Another surprise and delight we're the potatoes wedges. My daughter was disappointed they didn't have "regular" French fries, but was very pleasantly surprised by the potato wedges...skin on thick cut and breaded in the same batter as chicken and fried. We also tried the Mac & Cheese, and while the kids loved it, I was not a fan. It was orangey and thick and gloppy. The chicken also comes with a choice of dipping sauce, and because we ordered so much chicken, they gave us a selection of sauce sauce they had..."Chester's special sauce" was sort of like a thousand island but a little more tart, and the usual ones like bbq, ranch, sweet & sour, and honey mustard. Thank goodness they had two people running the cash registers and it didn't take long for me to work my way to the front of the cash out line. The parking lot was crowded full with vehicles all trying to buy gas or work there way to a parking spot so they can make their way into the store for their Thanksgiving needs. Normally, I would have given Cumbys a 3 rating today, but do to the fact that they offered it's customers a free cup of coffee and the fantastic demeanor of the sales associates I am up in my rating to 4. When gas everywhere else has been $2.15, this station has stayed at $2.09. It's a small station that isn't the massive food counter of say a Cumberland Farms or a Sheetz, but it has cheap gas. That's why I will wait to get it here. It's also directly in front of the auto parts store if you need anything.

Aside from that, the Cumbies on Forrest Ave., near Morrels corner, has really good people working there that have been there for a bit, that have not been just shuffled around a lot, they have been pretty stable, so they are people you actually know, and the gas prices are kind of competitive. And the snacks are pretty fresh as well. If I were looking for a place to go, esp. early in the morning for something, this would be the Cumbies I would be going to...

They are pleasant and move people through efficiently. The gas pumps are PLENTIFUL! both sides of the building have two rows of pumps and the diesel is off to the side. They offer the normal convenience food items of beer, soda, chips, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, milk, etc. and lottery tickets as well as smokes and such. Oh, and the music is pretty good. If I have to make a stop on my way before I have had my coffee, this is always it b/c it's hard to be in a bad mood when the customers and staff are all so pleasant.

Everyone was friendly and engaging. I had a very pleasant conversation with a gentleman who worked there regarding my car.
