Cineplex finally stepped their game up! The VIP experience is unreal .. There is a high end bar in the lobby and a menu of restaurant level food! Not only in the lobby but they have waitresses coming up and taking orders all the way up until the movies starts. I ordered chicken tenders with fries and I was BLOWN away. These were the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. It had a nice buffalo sauce on them to give a little kick! And they were so moist and soft! The fries were also nice and crispy. I was shocked at how tasty these were at the movie theatre. Highly recommend !! The price for food and alcoholic beverages were reasonable. Then the movie starts and you are in a comfortable recliners and what it has over other is HEATED SEATS! This is so unreal and relaxing. All these components while enjoying a good flick. Probably the nicest Movie Theatre in the city of London. It was just re-built right behind Westmount Mall last summer I believe? and features an amazingly nice VIP section (Although I have yet to go, but I will!) with full bar with decor that rivals some of the nicest bars in the city as well, I can't comment much more on the VIP other than what I've seen from the front but it looks impressive with full lounge complete with fireplaces and nice leather seating. I can however comment on the rest of the theatre as I came here to watch Sherlock Holmes over the Christmas break. The rest of it is nice, and redone although it doesn't seem to be as big as the Silver City located in the Masonville Area. But it does however make up for that with it brand new reclining seats, yeah that's right I said reclining seats at a movie theatre! Although has brand new big screens with brand new equipment and sound to match. So in other words the movie experience is amazing! even if your not 19+ and able to go into the VIP (Although I am, lol, but don't worry I will go to VIP one of these days and make a review based on that too.) The concessions sport your usual movie fare including the usual popcorn, pop, nachos, chocolate bars, etc. Although they seem to be on the pricey side, make sure you get a large for free refills! Lots of debit machines and automated ticket machines if the lines are too big, which they can tend to get on holidays and weekends. Oh and not to mention half price Tuesday are a zoo! Wow. London's best kept secret! I can't believe that my boyfriend has been living in London for three years and we've never been here! As a movie fanatic, let me tell you, this theatre is REALLY NICE. Definitely nicer than the VIP in Toronto, and maybe even... the nicest theatre I have ever been to? And it's in LONDON?! This place is amazing - and when I say "this place" I mean the VIP cinemas - the rest is pretty standard Cineplex. The VIP has three theatres in a completely separate area. The lounge is almost like a nice restaurant or bar, I could definitely see myself hanging out there before or after the movie. The theatres themselves are so nice. Much larger than VIP cinemas elsewhere, they have leather reclining seats, and if you happen to get stuck in the front, well they have wide leather couch type chairs. However, if you book your tickets advance online, they do have seat selection so you should be able to get the seat you want. Every two chairs there is a table, with a full menu. This includes a full bar (I had a Caesar, yum!), appetizers, entrees, and your standard candy and popcorn. The service inside the VIP theatre is so friendly and prompt as well - we asked for our popcorn in two separate bags because I wanted flavor, and they brought us out two larges for the price of one! Went to the VIP with my girlfriend to see Cinderella a few days ago. I suggest using 1000 scene points to get the otherwise $18 ticket for free. Bar area before going into the theatre was great. I suggest arriving 30mins+ ahead of time to enjoy their excellent drinks and appetizers. Had the California burger and flatbread bruschetta for dinner, both were really good. Service was pretty fast and servers were nice. Just be sure you order all the food you'll want at the start because you won't have a chance later on (which is why I'm giving it a 4/5). They bring the food in little boxes that are easy to eat from. Highly recommend trying it out. read more

This place is fantastic to see a movie. I went to see Snowden while in London. You get to select where you want to sit. The seats are comfortable and they recline. I got to my theatre and sat down. The woman behind me had extended her foot a couple of seats to my right, but a row back. She was kind to indicate that she had surgery recently and had to prop her foot up. She asked whether that was okay. Sure! It wasn't like she had her shoe off and her foot was stinking up the joint. She seemed relieved. The screen's crispness was great. I chowed down on my hot dog and washed it down with my drink. All was well. The flick was enjoyable and eye-opening. If you are in London and want to see a movie, come here. (235) read more

It's not hard to understand why this place is crammed every time I visit - this theatre is the newest and most luxurious cinema in London, and it looks like people don't mind paying for that. I'd planned to see a movie in the VIP theatre but it was already sold out when I arrived an HOUR before the movie began. This wasn't a new release; that leads me to believe that the VIP treatment is a destination in and of itself. Buy your tickets in advance online to avoid disappointment. I got in the lineup for the regular screenings and I was impressed by how quickly it moved along, but it wasn't much fun to wait in line with everyone else wanting to grab a seat. My parents have been raving about the VIP cinema in London, so when I visited them this summer I HAD to try it out to see for myself. There is a separate cashier, and a totally separate area for "VIP" ticket holders. The price is around 17 dollars, but in Calgary buying Ultra AVX tickets are around the same price. With the VIP, you get to select your seats and then head into a tastefully modern lounge. The drinks in the lounge are reasonably priced - 6.50 caesars with olives, beans, lemon and lime garnish. We all ordered 1 to drink at the bar and then went to our seats. Each pair of sets shares a small table (brilliant), and a menu, so you can order popcorn, drinks, and other food right to your seat! The seats were large leather recliners that had a TON of leg room! The BEST part about the VIP theatre is that it is only for legal drinking age patrons. That's right, NO CHILDREN! We all had an amazing movie experience. I have no idea why Calgary hasn't brought in a VIP cinema yet, because in my opinion this will save movie theatres indefinitely. read more

We went to see frozen 2 here and we got popcorn and a drink the popcorn and drink were in a combo the popcorn was delicious but they don't layer the butter too good but the butter on the top was good and the drink was very big for what we paid the movie was good but there was lines on the screen but they didn't bother me too much I recommend this place for people who like a comfortable movie experience read more

This has always been my go-to movie theatre in London. It's close to my house, has VIP, and is an overall good experience. So, I'm not too sure what happened last night but I was really disappointed! We went to the late show and I noticed that most of the arcade machines were broken. I went to order some food and the screens above me were all turned off so I had to struggle to read screens off to the side. I went to the washroom and wow, what a mess! Popcorn and tissue all over the floor, un-flushed toilets, and empty paper towel rolls on the counter. I feel like Cineplex always prides itself in how clean it keeps its facilities but maybe the New Year has them in a funk? I'm going to chalk last night up to the fact that it was later in the evening on a, most likely busy, Saturday during the winter break. Otherwise, I've been to the VIP in this theatre and it is really fun. I like the exclusive feeling. In the past, I found their in-seat menu to be quite misleading. Items would be pumped up on the menu and when you get them its just all the same stuff from outside. No special presentation, just served to your seat. Since then I think they have changed the tune of their song. The VIP experience has been heightened. I ordered a huge brownie sundae. In my seat. It came to me on a big plate with ice cream, chocolate, and whipped cream on top. I'm sorry GA people but you gotta go VIP to get this baby. I think I made a few other ladies in the auditorium jealous...but hey...you do you, I'll do me ;) I'll be happy to return this theatre, I just hope I caught them on an off day, there are some new movie theatres in this town making waves. I come here for the VIP treatment. Getting comfy seats without annoying kiddies and having food and drink brought to you is pretty divine. The chicken fingers, yam fries and (alcoholic) strawberry smoothie is my usual here. Once the chicken fingers came on a plate which was like a disaster spill waiting to happen and they got cold quickly, so I hope that was just an odd fluke. Service is relatively quick, but you could be getting your food/drink during the previews...or even the first few minutes of the movie itself if you're one of the last to put an order in. Yes, it's pricey but it makes for a great date night experience. Even if the date is a bunch of friends. Although, you sit two together so make sure you don't have a third wheel along. Beild able to enjoy a couple of drinks while watching a movie is fantastic! -You can pick your seats beforehand AND the seats are super comfortable/recline. -The VIP section is 19+ so no obnoxious teenagers! -Drinks were reasonably priced and the bar staff were lovely. -Wait staff can bring your snacks to you! -VIP is the same amount of scene points as a movie at Silvercity! read more

order tickets online the tickets I order were in the second to last back row. my wife and arrive at theater our tickets were placed in 2nd front row. Talked to the manager yesterday he said some sites reverse sitting and there was a bar there telling us that no bar, no he did not offer a credit just a refund to come back at a later date. this was the first movie my wife and I have seen together in 2yrs. read more

Cineplex is letting London down as far as showing new releases. Jackie, Fences, Manchester by the sea, Miss Sloan, Loving, and Jack Reacher are not playing here. Cineplex Head Office have told me that we are not in the zone selected for limited releases and many new releases and could not give me a valid reason for this. I will buy them online rather then drive to Kitchener, Windsor or Toronto. We have 3 Cineplex theatres in the area when you include St. Thomas. Look at the playlists for all three of the theatres. For the most part they are all showing the same movies. The very least Cineplex can do for London is to spread the wealth with the new releases. read more

I was rushed to make it to the theatre due to the terrible road conditions I didn't have a chance to order food and drinks, but I do like the bar that it has. I don't go out to the movies that often - most of them I prefer to wait for the DVD. But for those that demand the "Big" screen, this is the only way to go for the following reasons: 1. No kids! 2. I have been going to this cineplex location because it is the closest to me and they have the VIP option. I love how the VIP pricing is the same as regular 11.99. Sometimes you just want to get reserved seats, not wait in line and not have to listen to snotty teenagers telling each other "They can't even". You can get your food and drinks brought to you without having to move at all and the chairs are super comfy. I have never had a bad time at this theatre. read more

Been to the VIP theater multiple times and each time it's been awesome. Comfortable, clean, good food in the VIP section also both food and drinks are good a price. Great to be able to have an alcoholic beverage while watching a movie just like I would be able too at home. Have recommended to many friends and family all have enjoyed it! read more

The VIP theatre is very nice. There is a wonderfully comfortable waiting room, with bar. The seats in the actual theatre are equally comfortable (paired in twos with tables in between). Its really cool to have a full kitchen and bar to order from while seeing a movie. I understand this is pretty popular in the US, and I really hope to see more of it here. Overall this is the best theater in London, however the glowing reviews of the VIP section are a little much. The bar is overpriced and the food is worse than mediocre. I would be utterly shocked if any of it was made fresh and not just dumped out of a freezer bag into a deep fryer. I've paid the extra $5 several times expecting that an older audience would be better behaved and each time I was sorely disappointed. As a taller person I find the seats in the regular theater much more comfortable. The only redeeming feature is the tabletops that divide the seats into pairs. The print/skip/scan program is fantastic, buying tickets online eliminates the need to join the herd of people blocking the entrance to get tickets. The popcorn at this theater is actually warm compared to the cold crap they overcharge for at Silver City and the drinks are cold when you get them as opposed to SC that completely relies on ice. read more

I ordered a Stella on tap today when I was there and it was served in a hard plastic glass. It was warm and not enjoyable at all. Any beer from a tap should be served in a chilled glass glass. That's the last time ill go VIP for a movie. read more
