We were sat inside, near the patio doors, which they kept open, and it was a very hot, humid day, so it felt as though there was hot air being blown on us. Very uncomfortable. We got drinks, I ordered one with Diet Coke/pepsi, another diner ordered the same drink but with regular, and they didn't tell us which was which when they were delivered, so unsure if the difference was noted. Before ordering food, I asked the waiter what "sauce vierge" was on a particular dish. He said "like a butter sauce". It was not even close. It's actually a lemon, oil, chopped tomato and basil sauce. The dish was also drizzled with balsamic, which did not pair well with the mashed potatoes under it. I've ordered that dish at a different location before and it was nothing similar at all. Someone else got ketchup spilled on them when their meal was being delivered, the server placed it down badly and the cup toppled over, right on a white shirt, which was unfortunate, however the food runner and our server handled it expertly and really went above and beyond, with our server even digging up a Tide stick, and they comped her meal, which we told them was unnecessary. Ups and downs this visit, but I'll still be back again in the future.

Upon entry, we were greeted by a large open dining area with tables scattered throughout and a bar along one of the back walls. The decor is casual, with a dark color scheme to match the bar setting. Their drink menu is larger than their food menu, but despite that they have a nice variety. I didn't see any pattern with the food - there was a mix of plate sizes and types of cuisines. The pulled pork sliders looked good so I went with those; the dish came with two sliders and a side of coleslaw. I really enjoyed this - there was a generous helping of pork in each slider and the sauce had a nice tang to it. I'm normally not a fan of slaw since it is usually cream-based, but this one wasn't so it was quite refreshing and a good contrast to the pork. Service was great, the entire team was friendly. Overall, this was a really good find in Montreal - if you're looking for something low-key with solid food then this would be ideal. I'm interested how the vibe changes at night, so I would be open to returning in the evening for a drink and to explore more of their menu.
