Another of my favorite is the tres leches. so I took a bite and I spit it right out it was disgusting. When I lifted up it was goopy and the three milks should not be goopy and it tasted like rotten milk it was disgusting. The third thing I got was a custard filled doughnut. At least that was soso. Someone on here on their review said the best authentic Mexican bakery... Yeah I don't think they've actually had legit Mexican bakery Products because this is not it.

Tlive more than an hour from this Mexican Bakery. However, this last time I stopped, the experience was not the same. My favorite was the cheese and jalapeño relleno bread. They also carry some with just cheese. So, I asked the employees which were the ones with jalapeños in them. The employee said they all had jalapeño's and cheese. I purchased two of them. When I arrived at home, the bread instead had chorizo and potatoes inside. The taste was so bad and cold. I was disappointed. So, I called the bakery hoping to get replacements of jalapeño and cheese whenever I have the opportunity to stop by there, since it wasn't my fault. The employee told me no. I told her I could take a photo and keep the receipt. Nope, she didn't care. In addition, since I live more than an hour away, I asked the employee for a box to place the bread in, so the frosting on the small cakes wouldn't get messed up. Upon, looking at my receipt at home to call them, I noticed I was charged $2.25 for a thin little box that one gets free for purchasing donuts at a donut shop. If the employee had told me that there is a charge for the box, I would've had her place the bread in bags instead. This Mexican bakery is not a place I recommend to buy from. Take your business elsewhere.

All the ladies that were working there today were very helpful, kind. and generally very nice in Customer Service! After a hard decision, I got one of their huge cinnamon buns with the original icing, and two of their homemade original cream horns. On my way to the checkout, I saw at a different type of bakery bread,"Blueberry Goat Cheese Sourdough "- never had seen this combination loaf before, so my curiosity said buy it and try it! After my ride home to Hendersonville, I decided to cut us a couple of slices and toast this bread. I must say that this is extraordinarily delicious and the quality of the bread is superb. I can't wait later to try a little bit of my other sweet treat findings. Anytime that I'm in the Waynesville area and that they are open, I will definitely go by and check some other items out in their cute bakery.

The parking area is a bit small so tight parking but the treats have been tasty. The brownies were pretty good but were more like pan cake than a classic box fudge brownie. The shop itself was cute.

We would have never known about it, except after dining at the Red Rocker restaurant. The grounds are lovely and are shaded with large trees and have seating underneath them. There's also an outside patio where customers can enjoy their food. We opted for the seating inside and I had a delicious everything bagel with lox, cream cheese and capers. Dave had eggs, sausage and cheese on an everything bagel too. There was a continuous line of customers buying bakery stuff and getting coffee. The atmosphere is so homey and pleasant that it a pleasure to eat there.

I have not been to the home location for Four sisters, but I have tried some of the croissants and…read moretheir variations a few times around the Asheville area. While some of their pastries look decent, there is something about their Viennoiserie (laminated dough) products that they just seem to not understand. Every one of their croissants I've tried were underproved, which causes an undesirable internal texture that is dense and not open and light like croissants are supposed to be. They are also very "bread like", which shows that they are losing control of the temperature of the dough and butter during the lamination process. This causes the butter to melt into the dough, rather than keeping the intended layers. This is what causes the crumb of the croissant to be more bread like, rather than the light honeycomb structure you find in a well-crafted croissant. Their other products, assorted buns, cinnamon rolls, etc., look decent, but I haven't tried much of those as they aren't really what I enjoy. I hope at some point they can dial in their understanding of the laminated dough process as it would only elevate and improve what they offer. However, they seem to be busy, so they may be fine with delivering a lower quality product in that department. I also understand that my perspective may be different than the average customer as I'm a professional pastry chef and consultant. I'm not sharing this review to be negative, but to give an honest opinion that may spark this establishment to look deeper into their process and find ways to offer even more to their customers.
