I was told to stop in so that she could see the dress and asses what work needed to be done. From time I walked in she was nothing but accommodating. After the original fitting, I was told that I would receive a phone call from the seamstress. However, 3 weeks later, that call still hadn't come so I phoned them only to be told that the original fitting had to be redone and that NO work had been done in the three weeks it had been sitting in the shop. Thank God I checked. I brought my niece back and was told a two week pickup date. Upon "attempted" pickup, I was told that I was incorrect and, according to the seamstress, I was supposed to wait on her phone call to pick up the dress. Now 5+ weeks after the original visit. I informed her that I would be picking up the dress on the next business day, Monday. Upon actual receipt of the dress, the crinoline has jagged scissor cuts all around. The actual hem is majorly crooked and the dress was taken in WAY too much so as now it just barely fits. I dropped it off to another seamstress last night who was visible shocked that I had paid someone $65.00 for this.
