Most places recommend adding ice because it saves the business money while giving customers less product from store bought without lookin at their ingredients. I was intrigued by the Frozen Cherry salad so I kept the meal as listed. The frozen Cherry was very good- like a cherry gelatin with cream cheese mixed in. It was very good and not too sweet but I ate it as a dessert. The entire meal was great. The chicken divan was very hot and really delicious. I thought it might be very rich but it wasn't. It was full of chicken and broccoli and I couldn't even finish it because the dish was larger than it appeared. Did I mention that it was delicious? My friend ordered the Thursday special- grilled cheese with chips and tomato basil soup. The grilled cheese was different in that it came with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. She got it without the lettuce and tomato and said it was delicious. Our service and overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a girl lunch or even a couple lunch, if your husband doesn't mind eating in a tea room.
