This place had like 5 kids working the counter playing around and just on their phones and a simple bag of popcorn was a mission for them. When I got home the damn popcorn was salty as F@#k. To start off with the good, the theater is very big and looks to be brand new. It is the only establishment in the lot except for a McDonald's and a gas station so I'm assuming it was recently opened. The theater was nice and open, they also kept the temperature at a good spot unlike other theaters who will literally freeze you while you watch a movie. Our server was good, at least the first one that came to introduce himself and ask if it was our first time. I think they have a crew that just delivers food or comes around to check on you cause I kept seeing different people every time something was dropped off. Now for the food... honestly it was disappointing. The only positive I can say is that the loaded fries were good. Both my husband and I enjoyed those. But that's where the good ended. I ordered the watermelon margarita for myself and unfortunately had to send it back due to it being extremely salty! I asked for water instead, which I stuck with for the duration of the movie. My husband ordered the bbq chicken pizza, which he says wasn't too bad. I did have a few bites and really don't think it was worth the hefty $16 price. It didn't really taste like bbq chicken to me, I can't put my finger on it but something tasted off. I got the ribeye tacos and they were very salty. Not only that but the meat was really dry as well with almost no other toppings. The chips and salsa that came with my meal didn't really help either. The chips were super salty and the salsa just didn't taste good at all. I see a running theme at this theater for having salty food. So take that with a grain of salt (pun intended). One thing I do have to say is that despite only taking a sip or two of my watermelon margarita and sending it back for a glass of water, it appears we were still charged for the drink. Unfortunately my husband didn't check the bill and also didn't mention anything until we got home but I think we were overcharged on our bill. I totaled everything and it should have been around $51 but my husband said he paid over $80 including tip. I don't think he would have tipped $30 so I believe we were charged incorrectly. Another reason why their rating is so low. Overall I don't know if I would ever come back here. The theater is nice, big and new - but the lack of flavor in their food and drinks as well as overcharging by what I consider a big amount on our bill. I just can't recommend Alamo Drafthouse. I think going to Cinemark and just getting a popcorn and candy would have been a better bet.

Although this location has been stuck in the longest construction era, once you make it up to the hill you're in the parking lot of the theater. This drafthouse is super nice compared to other locations i've been to in other cities as they have a full blown bar with ample restaurant-style seating. You can grab a drink, enjoy their draft beer lineup, or have a bite before you eventually head into the theater to watch your movie. It's easy to get some perks signed up for their membership club and you can purchase your tickets ahead of time or at the ticket counter. Some of my fave food items are their pretzels with beer queso and their pizzas. It's always fun to see what fun and unique menu item names they come up with! All in all, a great movie theater experience.

One thing I really appreciated is that they offer movies in English, and the staff brings food directly to your seat. The workers were extremely fast and attentive, so definitely make sure to tip. The food itself was decent for a movie theater nothing amazing but the crepas were the highlight and absolutely worth ordering. I wouldn't recommend the shakes, though. Overall, I really enjoyed this theater and would definitely come back. Cinépolis VIP is a great way to watch a movie while visiting Mexico.

When we entered, we got into this line of concessions that had candies, ice cream cups, chocolate... There was a bar that served adult drinks on the right. The arcade was also on the right. When we got to the front of the line we were able to get various sizes of popcorn. Cinemark sells popcorn in small to large tubs, but we also saw folks walking away with bags full of popcorn. The kids got some Fanta slushies, and then we were off to the theater showing Zootopia 2. The room had stadium seating the leather seats were large and comfy. The floors were not sticky and the room provided great visuals and audio. Not too loud, but enough speakers to sound amazing. The movie was great. The experience at Cinemark was great. You can tell they've put a lot of effort into rebuilding after taking over the former Alamo locations. But what really surprised me was the food quality. This is not typical movie theater food. The pizza dough is made fresh daily, sauces are scratch-made, and the menu feels like an actual restaurant, not just concessions. Even their beers are award-winning, and it's clear they care about quality and consistency. I ended up hosting my son's birthday here for about 14 people, and honestly, it was one of the easiest group outings I've done. We ordered everything from our seats, the kids shared refillable popcorn, and everyone had great food the entire time while watching the movie. No lines, no waiting, no juggling trays, and no missing parts of the film. They also have a private room we used for cake, plus games like foosball, which made it really easy to manage a group. Pricing was another surprise. Tickets here were actually cheaper than comparable theaters, even though it may not look like it at first because fees are shown upfront. When I compared the full experience--tickets plus food--it ended up being a better overall value than going somewhere else and just buying snacks. So as the opening credits I did see that a Japanese company was also a backer of the film and I figured something was up. The film began and it wasn't slow at all, it actually all fell into order and made sense as the movie progressed. There were epic battle scenes and names of well known Navy heroes were in full effect. All in all it was a great movie that I would highly recommend.
