When it is not closed, it's like a homeless shelter in and around the store - which could be intimidating to some customers. Maureen is fine, but still is guilty of random closing, but the guy that works when she is out is rude and seems like he's out of it most of the time. One time he came to unlock the store looking like he was high (not just weed high), and another time he was locked inside with a seemingly homeless woman. Outside of the morning situation, the store is constantly filthy and always out of stock of common items. I have voiced my concerns before and this morning again I lost time driving to Sheetz, so I will not gamble any more. It is clear that Speedway doesn't care about its patrons, so I'm sure their life will go on just fine.

I asked the cashier if she could put $20 into pump #3 (for reference, in the store, this is the register to the left of the rotating door in the counter). I was prompted to put in my debit card and bypass the pin, and went on my way having thought I paid $20 for gas. I check into my account 15 minutes later and see all the money in my checking account has gone, and there is a $55 charge from GetGo. I knew exactly what happened. The worst part is when I called they told me "I don't know what to do for you, call in the morning?" UNBELIEVABLE. How's this for an idea, go investigate and see what went wrong???? It's located near a sports bar. This is a good place if you're looking for some craft beers. It could be the best gas station in the area. It's located near the railroad tracks on Scioto Darby Road. They're next to Nasty's Sports Bar. It's a fairly new gas station, so it's really clean inside. The craft beer selection includes Four String Brewery. It also has lots of other smaller breweries. They have many single cans. It also has Buzz Balls which are so good. There's lots of variety in this store. I would say Darby Sunoco is the best gas station in the area. Very disappointed customer!…read more Worst experience I've ever had at this place. Long story short, I purchased an item that turned out to be defective. I was told I could exchange it, so I opened the replacement item right there in front of the cashier to make sure it actually worked before leaving the store. I never left the building with the item, and the box was not damaged at all. After realizing the original item actually functioned better than the replacement, I simply asked if I could have the first one back instead. What should have been a simple customer service interaction turned into a loud argument in front of other customers. The store clerk ultimately threw the replacement item on the counter and told me to leave the store. In the end, I was still left accepting a poor-quality item even after trying to calmly resolve the issue. I truly hope the manager reviews the video footage from tonight so he can teach his employees a little professionalism and how to properly handle customer service situations when management isn't around. What makes this even more disappointing is that I've been coming to this store for well over a decade and have always been treated with kindness and respect. The cashier is usually a very friendly guy, which made tonight even more shocking. Instead of being treated like a loyal customer trying to resolve an issue with a defective product, I was treated like I was some kind of problem or inconvenience. Completely unacceptable.
