    Iced Mocha Coffee
    Doug G.

Leaf and Bean is always a go-to for me when visiting back home. I adore local chill-vibed coffee shops with solid iced coffee, and this spot hits the mark. It sits directly on the square a few doors down from the famed Alamo and across from the courthouse. It occupies a fairly large space with a small outdoor covered patio, window/rail seating, a string of tables along with a casual and comfy seating area with oversized chairs and end tables. Over the years I have sampled a few drinks and eats, with my most recent and consistent order being a cold brew with almond milk and SF cinnamon vanilla syrup. *chefs kiss* They offer all of your standard coffee shop drinks with a mix of house created drinks. I usually stick to the basics with small modifications, always a win. Pricing is pretty standard, maybe a tiny bit pricier than other shops. Cold brew with a few add-ons will run you around $6. Food wise they offer a good variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, along with pastries and cookies. Most of the food is pre-prepared and packaged, just heated up in store. Same thing for the pastries and cookies. Honestly this is expected, and I'm not after James Beard nominated dishes. Service is hit and miss, majority of the time there are multiple baristas behind the bar that are wrapped up in conversation with each other, a bit too much to provide attentive service. The space is well kept and clean. Parking is all street, if you can't find one on the square, hit the side streets. Overall, Leaf and Bean is a vibe and I'm here for it.

Being in the area for a short burst of time, I was trying to find somewhere that I could spend a few hours working on my laptop. Street parking was a breeze and there were plenty of tables to pick from. Prices were fair so I settled on their Chai latte with oat milk. As much as I wished I liked it, it was unlike any other chai I have ever had before. It was overly sweet and creamy. Kind staff, cool environment, but I would not order that drink again. I did order an Arnold Palmer another time and enjoyed much more. Still recommend checking out the rest of their menu!

Looks super cute from outside. Woman owned Small business Cute inside also- hipster and looks like something I'd see in California. Service was also that comparable to Cali c/s. There is NONE and add in a hint of attitude on top. I wasn't impressed. Food was flavorless and bread was overly mixed. Overpriced for the quality. I bake far far better. Drink was good. Wanted to love this place. Won't ever go back.

One of my favorite, hole in the wall, coffee spots in Newnan. If you're looking for a slow Sunday morning start and a reasonably priced latte Leaf and Bean is your spot! Overall, latte taste could improve, but ambiance, price and one of the best tasting cinnamon rolls help make up for it!

This is a great location right of the main road in Downtown Newnan worth trying. The seating, decor, and friendly service makes it a great stop on the way to town, or back home. The lattes and tea are great and well worth going out of your way. I will be back for sure!

Great ambience, fast service on a Sunday after church. Lots of drink options, and really unique drinks to try!

The coffee house has quite a bit to choose from on their flavors. They offer pastries and even ice cream. I wasn't impressed with how they handled the mask situation though. After we ordered, we sat down and got our food in a few minutes after it was prepared. Two slices of banana bread, two scoops of ice cream, and one pumpkin frappuccino was what we got for a quick bite and a sip. It was ok and did the job before we headed out of there. The staff was quick to get out orders and the friendly service didn't outbeat the fact they weren't masks. Everybody feels differently about the coronavirus and to each their own. When I went in the coffee house and saw that none of the staff members were wearing a mask, it made me question getting anything from here. Since my father-in-law was with us, he ended up paying for it and I didn't oppose to that fact. I just don't understand why businesses are doing that when there is a pandemic going on. Is it because there isn't a virus out there that could potentially put someone at a deadly risk? There was even customers not wearing a mask and it makes me think if they know of anybody that has been affected by this virus or they just don't care. When you get staff members that are making and giving out items not wearing the mask while being exposed to customers who may or may not being wearing one as well, it doesn't seem to bother them that the virus isn't going to get under control that way. I will not go there again, even if I was in the area or not.

Very friendly service, super cute coffee shop and great atmosphere. The coffee was fantastic! We got a vanilla cold brew with cream and it was great. This is our second time coming here and it was just as good as the first time!

Very cozy and welcoming ambiance. Always full of patrons enjoying their beverage, meeting friends, or staying overbook a book. Great variety of beverages and pastries, even gluten-free option (chocolate chip oatmeal bread). My child loves to come play with the toys in the back while having breakfast or brunch. The staff is always talkative and welcoming.

The atmosphere and food are very desirable. The service is lacking and random people on their computers take over all the tables. If you want to eat, be very pensive. So much more potential, but I will continue to support them.

We were traveling nearby on a recent Saturday and opted to stop in at around noon. There is street parking as well as a large public lot across the street. This space was previously a small Thai restaurant (and I'm sure it had multiple incarnations before that). From what I recall, the layout in the Thai restaurant seemed smaller. They appear to have opened up space so that the dining area is deeper now. There is a dining area up front with a few tables; this area has more natural light from windows. The dining area continues along one wall adjacent to the kitchen, and it is a bit darker there. The overall vibe is 'artsy', with art displayed on the wall (some for sale), creative names for menu items, etc. The shop would fit right in to a small college town. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We got seated right away and were able to find items we wanted. The menu is not extensive, but it has a decent spread of items that should satisfy most people. I quite liked my BLT and the accompanying chips. The size was right and the bacon was well crisped. They also didn't try too hard with some odd bread or whatever. I like a place that just makes a straight-ahead BLT without trying to make it needlessly 'classy'. My wife liked her chicken salad sandwich okay. The side salad she got was good. Prices were reasonable. They seemed to have an adjoining property called Lune which may be their dinner incarnation. It seems like both restaurants are related and the menu implied that they did serve dinner, but maybe just at Lune (?). FWIW. I would consider returning here for another meal.

But I ended up ordering the fried chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. It came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. And it was big--like really big. I ate about half and that was more than enough. The honey mustard is homemade and so flavorful... definitely the standout. You order at the counter and there's plenty of seating inside, plus a few tables outside along the sidewalk. It's right across from the courthouse, which makes for a really nice setting. You can also see straight into the kitchen behind the counter, which I always like. It's not a fancy place at all--in a good way. Most of the people coming in looked like they were just on their lunch break, and it had that easy, local feel. The woman behind the counter was really friendly and helped me pick between a few options. By the time I left, the place was starting to get packed, so clearly it's a popular spot. The sandwiches and burgers I saw coming out looked really solid too, so if I'm ever back in the area, I'd want to try one of those.

Walked into her spacious casual dining atmosphere. The menu board was a nice big modern graphics driven and easy read. Both salad were more than we could finish, (I was here with my spouse). Prices were very reasonable for the volume quality. All of staff were approachable and friendly. Placed your order, get a table number, and the server brings out your food. Kind of reminds me of Culver. Didn't have room to try the homemade poundcake or the fresh bake cookies. But they look very yummy. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the mood for casual American dining.
