Last October, I visited Tyrone, Georgia, and had the good fortune of discovering an absolutely magical coffee shop--so magical, in fact, that I went back twice during my short trip, even though I'd come all the way from Los Angeles. Now, L.A. is hardly short on coffee joints, but this place was in a league of its own: cozy yet airy, beautifully decorated, with smiling faces behind the counter, a genuinely happy staff, and the delightful bonus of an attached antique store. This may be one of the coolest coffee shops that I have been in. Let's start with the atmosphere first. Cool chairs, and antiques. Some of the seating is old airplane seats. It's a perfect perfect place to just go and eat or work. When it comes to the coffee, it's delicious and they have a number of really cool flavor combinations that you can choose from with it whole season. I chose a pumpkin butterscotch latte and got a piece of cake which I absolutely suggest you get it taste like your grandma made it. Visited this establishment on a Saturday. It's a really cute spot. I wasn't greeted when I walked in but I hope it was because they were busy. I ordered a valentines special, cupids arrow. It was chocolate and raspberry. It was quite delicious. The young man who brought it to me was very nice and polite. I would definitely come back. The pastries look delicious and I would definitely like to try one or two of them out. I saw cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, muffins, and even a cheese Danish. I really love this place! It's one thing to have good coffee and good service and there are a lot of coffee shops with both. In addition to that though, this place has a great community vibe. Everyone who goes there is so friendly, and a lot folks around there know each other :) Don't be surprised if someone comes to sit at your table and hang out with you while you sip your delectable drink. While on my recent work trip to Atlanta, I made this place my coffee home. Lovely employees with top tier customer service, tasty pastries, great coffee, & a stellar antique shop attached! Man did I spend some coins in there! This place was just a great hangout spot that I loved to cozy up in when I had the rare moment to myself. There are a few private little nooks in the coffee side... my favorite is the teeny room with the black couch inside. Just a beat up old couch, a table and a window that let's in gorgeous sun rays or soothes with peaceful rain ASMR. My #1 go to place while there. A WARNING though... DO NOT go into the antique store if you're not prepared to spend the coins. I'm telling you. I'm not even a shopper like that and I bought enough shit to literally fill up a husky tuff shed box and FedEx it back home $700 later. The stuff is AMAZING. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. I went to a doctor's appointment nearby and needed a place to work for the afternoon. Circa's looked to have enough tables and nooks to hunker down for the afternoon. OH MY GOSHI wish they had one in Atlanta! They have an abundance of different tables of all types... little half circle desks against the wall, airplane seats arranged together, long tables, high tops. They don't have an abundance of outlets, but I was able to find one. This spot is the cutest. The food looks phenomenal, but as I write I haven't tried anything yet. Their cookies are massive and look nice and soft. I think I might get some pastries to take to a dinner party we're attending tomorrow. I might even eat lunch here. I saw chicken salad! There are some to-go options as well, pre-packaged pasta and green salads. The customer service is as great as their selection. They have everything you'd expect - from a daily brew to matcha and tea to non-dairy lattes (almond, soy, oat). They have an entire 2 columned page of their flavors so you can get creative. Watermelon, peppermint, lavender? Many come in sugar free versions. (Note: Always ask for your latte extra hot... anywhere you go. They're really never hot enough) They're also next to an upscale antique shop with beautiful pieces arranged with classy modern new items and gifts. This coffee shop is one of the area's best! And they're open on Sundays, which makes it a great weekend choice when a few of the other local coffee shops are closed. I never have trouble finding a seat and there is some outside seating as well. This shop has cute boho eclectic seating--the best of all are the airplane seats--these are a big hit. Their furniture and decor is great because they are next to Southern Shed--a cute boutique. It's fun to browse around once you've grabbed a drink! There is plenty of parking, and it's located in a cute quaint downtown area. It's a comfortable ambiance for chatting with friends or getting a bit of work done, with seating fitting for both. Service is great, and the baristas are always friendly. Service is fast. My only qualm is that I am not obsessed with their coffee. Coffee is great it's a beautiful little coffee shop. I just had one incident in which the cashier downgraded my drink size and put the tip on his own. I didn't realized until I got three drinks instead of two with one of them being a large with only one dollar difference and the cashier the second time around didn't input the tip or anything because the iPad had the option for me to tip. Delightful vintage dining experience with a focus on how we always think Cracker Barrel is for the first seconds walking in before realizing it's two commercialized. This Circa Coffee place has a genuine and fascinating appeal from the alluring menu selection to the extremely outdated atmosphere making good oldies on all the nostalgia keys. My buddy and I ended up making a great time gazing at all the eye candy scattered around the walls and ceiling while we waited for our lattes to be prepared. I missed seeing in house crafted syrups which would be appropriate for this old school vibe. Turns out the factory pumps still make happy mixed, my mint latte was the favorite for me. He preferred his cookies and cream yet also could see coming back here often if I live nearby to sample all the special seasonal brews. Prices might seem higher for an independent shop but remember these are adult sized beverages! Can highly recommend! read more

Not impressed. This was my second time stopping in here. I think my biggest pet peeve at a coffee shop is not disclosing they don't serve iced coffee. Does anyone who orders iced coffee want hot coffee diluted with ice (instead getting lukewarm watery coffee)? I think no. What's more frustrating is I would have been happy to get an iced americano or an iced latte but I was not given the opportunity, instead just handed the "iced" hot coffee (ice melted before I got to my car). I ordered it with lavender and vanilla and I don't know how many pumps of lavender they put in but it was like licking a soap dish. I like lavender if coffee but you have to go easy on it. I cannot remember the last time I dumped a coffee but this was undrinkable. At least it was cheap ($3 with the syrups). The first time I came in I got an iced latte with vanilla and blueberry (it was a suggested special at the time) and they WAY overdid it on the blueberry as well. This could be because they use low-ish quality Torani syrups, or just someone not understanding the appropriate ratio for the drinks. The way the counter is set up does not really allow you to look at the bakery case before ordering either, so both times I've forgotten to give it a look before placing my order. Honestly, I don't think I'll be back a third time, especially when Kakao is right down the road and they do it right every time. It is a cute space with quite a bit of seating, so if that's what you're looking for it's probably good, but I just can't get over the product quality. read more

Such a cute coffee house! My coworkers and I visited this location after a volunteer event in the area. The parking lot is average size, not too small. The inside is such a cute vibe that has created a great atmosphere, they also have an outdoor seating area which has two tables right outside of the restaurant and across the parking lot there is another seating area with about 5 tables which is where we decided to dine. This outdoor area gave us enough room to space ourselves and social distance. I ordered the Biscoff Frappuccino which was so delicious! 3 of my coworkers ordered food which did take quite a while to receive but the staff was nice enough to bring it outside to them. The staff was really nice and handled the drink orders in a timely manner. The coffee shop is also connected to an antique store so you are able to shop while you wait on your order. The decor that they have inside is really unique and too cool. I would definitely recommend this coffee house. read more
