It's a smaller gas station very close to the main store and its parking lot, but wasn't too chaotic because of the lack of traffic. It has three islands with 2 pumps each (total of 12 nozzles), with regular at $2.57. Stopped inside the warehouse since there was parking available. The food court is located inside, with same expected pricing ($1.99 for pizza slice and $1.50 for hot dog/soda bundle). Was planning to grab something quick, but thought better of it when we saw the lines. Soon learned that it's literally difficult to leave a Costco without buying anything since the only exit has a line for buyers to validate their receipt. Just squeezed between the carts of the waiting exiters...oh well.

I understand that stores can get busy, but that does not excuse unprofessional behavior toward customers. I was genuinely shaken by how I was treated, which is not something I expect from a store I've previously recommended to others. I live in this community and often share recommendations on where to shop. Until now, I have spoken highly of Lowe's Foods, but this experience has made me reconsider that. Customer service matters, and interactions like this reflect poorly on the business. I would appreciate this being addressed so other customers do not have a similar experience.

The guy working the register was on the phone when I came in and I looked around the whole store , bought a beer and when he check me out he was still on the phone. I bought one 16 ounce can of beer for $2.99 plus tax. They have ice cream , snacks , and even beach souvenirs. Picnic table outside the door had a few people hanging out , but they didn't bother anyone like bumming money or doing other things when I walked by. It is a very short walk from Blue Water Resort.

We ordered the large hoagie tray for our last get together and it was a hit. Something for everybody, even the little folks. The food was fresh, well prepaired and delicous. They even throw in packets of condiments. We have tried Jersey Mikes and even Subway in a pinch, buy Publix stands out as a winner in my book. When we're in the mood for a hoagie, we order on-line and have never been disappointed. Next time you need a quick catered meal, that won't break the bank, skip the pizza or fried chicken and treat your guests to the best hoagies on the Grand Strand and let Publix in Murrells Inlet treat you to a feast. I like to add my personal touch to a catered family meal with five or six pounds of our local shrimp. Seven Seas Seafood is our choice for fresh seafood. The meat dept is very expensive and you need a bank loan to buy bacon there . So I do the bulk of my shopping at Food Lion or Walmart . But I have bought a few subs from their deli to try them however I just bought one a few days ago only wanted a half but the employee said it was 6.99 so since their full sub was on sale for 7.99 did I want the full one instead which I did purchase , I noticed as the young girl who was making it who talked so softly I had to keep asking her to speak up it's very noisy in that area, was picking the toppings out of the bottom of the metal containers where there was a lot of liquid left because most were almost empty so the stuff she was added on the sub was dripping wet and she put a lot of mayonnaise on it too, so when I got out to the car with my groceries I noticed she had priced the sub 9.99 instead of the sale price so I went back in to the service desk and they did refund 2. 00 for her mistake , so I drove a block up and bought a drink at Taco Bell and sat in the parking lot to eat the sub I had just bought while grocery shopping . Only when I unwrapped it the top bun was sopping wet like dough , I had to take it off and just eat the bottom half of the cold cut sub , I brought the other half of it home to try to salvage the rest of the mess left on the soggy bun , ended up taking the meat and cheese off and putting it on a hot dog bun I had . Won't be getting any more subs from there again , the last one i had ordered there wasn't good either and they are expensive , best thing to do there is ask for the lettuce tomatoes onions or pickles like I had on mine to be put in a separate container so you can add the toppings when you get home so you don't open it up and find a soggy mess like I did .

Rushes to check me out--Sunday evening, not busy. I put in my phone number and it was the wrong number. I told him I need to try another number. He proceeds to tell me he can't do it and rings up my groceries without changing my number. I told him I wanted to input the right number in. He proceeds to tell me I've got to go the main desk to get my number applied. He made no attempt to get help and learn how to make the change. I had to take my food to the front desk. Eventually got the right number in at the front desk 15 minutes later and saved about $3.50 because of being a frequent buyer. Just to add something else there was an older couple in front of me and when he gave them their change back, there were penny's involved. He ran out. He made no effort to call someone to get change he just asked them if they cared. They said no but he shouldn't have even asked. Look this kid seemed arrogant and like he didn't care. He should never be working a checkout. He'd be better off stocking shelves!! He needs better training. Very sad that hasn't been trained better. Disappointed.
