Annette was the manager that convinced me to give them a try after every single nightmare I had with the other Walgreens. I haven't regretted it since. Just so everyone knows, I have been a customer of Walgreens for over 25 years. They are just as rare to find a good one in other states as well! I don't know what it is with this company, but previous Walgreens have brought me so much stress. When you find a good one, and you will, stick with them even thru random mistakes. It'll be worth it in the long run. Finding a decent pharmacy today is like winning the lottery. And I whole heartedly mean that. I could write pages and pages of rotten experiences from this company. That being said, I feel like I can be pretty objective about what's good and bad about this place. I don't think this is breaking news, but Walgreens is a place that charges you more than others because of the convenience it provides. That's just the way it goes. This particular Walgreens has a pharmacy that seems to always somehow have customers with difficult orders. I am rarely pleased with the speed of service at the pharmacy. I highly recommend going at off times if you want to avoid long waits. On the good side, there are a lot of friendly employees, including one who seems to be there during every single open hour. And there is also a good chance you will see my friend Todd there, because he is always there too. And here's my dirty secret: This place is so close to my house that I'll still go no matter what. This location has went down hill…read more Walked in a few days ago to pick up a prescription, the interior was trashed. Trash on the floor, empty shelves with trash on them. By the looks of things it had been left in that state for awhile. My Dr. had e-transferred my prescription over to them at least 30 min before I got there. The tech behind the counter informed me they did not have it. OK, no problem, Went home, waited an hour and called back, nope still do not have my prescription in the system. Called my Dr's, they confirmed that they had sent it over and sent it over again, since my DRs assistant knew I needed to get on the those meds sooner than later, she called what I am guessing is a top secret number for Dr only. The Pharmacy reported that my prescription had been filled for 2 hours... It had not been two hours since the original prescription was sent over. So I head back down there, pick up my prescription and guess what the time stamp on their paper work stated that the prescription had only been filled a few minutes prior to me arriving the second time. Don't insult my intelligence by lying to me. Tell me you are understaffed, behind what ever, just do not lie. The next day for my next prescription was not much better. I normally use a mail order pharmacy, this time I needed my prescriptions filled in real time. Their service proved to me that I had made the correct choice using mail order. Really have no reason to go back in that store.

But as of Oct. 2025, they don't understand how to properly fill a prescription or how to read a calendar. My experience has been nothing but failed communication and illiteracy. They have taught me that pharmacists do not have to take the Hippocratic Oath, for they have no sort of critical thinking in the building. Per the "head pharmacist" they are not allowed to refill a prescription on the same day as it expires. Their lack of knowledge of the Gregorian calendar leads them to believe that same-day is early. Any time I have been inside the store, it has been organized and well-stocked. The front desk and standard Walgreens employee have been helpful and kind. The pharmacy however, has been stocked with mindless drones that do not understand the basic human experience and are about as useful as the pope's testicles. Or a 300lb horse jockey. And they provide as much help as a paper spork, Reddit awards, and male nipples. In fact, I would rather have a conversation with famed and disgraced televangelist Billy Henn than try to receive help from any of the members of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens. Their best advice was telling me to use a different pharmacy. It was the only logical sentence that was spoken to me during our conversation. I was on hold multiple times attempting to speak to someone, only to be met with a pickup and immediate hang up. These pharmacists actively work against their client base. I wouldn't dare call myself a patient bc at that point I might as well call myself a willing participant in the most useless game show a la The Apprentice, of retail pharmacy. The bar of being a pharmacist at this Walgreens must be so low that I could sponsor a McNugget and it may very well beat out the competition of the current staff. (As of October 2025) . All of September was perfect. They ordered and filled the my Rx on time and had no problem. However as of October, someone was hired that contains less of a brain than a head of lettuce. It is a distressing signal that there are people out there that control the medications of others but cannot be bothered to have a thought of their own. What a shame. Edit for context: both my insurance and medical provider approved a refill for today (10/27/25) yet these dumb kids claim that the refill is "early". The pharmacists have no ability to comprehend or understand the task they have been hired to do. They are middlemen that cannot complete a simple task.
