Not my first time here... however, can we talk about the beauty of this establishment! This property has so much land places to sit, spread out . Bring your own food snacks. AND all the doggies. Love walking the property . Everyone is so friendly feels like you're at your friend's house. Many wine choices, delicious sangrias, with other drinks. The vibe is so good ! Defiantly check them out . 10/10 ( they also have goats u can feed bring quarters to get some food, so much fun )

Blueberry wine is a must! So sweet, but not overly sweet, for a nice fruity balance! The wine slushies are refreshing on a hot day while walking the grounds. Probably one of the best vineyards I've been to! The scenery alone is enough to visit and was absolutely amazing!! The 98 acres of land (I asked the bar tender) are simply breath taking. I saw people fishing in the back lake, which is something I've never seen on vinyard properties! Ambiance was great and the outdoor activities and walkthrough gardens are incredible. I would come here all the time if it were closer!

My absolute favorite vineyard to go relax, enjoy and have a wonderful time. The staff are great and you have plenty of seating options available outside, or take a stroll around the beautiful scenery. I have tried the Zinful Pleasure, Perseverance and Worthington White and did enjoy all of them. They also have a small and cozy tasting room, but plenty of seating on the lawn. Bring your own food and enjoy a beautiful summer day here.

This winery is beautiful and expansive! Lush grounds with a variety of scenery and places to hang out. They have picnic tables set up all around, a covered bridge, open fields with things like an old truck for photo opportunities, a water feature and a house with the tasting room with more seating there as well. They are open year round which is wonderful It's a great place to have a party or wedding. We were ccelebrating a friend's birthday. We brought our own food and bought a couple of bottles of wine and I tried a wine flight as well to get a taste of everything on offer. They had a food truck and a bakery vendor available as well for anyone that didn't bring anything with them. The wines were very good, including the blueberry fruit wine and I'm not partial to fruit wines. They offered a chocolate pairing which I decided to try as well in order to get the full experience It was a beautiful day at a relaxing and well run winery. The staff were kind and knowledgeable and everything about the experience made me want to return again soon.

Quiet spot to enjoy the view, embrace nature and enjoy some wine.

The entrance pulls you into the tasting room for a warm welcome from staff. A variety of options. What a beautiful way to spend time outdoors. Our favorite is to enjoy delicious frozen wine slushies. The grounds are beautiful with multiple options for seating or take a stroll near the pond and covered bridge. I like that there are occasional vendors and events. Is it true there are small farm animals nearby?!

Great place to relax and drink wine! We brought the wine around the property to see the pond and all of the spots to chill. They have a firepit at night and a small beach. They even have kayaks available! People were fishing and celebrating when we went. A cute food truck was there and a band!

Stopped into this spot for a little picnic with friends on Memorial Day Weekend. It was very easy to find and parking was plentiful. It is a couple minute walk with a hill from the parking lot to the tasting room, for anyone with mobility concerns. The tasting room is small but very charming. It was a beautiful day so everyone was outside, but I could see it being a fabulous spot in the cooler months. There is a small 40 person event space upstairs and downstairs is a kitchen area where they serve the wine slushees and sangria from. There is no elevator. In speaking with the owner, he mentioned the need to build a larger tasting room in the future as a top priority. The restroom is a single user bathroom and is located on the lower level of the building. There is a walk out basement so someone could go around the building and down the small hill if stairs were prohibitive. A major downfall was the restroom situation. There is the one single-user bathroom (very clean, smelled delicious with a Bath and Body Works diffuser!) in the tasting room, an accessible port o potty outside the tasting room, and then a three stall bathroom fancy port o potty trailer on the far side of the larger seating area. This is up a small grassy hilly. Unfortunately, there was always a line at the tasting room bathroom and while the trailer bathrooms were very clean and well appointed, I could not get the doors to shut, nor lock. If you had someone to stand guard for you, this wouldn't be a huge problem, but it wasn't ideal. I noted this to a staff member who shrugged it off and said "we know, the walls swell and people slam them." A bit of a disappointing response. We were able to sample little sips of the two white wines, but honestly didn't care for either. Both bottles were low $20s. We selected a pitcher of strawberry sangria instead which was very strawberry tasting, perhaps there's a syrup in it? I didn't care for it, but the crew drank it. It had a couple whole strawberries floating in it which was a nice touch. There was roughly 5 glasses in the pitcher and was about $45. (I'd pass on it in the future). The best part of the winery is the grounds. It is truly beautiful. The history of the property is a weird one. We asked around and did a deep dive Google search. It was previously a sort of pet project owned by a developer and it was used for weddings, summer camps, and charity events. Definitely walk around while you're here. There's remnants of the old business everywhere which feels a little like a ghost town, but in a fun way to explore. There's a couple lake/pond areas, some canoes, a old train track area, a covered bridge that holds events, a meditation garden, sugar house, and random seating areas. The current owners really inherited a lot with the property and it has tremendous potential. Everything is well maintained and the garden areas are beautiful to walk around. It would be a great space for a wedding, retirement party, etc. The owner mentioned some plans to grow in the future. They had glamping previously but it's stopped at the moment due to permit issues. The views are truly lovely. Very picturesque and bucolic. I could have sat there for days! Seating is well mixed - there are patio tables and chairs on and under the tasting room deck and then a mix of picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, and patio tables and chairs all over the property. The seating is well spaced out so you're far from the next tables' conversations. This was really lovely. Two tables away from us was a 30 person party filled with kids and we never even heard any chatter. There was a lovely breeze on the property as well. There's lots of options for patio tables with umbrellas but plenty of large trees with tables under them if you're looking for more shade. I believe they also had corn hole set up in one area, though we didn't make it over there. Patio chairs weren't super wide, though not especially narrow, for those with larger hips. I've sat in far worse chairs. Adirondack chairs are narrow. You could absolutely bring your own camp chair if you were more comfortable. The place is vast and feels very park-like, no one would care or frankly notice. It seems that there are some grapes grown on site, though they're young and beginning. The owner noted that he manages some grapes in Ellington, so they are local. There was no food trucks or anything, and no "shop" like some places have, but there was a number of premade charcuterie boxes available for sale. They also had large wine bottles of water for folks to take to their table. The owners have a lot of work ahead of them, but I think they truly have a wonderful canvas to work with! It's a great option to have in this area of the state and offered stunning views that gives Gouveia a run for their money without the traffic and crowd. I wish them all the best!

The last time I reviewed Worthington, it was the dead of winter--time for an update. As I suspected, it's even more impressive in summer. The grounds were full of lilies in bloom. It was gorgeous! Champ, the pup, came to visit, lying beside us, and did NOT beg for treats. Fun to watch him herd the goats. In their pen.

It was mid-fall when I heard from a friend that the new winery had opened up in town. She and her husband had enjoyed a sunny Sunday afternoon there, and couldn't say enough good things about the place. So of course we went a couple weeks later! My impression of the Worthington Vineyard & Winery? It's a gorgeous asset to this bedroom community. The property is vast and beautiful, and there are tables and chairs tucked into areas surrounding the ponds for guests to lounge in. I believe the grounds are open to the public to enjoy, with the occasional exception for specific events--a very generous offer which shows the owning family's commitment to our community. The wine tasting room is cozy, and there's a deck with seating as well. Below there's a patio with heaters, which I believe is wrapped at the start of colder weather. My friend and I walked all over the gorgeous grounds, then treated ourselves to a glass of a wonderful white wine on the upper deck. What a knockout of a day and a knockout of a place. I can't wait to return with my husband, adult children, and all my friends. Visit this beautiful place and spread the news!

This new winery is a must visit! Have a delicious sip of wine as you sit around a cozy fire place, then embark on a tranquil walk around the nearby pond! When I went there were five different wines to try, each with their own unique flavor! The aromatics of each wine were present and the flavors became more complex with each sip! My favorite was the Zinfandel! I found the bold fruity flavors to be very unique! Although I usually don't drink white wine, I found the Worthington White to be very refreshing! We ended up bringing a few bottles home because they were so delicious! Their food and snack collection is limited, but you may bring your own food to complement your experience! I can't wait to go again!

Wow, what a destination. The wine choices are very nice, and - holy cow - the outdoors here is fantastic. A pond, tables, chairs, covered bridge - the whole venue looks and feels very relaxing. Knowledgeable and courteous staff, snacks and entertainment. They also allow you to bring your own food. And they have goats you can visit and feed, too. Crazy nice place.

There were a lot of tables out in the sun or under the tent (for a hot day under the tent was best!) We also bought snacks of crackers and cheese that they had, although they were a bit pricey altogether. There was also a selection of chocolate and cigars at the front. Depending where your facing, there are nice views of the vineyard. There was also a graduation party that reserved half the tent space. This vineyard had humble views and hands-off service (every time we wanted a new bottle we went inside to ring it up, and we brought our bottle back outside with us). Come here for no-frills winery and good wine. I'd recommend bringing your own snacks to accompany their wine!

Plenty of standing room is available for those that come late. You know who you are!! No judgement. LOL The road leading to the winery is very winding road so slow down and be careful for yourself and others. Also, very dark when you are leaving so that is another reason to slow down. We ALL want to get to our next destination safely. The bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable about their product. We listened to live music played by Myke Ross. The musical selections were great. People took to the floor to dance. I definitely will go back to this winery. Go check it out and enjoy yourself. We came with our own food from Panera Bread. You can order food there or even order pizza and have it delivered there.
