive War) had a very limited release. Not only had we driven nearly 90 minutes from Central Massachusetts, my son had driven over 4 hours from Maine to join us, as this was the only New England theater show8ng it this weekend. read more

Men bathroom in lobby is terrible. You can't take a dump without someone walking in on ya because the lock is broken off. Got a sink that doesn't work, and trash over fill in both barrels. I pre-order my food so I wouldn't have to wait in line but there no clear sign as to where to pick it up. read more

Have not seen a movie in a theater in I do not know how long but my impression on this cinema is I am interested in looking into the rewards program. Easy ticket purchasing but the reserved seating makes sense for busier showings but for a 1:35 weekday afternoon it seems silly. The gentleman who collected my ticket was very friendly but has some noticeable body odor. Didn't get anything from concessions but fully plan on taking advantage of it once I am done with my Invisalign treatment. The theater itself is nice, sat in theater number 15, row E which was plenty close enough. Sound was not too loud and clear. Love! this recliner seat, practically fell asleep while waiting for the movie to start. Only two other adults watched the film Downhill at this time and chatted towards the end as it was not that great of a movie. Mens bathroom was dirty. Vents were filled with filth, dirt and grime on the walls and floor was sticky around the urinal. Lobby floors also had plenty of popcorn from slobs. Virtually no one there so no excuse for staff to be unproductive and not walk around picking the place up. Outside is your typical gum and cigarette butts everywhere, hopefully come the warmer months it gets cleaned up. This is a nice movie theater but guests take advantage of not having any self accountability and leave their trash everywhere. Management could do better with staff during slow times. Will come back here for future movies opposed to the Eastfield Mall. read more

Came today to see a movie with the family. The family (5 of them) were let through to buy concessions and use the rest rooms. I stood in line for tickets. Unfortunately due to COVID only 4 tickets were available for the movie we all wanted to see. The manager saw my dilemma and invited us to return for the next showing on the house. We were also treated to new beverages on the house. Very nice people who handled it very professionally. Always had a great experience here. Very comfortable seats with great movies. read more

me and me friend decided to see the new beetle juice movie. the movie it self was pretty good . but 50 minutes into the movie we had to use the restroom. so we do our business and I went to wash my hands. And then I her this agitating voice say "so are you ladies hanging out in the restroom or watching the movie." AND OMG was I heated I was probably in there for two minutes, in my personal opinion it was a pretty quick trip to the restroom. I've been coming to this location for my entire life, as I have lived in western mass my entire life. I've seen it go from the showcase cinemas, to regal, to rave to now Cinemark. I feel that the Cinema offers a great variety of concessions but is very pricey. The Wednesday night discount days were a nice offer, but end up being very boisterous due to lots of family's choosing to wait until this day to go as it's more economical. They offer digital, XD and 3D showings, with reclined seating which is always very comfortable and clean. They have been working on upgrades to the theater recently and I have not been back to be able to speak on those. They use to not offer alcohol but that may have changed with the recent updating of the theater. I have given this 3 stars due to the pricing and the clientele which can making movies unpleasant and some seem to not be very curious and can be quite rude and unaware of the other people watching the movie around them. read more

This is probably one of the best cinemas I have ever been too in New England! It's clean, staff is friendly, but the greatest feature here is that you get to chose your seat at the ticket counter! Wow... this really made a huge impression on me... choosing your seat prior to showtime is pretty amazing. I wish every theatre would consider doing this. I also appreciated the food options. You can tell they are trying to be similar to some of the more upscale NYC venues. I can definitely understand they are trying to step it up. I've seen several movies here, mostly during the day because trying to park at night can be very cumbersome. Daytime matinee parking is actually pretty okay!! Surprising, but I'll take it! This is also a great family venue with lots of arcade games for adults and kids alike. But beware of the prices... as usual, you'll spend a lot if you don't take advantage of the membership deals, which I highly recommend. It's definitely worth it. So very disappointed with this place. After I paid for three popcorn's, the girl tells me that I only paid for two & started arguing with me when I told her very specifically a small, medium and large. I just had to go off on her because of her, not being capable to comprehend or shut her mouth up when people are talking and explaining stuff to her. She seemed like she didn't even wanna work there. Like she was mad because we were ordering our food & we were possibly ordering way too much for her to handle. absolute worst movie experience of my life. not only was there nobody in the theater to stop the constant talking and people being on their phone but the theater itself had no AC. I was sweating throughout the entire film and I could hear other people complaining as well. How do you not have the AC on during the summer and if something is broken then why not tell the customers. Would recommend to NOT come here and I will never be coming back here again. Very nice theater for a spontaneous movie night! I am from out of town, but I often end up here when I visit family in Chicopee. We always go to this theater because it is clean, large, and they put in new recliners! They are very comfy with lots of legroom. No need to put up your feet when people walk by. We also used the kiosks to buy tickets and it was fast & easy. This is especially important because we have MoviePass cards and sometimes those give us a hard time. Our only beef with this theater is the trays that are hooked onto the seats are like school trays on desks. They are convenient, but make it uncomfortable to hold someone's hand! The redesign of this cinema makes going to the movies a fun, worthwhile and luxurious experience again! The new luxury recliners are so comfy and the attached tray tables are very convenient for keeping those movies snacks close at hand. The new design has fewer rows of seat, so the tiered seating seating gives everyone an unobstructed view of the screen. Everything is brand new in the viewing theaters so even though the movie theater has been around for years it seems like a whole new experience. Another plus for this RAVE/Cinemark theater is that the staff are helpful and friendly. Many of them have been working there for years. We had an opportunity to meet Ed, one of the managers, who was engaging and excited about the improvements and possible future plans for the property. read more

Giant movie theater! Was staying at the Candlewood inn and had some time to kill so I walked down to the movies. Comfortable chairs, they had an early big special so my ticket was around $8 not so bad, I got a small popcorn, water and soda and that was like $16 which is kinda expensive. They have lunch food options as well. It was worth the visit! read more

Came here to see the movie "Wish Upon" since we were in the Holyoke area at the mall and wanted to see a movie afterwards. It's not like the chain theaters where everything is updated and fancy and I think that's why I loved this theater. It has that older feel and 90's charm with a photo booth. Staff were very friendly, chairs are comfy and popcorn was delicious hot and fresh. Parking is a little chaotic but other than that would definitely return if in the area. read more
