We did our first RV stop stay over at Loves. Although it will probably be our last due to noise but it is a truck stop. I think there were some people drag racing down the street late at night since there is a long street next to the station. Anyway the facilities were nice we like to stop at Loves on the road you know what you are getting. The RV set up was nice with concrete parking full hook ups. We prefer concrete slabs and they have them here! The sites are 55' long and 25' wide. They have full hookups. Wi-Fi is included. It was a quiet stay, we didn't hear the semi trucks or other traffic. There are mixed reviews about this travel stop. This is the "all you need to go to one stop shop". We need to fill up on gas and for 3/4 tank full $32.00 @$3.29 !!!! Restroom break a must so off we all went ... women's restroom is clean and guess whaaaat ???? !!!! It had seat covers and automatic toilet flush too !!! There are shower rooms provided for travelers especially the truckers. Awesome ! This store has everything from hot and cold food , apparels, novelty items , accessories, electronics , automotive, tools and anything you name it !!! They keep up with what is trending for the season. Subway offers fresh sandwiches the way you like it I bought hand held games for my grandkids and of course my New Mexico ref magnet souvenir. Ashley the cashier was friendly and she was very helpful in directing me where I could find the magnets. It's hard to miss the "heart" on top of their sign as you're zipping along the Interstate and perhaps there's some sort of Pavlovian response because as soon as I saw the sign, I realized I needed a restroom. This one was decently clean and the shop was well lit so that I felt comfortable parking here and walking across the lot. They do not allow overnight parking and I didn't give it a try. After my stay at La Quinta by Wyndham in Deming, NM, I was on my way... on the road again... isn't that a song? I'm the last person to ask about artist names, song names, song lyrics... I just don't remember them LOL. My 1st stop at Love's in Las Cruces, NM for gas only. Easy peezee! However, there was no paper in the machine to print my receipt... a pet peeve of mine, but I let it go shortly afterwards. I rather not walk into the food mart to get my receipt if I don't have to. Hoo boy! This was one of those "Can I give it zero stars" situations. Perhaps it was just this particular Love's that was the problem. I will find out when I try to contact their head office and report our experience. We were heading east on I-10 and were looking for some place to camp for the night. We had heard about Love's RV stops and when we saw one about 100 miles down the road at Las Cruces, NM we decided to give it a shot. First of all, the on line check in sucked. At one point, as I was trying to add my credit card, it said it was "loading" and never loaded. When I called they had no clue. I asked if I could just pay when I got there but no, only on line. It finally timed out with some nonsense about captcha and I tried again and this time it worked. We pulled in and were shocked to see how close to the main road it was. But, it was too late to find another place before dark so we backed into our spot. After finally figuring out how to check in (even the guy who came out to help couldn't do it at first) we started hooking up. First, water pressure was 15 psi. I can almost spit more than that. I got a story about how they just had a company in fixing it but I guess they didn't actually test it. We never got any decent water pressure all night. Then the electric didn't work. They reset to no avail. They offered to move me to the next one over but we were already hooked up and had disconnected the truck. I suggested that I just pull my cord over to the other one and plug in there but they said no because then they couldn't rent my spot. I pointed out that my spot was dead anyway until they fixed the power. I then asked for a refund but since it was already dark I wanted to just boondock in the same spot. No go. They wouldn't refund me unless I disconnected all the services, hooked up the truck and took one of the big rig spots next to all the transport trucks that leave their rigs running all night making noise and spewing diesel fumes all over my paint job. I think the absolute worst part was the horrible customer service. All I got was "The computer controls all" and "It's our supplier's fault" like as if either one of those was a "me" problem. Loves Travel Stop is the best place to stop when your on the road and need a clean restroom to use. Their bathrooms are always very clean no matter which one you stop at. At least this has been my experience with Love's Travel Stops. Driving thouhgh New Mexico and spotted this Love's and I knew it was the best place to make a pit stop for a bathroom break. They also offer goods you might need for the road such as snacks, drinks, Subway sandwiches, or a tire buddy. The employees here were welcoming and friendly. No dog park as advertised on the highway sign! It's the main reason I stopped here traveling early... for gas and a good run for the pup. Dog park to me means an enclosed area to let your dog run a bit and stretch its legs. Here it means open sandy areas where dogs can crap all over and people don't seem to have to clean up after their dogs crap! It's everywhere. Think you can escape with out having a dog? No... the flies all around are atrocious... Probably from all the people who travel with their dogs, take them out to poop, but don't seem to have poop bags! I just watched a lady with a phone in one hand, smoke in the other.... and a dog. No poop bags. Or maybe they were mad their dogs didn't get a run around as anticipated. So they left statement poops. Who knows. Crap everywhere!!! Pay someone to cover up that "dog park" notation on the sign running west 32 miles before Loves. Anyways toilets are minimal. Bottleneck lines. This was the smallest love's I had ever been to. It does get crowded as it isn't as large as the other ones. The bathrooms were ok. I stopped in as my windshield wipers which never got used when I was in Arizona showed that the wipers should have been replaced before I hit the road. I paid way more if I just went 15 minutes up the highway into an autozone, but what do I know. Customer service was a bit subpar. Wasn't greeted or even talked to during the entire check out process. They do have a subway inside the love's if you are hungry and showers if your a trucker. Good for a quick stop as the actual city itself is only 10 minutes from the gas station. read more

I went up to the counter with two candy bars, different ones that were listed $1 on sale red tag from $2.69. The guy rang it up and said it was $5.38. I said they say they're a $1. The sign says right over there. He just looks at me and says well do you still want it. I said yes but for the discount. I said if it's not a dollar then you need to go over there and take down all the dollar red signs because it's false advertising. He still just stood there and looked at me and then put some sanitizer on his hands. He was more willing to just delete my order then to provide quality customer service. We travel a lot and stop at many Loves and Pilot gas stations. This is a first for such poor service. No smile nothing. If there was a zero for reading that's what he'd get and he represents the store. read more

I was so very glad to see this gas station. I misjudged and thought there would be another gas station before I ran out of gas but the gas stations I could see (it was midnight) were all closed and boarded up! Not a bad truck stop but cleanliness isn't a priority. I had to do a quick wipe down on my own shower bc it just wasn't clean enough for me to shower in. The water has a smell that will quickly have to washing faster just to turn it off. If I was you I wouldn't let this be the truck stop you forget to bring your own towel to. read more

Wow I have never been treated like I was the biggest inconvenience by the shift lead of a gas/sandwich place for asking to refund me . I got one foot long that was overcharged (usually it's 7 bucks not 13 and when I asked why the register lady why I was overcharged, she said cuz it's two different meats and I asked if I could change my order to just one meat . ( reason was because I wasn't aware and I'm really low on cash and I need to get gas to get home and I didn't think I needed to explain this) . Well since they had already made the sandwich she had to ask the shift lead , the lead comes up and says to me with the biggest attitude and condescending voice and a dirty look " so let me understand, you want me to toss the sandwich in the trash waste it and then make you a new one ?" I immediately felt in shock and attacked that I was being treated with such disrespect for asking for something so simple . I was so uncomfortable . I told her "uhh what? Seriously?" Her: "I'm just asking questions cuz we gotta toss it and waste it" like if that's what her issue was then I'll take it home and eat it what's the problem? is it coming out of your paycheck? No lol and I said "well yes " and she said "but you ordered this way to begin with." And I said ""? I wasn't aware of the prices I'm not even from this state I'm passing through. This place is the worst Loves I've been to and will no longer fuel at a Loves the restrooms were not cleaned nor was the store at about 230 am. I waited an hour before finding out the showers were closed due to under staff, the parking lot sucks and the fuel lanes are as dirty as the restrooms. This place deserves 0 stars. read more

Easy access on and off the freeway. Gas prices a few pennies more than competitors I saw when I actually went through Las Cruces. (That is always annoying!) Coffee selections were limited .. kind of odd for this day and age at a truck stop. Restrooms had several of the stalls in the women's room out of order!! We stopped for Gas. It wasn't the cheapest but it was only place around! Because it was convenient we went in to subway for sandwiches for dinner. One of the ladies working doesn't know how to cut bread for anything!!! I was so upset by this and she clearly could see I wasn't happy she cut my bread for my sandwich but she didn't give a crap and proceeded to cut everyone else's bread the same way. The people at this shop are all very friendly. Last time I came here, I also got highway road conditions from one of the employees. That's practically unheard of these days, as most people who work at gas stations (even truck stops) are clueless. Also, contrary to what some of the previous posters said, the bathrooms are actually clean here. I'll keep coming back when passing through NM on I-10. EDIT: Last time I came through here, the people working here are actually FAMILIAR with local highways and road conditions (a rarity these days, when most fuel station employees are clueless). One of the employees told me to avoid I-25 because of a snow storm and gave me tips about driving in the snow (which proved lifesaving). I cannot speak enough good things about this particular location and the knowledgeable/friendly employees who work here. Stopped at this gas station out of pure necessity because we were literally running with .5 gallon left. Little did we know that this low quality gas would end up clogging up the system of our VW causing it to stall and require more than $700 in work to clean out the fuel system after driving only 3 miles from the gas station. If you drive a nicer car and can avoid it, don't stop for gas here no matter how cheap it sounds. read more

Not only is the primary focus of Love's to provide fuel for 18-wheelers as well as 4-, 3- and 2-wheelers (some of those 2-wheelers are non-motorized, i.e., bicycle/Doublevision). This particular visit at this specific refueling station was helping my #1, most favorite daughter relocate from AustinTX-USA to Culver CityCA-USA, using a fantastic Budget rental truck. While fuel was needed, I also took advantage of the diverse goods available in the shop and bought a triple 12 volt power outlet to serve our various personal electronic devices. I am so pleased that Love's is available throughout the USA, and can always be counted upon to provide the essentials for modern day travel, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Making it even more attractive is Subway, which also provides customers with fresh sandwiches--important to me when I biketour as Subway is my #1 eatery.
