Great selection of fabrics and helpful, creative staff but I was surprised to hear they don't carry some supplies such as templates for hand quilting since it's so "passe". Some of us love to quilt by hand so I will be looking for a shop that doesn't consider it old fashioned. read more

Anyone who is interested in quilting at all should come to this shop. The selection of fabrics and tools is really incredible and far beyond what you would see at most craft stores, it is well organized, clean, and well lit, and everything is high quality. I loved seeing all of the quilts hanging up in the shop, too, there are some really beautiful and inspiring ones. Everyone working at the shop was super friendly and knowledgeable. It was a very welcoming environment. The prices are similar to what you'd pay at a big box store, but it's a better deal because what you're getting is better quality. read more

What an adorable store! I came in for some supplies to make a doll for my son. The women were extremely kind and helpful. This was the first time I've attempted this project, so I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. And even though it wasn't a quilting project, the woman who helped me was very patient and pointed me in the right direction for everything I needed. I also browsed the store. They have a huge assortment of fabrics. I got a lot of ideas for other sewing projects. I would highly recommend this store. Thank you!! read more

Such a lovely, locally owned quilt shop with very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly staff, selling quality fabric and wonderful kits. They have begun classes again, wearing masks unless seated at your sewing machine at your own full table. I see that they even going to try some virtual classes. I emailed the owner about a Tips for mask making class that was on their schedule. I am still a bit leery of gathering during the current Florida spike in COVID-19. I asked about the pattern that they would be using, even though I have made over 100 masks of different styles/patterns and I am an experienced sewer, do machine embroidery and quilter. She knows me by name since I would call myself a somewhat frequent customer. To my surprise, she quickly responded with some very helpful information...websites that included the pattern they would use, some You Tube videos for mask making, best materials to use, etc. Even though I have made so many masks for family and friends, I am still looking for a better pattern with more comfort, best protection from non-medical mask, etc. She gave me so much information that I didn't have to worry about subjecting myself to gathering with others, ( although I am sure it would be fun) . I didn't expect her to be so generous with the information that I was seeking, without taking the class. Hopefully she will reap the rewards of her generosity by gaining a faithful customer... ME! I went that week, in my mask, to buy more fabric and supplies for mask making and quilting. I totally enjoy their What's new emails and watch their weekly video chats highlighting new fabrics, classes, new kits, BOM's, etc. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! What a great place to visit! They have a great selection of fabrics and a discounted area. Very friendly even though I explained I was just in town for a few day. They have open sew available when there are no classes for $5.00. There is a wonderful long arm shop next door( attached) if you are a quilter, it's a great place to stop and shop, well worth the time. read more
