Many older books in really nice condition. In what appears to be a house converted into a literary haven for book lovers, it's a spot that could easily be missed if you aren't directly searching for it! Despite having many older and used books they did honestly have a good selection of newer and popular books too! Compared to many other spots of similar nature I really appreciated the fact they had some newer and popular books in contrast to used books. It's a great way to bring in both those who want the popular and new and those looking to search through the shelves for that hidden gem! Prices seemed reasonable and while we did not interact with the owner nothing negative to say. A spot worth checking out if you find yourself in Portsmouth. I was shopping at the outlet stores in Maine this past week and I noticed this store and saw that…read moreit sells calendars. So I went inside to see what they had since I will be needing a new calendar once the year is over and I figured why not get one right then and there while I happened to be at a store that sells them. They had a pretty good sized selection of calendars and some of them had a sticker on them with a special price. They have all sorts of different themed calendars. I saw ones with actors on them and others with flowers, cats, dogs, sunsets, television shows and much more. I chose a calendar that has photos of flower gardens. The photos on the calendar are beautiful and I lucked out because the calendar I picked happened to be one of the specially priced ones. After I made my selection I looked around the store for a few minutes. I saw other items such as jigsaw puzzles, toys for kids and board games for kids and adults alike. When I went to pay for my calendar the guy working at the cash register was very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with. I am glad I decided to stop by!

Oh no I do understand that a different customer might have put that book in the wrong box BUT when…read moreI went back to look at your past issues you had like 4 long boxes sitting there and I asked how much are these you said there ALL $1 boxes I could also tell from the condition that most likely that was a book that you received when it was new it didn't sell so it made it in the $1 box as most do but that one just happened to go up a little bit in the 10 years it had been sitting in your store ! And like I stated before you came at me with the Mint Condition value ($15) which it clearly wasn't it was probably worth $7 so the fact that you couldn't give up a few dollars on a book that you most likely paid less then cover price 10 years earlier that's ridiculous all that aside I remember very clearly you saying oh that shouldn't have been in that box that should've been back here (pointing behind you on the wall) ! So your excuse isn't gonna fly ! Either way your a used item store so when you buy something from someone you only pay a price low enough so you can turn around and sell it for a profit right ? So what I'm saying here is let's say you buy an item for $20 and it's worth $40 at the time so $20 profit right ? That's good double your money so why is it so bad for you to just put that $40 on the item and leave it there your still getting the original profit you were originally fine with but your way of thinking is if that item went up $10 YOU need to get that extra $10 instead of letting what could be a loyal customer get a good deal and you still get the profit you intended from the beginning this is what I was trying to express to you in my last review I mean you have MANY items in your store that have been there for YEARS !
