We've stopped at this gas station 2-3 times per year for the last 7 years. It is the half way point on our trip. It's Circle K, what do you expect? It's not like a Love's or a Pilot. We usually gas the vehicle, regardless of the gas price. We always use the restroom. I think the restrooms are pretty clean for the most part. My husband has not mentioned his bathrooms, so they must be clean enough too. I often will get a Subway sandwich. The Subway looks clean and well kept. The store is decently stocked with all sorts of snacks. The parking lot is quite large, and the store is usually very busy. It will continue to be our half way stop point. read more

The gas prices were about fifty cents higher than the states average. The parking lot was small and super crazy. Our dog managed to slip her leash in the parking lot which gave us all quite the fright but thankfully we were able to catch her before she got tagged by a car screaming through the lot. Inside they do have a lot of stuff, and large bathrooms, but they were crazy dirty. There was also more than one homeless person hitting up people for money in the parking lot. Cars are stacked up. People going from pump to pump trying to find one that works. After waiting in line and 2 dead pumps I went into the store to ask if any pumps work. A young woman said none of the pumps are working due to an electrical problem. I said why don't you go out and tell everyone. She said, "Tell my General Manager" who was standing next to her. I did and the woman said, "Thank you, ma'am". I repeated myself. She stared at me and said, "Thank you, ma'am". They knew the pumps weren't working but wouldn't tell the people outside. Over 20 minutes wasted at the most inconsiderate gas station I've EVER been to. read more

I look for routes that take us through Hatch so I can stop at this Pic-Quik. It is clean, with friendly staff and lots of food and drink choices. The bays are sized to make it easy to gas up, even pulling a camper. They sell wonderful baked goods brought in by a Las Cruces bakery. There are some fun shops and restaurants near when you just need to take a break. read more

Clean gas station/convenience store. Nice inventory of a variety of snacks, candy, food items. Clean bathrooms. Well-lit. Friendly help. It has a BBQ restaurant inside as do all Pic Quiks do, apparently. A good, dependable stop in Hatch. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Stopped in here to refuel and for a potty break for everyone. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the AMAZING smell of chile's cooking! There is really nothing like a HATCH Chile for unique flavor and heat. Gas was a bit more expensive than usual, but whatever! The bathrooms were clean, and the selection in the store was vast. I would certainly stop here again, on my way to and from...or a visit to HATCH for the festival! read more

I was at the turnaround point of my 4-day, 277mile/446kms "iBirthday (i63!) Biketour!", and what a welcome point this was! I was frustrated with the lack of a motel/hotel in this agricultural hub of Northern Dona Ana County, but this Pic-Quik was a perfect alternative despite no overnight facility other than the C-store/fueling. What a particularly enjoyed was the super Subway in-side, fuel for my weary body. Also important were the few tables & chairs for patrons who weren't in an rush to get back on the road--including me. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting, resting, eating, and drinking lots of soothing chocolate milk in the evening, and lots of caffeine-loaded coffee in the morning. The very clean restrooms were welcomed by all, not just me. My only disagreement was that I could not lump purchases (super Subway, C-store)together on the same card--it had to be two separate charges. However, highly efficient, friendly, professional cashier Margaret soothingly put my concern to rest as she quickly checked me through for the coffee, Sarah Farms Chocolate Milk and a Kind fruit/spice bar to munch. In addition to Pic-Quik, The other saving section of Hatch are the perfect public library, and a historical museum. I will always look to Pic-Quik for the best place to re-nourish my flagging bod, giving me respite from the road and re-covering for soon-to-occur travel. We stop every month with the Disabled Veteran van from Silver City, New Mexico (all volunteer drivers) on our way to the Albuquerque VA Hospital with our very ill Grant County veterans -- usually around 5am in the morning. This place is a life-saver and thank God that Hatch has such a 24-hour place to help people. We gas up and they have excellent food and drink for breakfast. We are so appreciative that they are there, and the workers/staff at that hour are good people to do the serving work that they do on a hard schedule (just like the military). I would like to thank the owner/investors personally, if we could meet them or invite them to our Silver City DAV meetings. PLEASE put the menu online on the website. We would like to order in advance, the day before, so the food is ready when we get there. And THANK YOU for your service, too! read more

Stopped for gas Dec. 21st on our way to Tucson to spend Christmas with our daughter. Our Explorer is an ecoboost so it is advised to use premium. I was stunned at the price of $4.57 a gallon. In Deming premium was 3.70 a gallon. Talk about getting gouged! read more

The only pluses to this place is that they are open 24 hours, and they serve hot food, but the cleanliness of the store keeps me from ordering there.. There are 2 things that bothered me immensely. 1) Their gas is extra expensive, at least 20 to 30 cents more than Deming, if you're driving to Arizona during the day, just drive to Deming you'll save a ton of money. 2) The men's bathroom is absolutely FILTHY. Not even an exaggeration, the walls around the sinks are soiled with filth and dirty. I went there on 4/20/2014 and the stalls had been smeared with feces. Gas here was $.22 to $.25 higher per gallon than other nearby towns in NM!!! What a rip off!! And, "pay at the pump" was out of order so I had to traipse in, give them my card, go back out, pump the gas, go back in... blah blah blah. Very annoying. Coffee was not particularly fresh. Bathrooms needed attention to cleanliness. I will only stop here again if I am desperate (which I was) and I'll definitely not buy gas here unless I'm in a pinch! read more

A huge rave for the staff at this Pic Quik. I recently stopped there for gas and beverages and left my wallet with credit/debit cards and driver's license behind. When I called, they said it was there and they'd expedite it to me since I by then I was in SE Arizona. I offered to pay for this service, however, they declined. They put a $250 "hold" on my credit card for a gas purchase of $20. That is absolutely outrageous. Does anyone really pull up to the pumps who needs $250 worth of gas? And so many of them that then STEAL the gas that the station has to protect themselves by putting a $250 "hold" on my credit card? That doesn't clear for days? Yeesh. The personnel and manager are incompetent. I carpool with co workers to Santa Fe for work related business and got confirmation from the store to leave my vehicle there. Well someone didnt get the message out to the manager is what I was told even though I have proof that I did and they ordered to get my vehicle towed. How is it that I went through every precaution and approval and they still manage to get my vehicle towed. Dont ever ask to leave your vehicle there on any emergency. They offer the service and do not follow through. Now I have to drive from cruces to garfield and pay 305 dollars to get my vehicle back because as they put it someone drop the ball and there is nothing we can do for you.
